Strawberry Stamped Card by Michele

Michele here with a fun strawberry card ensemble!  Like most of you, I am ready for spring! I can't control Mother Nature, but I can get a touch of spring in my craft room! I love that SRM Stickers is carrying stamps by Jane's Doodles! They are so cute and I have been having a grand time using them in my projects! I used this adorable stamp set called Life is Good

I colored each strawberry with Copics, cut them out, and added a coating of glossy accents.  I stamped the jar, gave it a bit of depth using my Copics again. I added some fun leafy paper, a giant gingham bow, and a scattering of sequins.

I recently cleaned out my scrap room and came across a few match boxes.  I thought it might be cute to stick a little sweet treat in there to go with the card.
(Plus I had an extra strawberry....and no one likes wasting a perfectly good strawberry! ;)

St. Patrick's Day Purse Treat by Tessa W.

Isn't giving treats out the best!  Tessa Wise with you today sharing a little treat I made to give out on St. Patrick's Day this year.

SRM Stickers Blog - St. Patrick's Day Purse Treat by Tessa Wise - #saint pat's #clear purse, #twine #stickers #stamps #lables #DIY #janesdoodles

These medium sized Clear Purse Boxes are so fun to fill up!  I wanted it to look like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow so I filled it with some gold covered chocolates and Skittles :)  After it was full of goodies, I started decorating the front.  I went with a fun little cluster of green and gold embellishment on the left side of the handle.

SRM Stickers Blog - St. Patrick's Day Purse Treat by Tessa Wise - #saint pat's #clear purse, #twine #stickers #stamps #lables #DIY #janesdoodles

I placed a strip of green patterned paper cut into a banner shape first.  Next, I pulled a green label sticker from the Labels By The Dozen/Christmas Sticker Sheet to use as my next layer.  Once it was down, I added some green zig zag sticker stitches from the Sticker Stitches/Christmas Sticker Sheet over the banners.

I pulled out the Life is Good Stamp Set by Jane's Doodles next, stamping out the tag and heart.  I cut around it and punched a hole through the top.  I tied a bit of Pea Pod Baker's Twine around the top and finished in a bow.  I also added the Good Luck sentiment from the Sentiment/Thinking of You Sticker Sheet.  I added the tag to the purse along with some gold sequins to finish off the look:

Reusable Laminated Planner Tags by Lorena

Hello friends! It's Lorena today with a savvy idea for those of you who love the fast growing trend of planners but still would like to keep things simple and easy. SRM's stickers are fantastic for decorating planners. I specially love the Labels by the Dozen, they come in lots of fantastic colors and I'm sure you'll find a color scheme that fits your planner needs :)

I love the freedom using a plain notebook as a planner gives me. Sometimes I may need two pages for a day, and sometimes half a page will do. So this idea will work perfectly with a plain notebook, but is still good for a standard planner with dates and such. So let me show you what I did!

SRM Stickers Blog - Reusable Laminated Planner Tags by Lorena - #planner #labels #stickers #srmpress #srmstickers #DIY

In the pic you can see my brand new reusable planner labels sitting on a plain Moleskine notebook (a lined one). I went with the colorful Labels by the Dozen/Bright Blank. To begin with, I adhered the labels to sturdy cardstock, and then used an alphabet stamp set to stamp the categories I needed. Once the stamping was done, I trimmed the labels and laminated them. See where I'm going?

Now I have a set of laminated labels that I can switch around daily according to my particular needs. The trick is to use a strip of repositionable dry adhesive on the back of the labels. New day, new disposition. I was able to get two labels out of the biggest ones by cutting them in two pieces.

SRM Stickers Blog - Reusable Laminated Planner Tags by Lorena - #planner #labels #stickers #srmpress #srmstickers #DIY

I love how this turned out! If your planner has already a color scheme inside, maybe you'd like to go with Labels by the Dozen/Black & White. They go with everything!

Oh, another idea: you can also use them on a dry erase board, or even adhere some magnet sheet on the back and use them on a magnetic board. Lots of options, really.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

Serendipity Stationery Set by Tessa Buys

Hello! Tessa Buys here today with a stationery set designed to send friends some warm and colorful greetings.

SRM Stickers Blog - Serendipity Stationery Set by Tessa Buys - #cards #card set #DIY #A7 #box #glassine bag #border #stickers #gift

I started by creating three cards using the Serendipity line by American Crafts and SRM's Pastel Borders stickers. I used the same template for each card to save time, but alternated the patterned papers for variety. The green "hello beautiful" border sticker made the perfect sentiment.

Next, I filled an SRM glassine bag with color-coordinated sequins. Before I seal a card in an envelope, I like to add the sequins like confetti. I also included three self-adhesive envelope seals punched from left over patterned paper.

