Masculine Gift Bags by Angie

Hello SRM friends. Angie here with you today!!

Wanted to share with you some super easy to create gifts bags for all the dads in your life. These would be fun for small kids to make!  These would be great for a dad's birthday, for any occasion and especially for Father's Day.  This is what I made them for.

I used the awesome patterned bags from SRM, a free cut file that I found online and some letter stickers to make these bags. Pop a card or gift card inside and you have a quick but super cute gift for dear ol' dad!

These bags are really easy to recreate and simple enough for the smallest of kids to help with.

I hope you give these gift bags a try and impress dad on his special day!

Christmas Kraft Gift Bags by Giorgia

Hello from Susan!  We have so many wonderful Christmas ideas that I decided to double up on blog posts so we are doing 2 posts today.  The first one was a 12:01 AM and this one is at 12:01 PM!  Still plenty of time to create this fun idea from Giorgia Rossini!

----------------

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here today with you to share a Christmas packaging that's perfect for last minute gift wrapping. I love to create handmade packaging and with SRM bags and stickers it is really quick and easy.  I love SRM kraft bags, they are so versatile and you can decorate them in so many different ways!

Here you can see my gifts: handmade bookmarks (with SRM Stickers!) - I will tell you soon in another post how to make them too, so stay tuned for it - and a mini candy cane. These are for my colleagues.I gathered all my SRM Christmas themed supplies and started having fun!

I decided to use Stickers By The Dozen/Christmas. I wrapped the strips of stickers all around the bag creating a decoration. To close the bag I fold the top and add the round stickers. I decorated the stickers with a twine bow.
I created two similar bags: by changing the position and colors of stickers and twine here they are two cute bags.

And you? How do you wrap your small Christmas presents? I would love to see it!
Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia

Last Minute Gifts! by Michele

Good morning! Michele here with a quick gift idea! I am a school teacher and I like to get all of my coworkers a little "somethin', somethin," without breaking the bank.  And immediately my mind goes to food.  Because who doesn't love food?  I have a basement piled high with alterable items, so I grabbed a bunch of these mini glass jars.

I put two strips of double sided tape and sprinkled them with glitter.  I used my Silhouette to cut the bows and adhere them to the top of the jar.  I placed this cute gingerbread sticker from Stickers by the Dozen, on a piece of vellum and cut it out with a circle punch.  I tucked it under the bow, adhered it in place, and voila!  Easy peasy, lemon squeezie! (I have been teaching 9 year olds a very, very long time!)

Thank you for stopping by!!

Wrap it Up by Jenn

Hello friends Jenn here! How's all the Christmas preparations going? If you are like me time has gotten away from you and before you knew it Christmas has become just days away. I am here today to share a few fun ways to wrap up gifts for the holidays.

Idea #1:

To begin I wrapped my gift in kraft wrap, then used a white dolie and attached it to the corner using some adhesive. I thought a stamped to and from using the   stamp set would be a super cute rustic touch. To finish the packaging and pull a little color into the gift I used simple red jute twine. There you have it a super simple rustic gift wrap idea.

Idea #2:

For this idea it works best to cut your kraft paper to the size of your gift prior to wrapping, so the stamped images are positioned in the right spot and it is obviously much easier to stamp flat. I used the large sentiments stamp Merry and Bright stamp set. Using a red and green ink I stamped the words Merry and Bright on a diagonal for a fun all over pattern. I love using these adorable to from tags on the   sticker page. I stuck the sticker to some leftover kraft paper and fussy cut around to create a tag. For the final finishing touch I used a little black and white bakers twine to pull it all together.

Idea #3

The last idea I will leave you with today is a very sweet romantic packaging idea. I first wrapped my gift once again with kraft paper....if you haven't guess yet I love this stuff!! I attached some gorgeous 4inch lace around the top of the package and added a gold bow. Using the to from tags I once again stuck it to a scrap of kraft paper, fussy cut and punched to add a 3 dimensional tag.

I love how eyes light up when they see beautifully decorated packages, it makes the gift inside just a little more meaningful. I hope this gives you a few more quick very simple ways to be creative in your gift giving this holiday season!

Personalizing Containers with Vinyl by Samantha

Hello! Samantha here today to show you 3 different ways to personalize SRM containers with vinyl. This is a super easy and fun way to take your packaging up a notch.

All you'll need is an SRM clear container or one with a window (like the kraft box on the bottom), some vinyl (I used matte vinyl, metallic vinyl, and holographic vinyl, but any SRM vinyl will work), and a way to cut vinyl (I used a Silhouette Cameo).

You can get into the wedding spirit by personalizing wedding favors or a wedding gift box. A gift card will fit perfectly inside one of these clear rectangular boxes. Layering metallic vinyl give the packaging a fancy look.

Add initials to a box for the perfect packaging for a graduation, birthday, or Father's Day gift. You can use the recipient's school colors or favorite colors, too!

Or, you can just go ahead and add the recipient's full name. Add their nickname and a bit of holographic vinyl to really make it pop. I created the above container with my 3 year old niece in mind!

Weather it's a special occasion, a holiday, or a just because gift, you'll be ready to add a little extra pizazz to your packages with some SRM vinyl.

'Tis the Season to be Jolly! by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today I'm swinging on in to share a sweet little Christmas tag and gift with you!

I started with my tag. I kept things nice and easy, so I just built my tag from the bottom up. I started with my patterned paper, then added a touch of kraft cardstock, along with a doily and dark brown cardstock. Once done, I added my sticker on top. Simple, right?!...

After finishing my tag, I simply used a clear container and added some deep green cardstock to the front and back of my container on the inside of it. Once having that done, fill the container with any treat you like. :) To finish things off, I added my tag to the container using two colors of jute twine. Easy peasy, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for by!
Enjoy your day!

Gift Wrapping by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here today with you to share an idea for a special gift.  I love to create handmade packaging and with SRM bags and stickers it is really quick and easy.  I created a Christmas bag to contain a gift for one of my creative friends (we are a group of girls who meet each month to create projects all together, we have so much fun!)

Here you can see my gift: it is an handmade faux dori (if you are interested in how I made it, you can find the photo tutorial here in my blog.) I gathered all the supplies I needed and started creating my bag. I chose the red polka dot bag because it screams Christmas to me, and the bigger size was just perfect to contain the faux dori.

To close the bag I fold the top, punched two holes and passed red jute through them, then I created a bow.

In a first time I thought to use the white heart paper doily but then I changed my mind: I composed the sentence "ho ho ho, merry Christmas to you!" with some stickers, alternating red and black color. I attached the stickers to white paper and then adhered them on the bag with different angles to create movement.I also added two circular stickers because they reminded me of the polka dots.

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia

Gift Wrapping by Shantaie

Hello!  Shantaie here today to share some gift wrapping ideas!

I'm one of those people who cherish the opportunity to wrap gifts, I make an event of it, and truly find it to be a joyful activity. That being said I know not everyone feels the same way I do, so I thought I would share a couple of ways to add beauty to simple packages that are so pretty that you may just convert.

Let's start with a simple square kraft box Before opening the box add a joy stamp from Big Merry in a row of three with versamark ink and gold embossing powder, heat set and open box. To add a fun ribbon detail I cut a small slit in the box front bottom, and wind around to tie on top

Kraft boxes come in a ton of different sizes and I reccomend have them on hand for every occasion, but I especially stock up before the holidays.

We all love the ease of a gift bag, and if you've never given any thought to flat bags as an easy but beautiful option for gifts allow me to share with you my love of these bags!! They come in many sizes, colors and patterns

Like the box above I used a stamp to add a sentiment and embossed it with gold powder, the gift was added and I folded the top of the bag over, and tied a bow, to that I added a spray of die cut branches and a lovely gold ornament tag with a sticker from Fancy Sentiments Christmas and a spattering of pearl dot accents.

Gift wrapping can be easy if you start with a few simple basic containers, and a little crafty fun!

Christmas Presents! by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today I'm sharing some cute little Christmas presents with you!

How about that wrapping paper?!...I used one of the patterned SRM Sticker bag for my gift wrapping! I started with a large bag and simply cut it open to lay flat. Which in return gave me enough paper to wrap two little presents. Simple, yeah?!

To finish my presents off, I stacked them and used some jute twine to hold everything together. After, I used some fun and festive stickers (which I did a little fussy cutting with) to embellish my presents and tag. Sweet, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

4 Ways to Wrap Gift Cards & A Video Too by Christine

Gift cards are always such a lovely gift to receive but it can be a challenge to figure out how to present them.  Christine joining you and Today I am offering up 4 ways to wrap gift cards that feature the Coffee Plans Stamp.  I really like to give gift cards to places with coffee so this stamp set was perfect for this!  Let's have a look at the four different ways and then I will share a video with you that walks you thru how to make each one!

This first one requires very little patterned paper and can tuck nicely into a card or on top of another gift.

Built around a tag, this one doesn't require a lot of extra supplies either and can easily be added on to something else as well (or hung on the tree!)

This is a bigger one and more of a stand-alone card, making it ideal to stick in the mail!  And you can't miss the inside!

Inside the card pops up to showcase the gift card!  And how fun is that coffee mug stamped with #coffeebreak.  Coffee Plans is such a fun set!

Another stand alone card, this one is constructed easily (despite how it looks) from four circles and a square!  It folds up nicely with a box fold and is a sweet surprise for the recipient.

You can check out the full tutorial on constructing these holders in this video:

Head on over to the SRM Store and get those stamps ready to start your holiday creating!

Today I am making my own wrapping paper.

I am playing with: SRM Stickers

The paper I used is from Ikea. It is a roll of paper for kids to doodle on. First I did all the stamping. It inked up perfectly. Bonus it is super cheap.

Next I cut out each and every little candy sticker from Stickers By the Dozen Take 2 Christmas.  I just love these little candy images.

This paper wrapped perfectly around and now time to add a fun pom pom using The Twinery: Solid Peapod Twine. I looked up on Pinterest to see how to create this fun pom pom and I have to say it was so easy to make.  Got to love Pinterest for tips on how to make stuff.

I thought it needed just a little more so I added this adorable Santa from Jane's Doodles: Tis The Season! and I colored him green.. why not right? I kind of had a green theme going on here so I went with it. Now it is time for you to give this a try.