Last, I cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the back of an A7 clear card box, mostly just to look pretty and serve as a solid background to the stationery when packaged. I added a pen that I purchased from the dollar bin at Target and now I have a sunny and colorful gift to give to a friend who likes to send happy mail.

I see many more stationery and card sets in my crafty future. SRM's clear card boxes are just the thing to package handmade notes in a special way. Enjoy your day!

So {LUCKY} to Have Ewe by Shannon

Sometimes less is more.
Sometimes you want to say a lot.
Sometimes you're bursting with love and want to tell that person how lucky you feel.

This card does all of the above. Massive impact, simple design. I'm in shock that it came out of me, my fingers, my thought process, because if you know me, you know that I am incapable of leaving white space anywhere...maybe it's the water colors, maybe it's the focus on the sentiment...maybe it's the amazing stamps...whatever it is, it works! I didn't want to add anything else...not even a sequin...it almost pains me to even type that.

I created this card with an upcoming holiday that
❤ very much!
You guessed it, St. Patrick's Day! It's a big deal in our house!
I know so many people who are so deserving of this card.

St. Patrick's Day Doily Banner by Christine

I have always wanted to make a banner using doilies and when I saw the new green ones that SRM has I knew it was gonna have to be a St. Patrick's Day banner!  Christine joining you today with a DIY banner that uses SRM's gorgeous green and gold doilies! This project makes me really wish I had a beautiful fireplace mantle - since I don't we have it hanging up in our kitchen entryway.

SRM Stickers Blog - St. Patrick's Day Doily Banner by Christine - #banner #stpatrickesday #doilies #golddoilies #punchedpieces #twine #DIY

This was super easy to create - let me share with you how I did it!  I used foam adhesive and layered a Gold Lace Doily on top of a Green Lace Doily.  They layer perfectly because the Gold ones are four inches and the Green ones are six inches.

SRM Stickers Blog - St. Patrick's Day Doily Banner by Christine - #banner #stpatrickesday #doilies #golddoilies #punchedpieces #twine #DIY

I used gold vellum to cut out stars and attached those to Large White Punched Pieces.  These again layered perfectly onto the doilies as they are 2 1/2 inches in size.  Adding letters to spell out LUCKY and some gemstones was the final touch.

SRM Stickers Blog - St. Patrick's Day Doily Banner by Christine - #banner #stpatrickesday #doilies #golddoilies #punchedpieces #twine #DIY

I hung them on a piece of Solid Peapod Twine using clothespins. If the look of clothespins isn't your thing or you don't have any - you could just string the twine through the doilies and make a great banner too!

I love it when companies make such versatile products - good for not just paper crafts but home decor too!  We'd love to see what kinds of projects you are making using SRM Stickers goodies!

SRM Stickers Blog - A2 Card Set Kraft Window Box Shantaie Fowler - #cards #gift set #stickers #borders #twine #doilies #kraft

Birthday cards are always good to have on hand and ready to go! This set of four cards is wrapped up in the A2 Kraft Window Box complete with envelopes. I love the Birthday Take 2 stickers by the dozen, they are so vivid and fun!

SRM Stickers Blog - A2 Card Set Kraft Window Box Shantaie Fowler - #cards #gift set #stickers #borders #twine #doilies #kraft

I cut 2 of the 4" doilies in half and used them to anchor the Borders and elements of the cards, each one is comprised of the same few parts but in varied colors. I added a punched piece behind the birthday sticker to resemble a prize ribbon!

I double wrapped each card with
striped twine and a bow for a little touch of softness that is still not too feminine :)

Spring Cards by Christine

Is there any better time to work on Spring cards than during a huge Midwest snow storm? I am sitting through one right now and working on these cards definitely warmed me up!  Christine joining you today to share a couple of new spring cards.

SRM Stickers Blog - Spring Cards by Christine - #cards #spring #stickers #punchedpieces #clearstamps #janesdoodles

I'm still crazy about the gorgeous gold doilies and so I decided to combine them with some pink to spring it up!  I added a flower from the We've Got Your Stickers Plus/Thanks set.  Putting that onto vellum and cutting it out allowed me to keep it from blending in with the whites too much.

A "Happy Spring" circle from the Sentiment/Spring set atop a Small White Punched Piece help make it even more clear what season this is for.  Although with a few color changes and swapping out the stickers you could totally make this into a Valentine's card or for just about any season!

SRM Stickers Blog - Spring Cards by Christine - #cards #spring #stickers #punchedpieces #clearstamps #janesdoodles

SRM has so many great stamps now from Jane's Doodles - I just had to play with one set for a Spring card.  I chose to use the Doodle Flower Stamp Set.  I stamped with black onto subtle patterned paper.

SRM Stickers Blog - Spring Cards by Christine - #cards #spring #stickers #punchedpieces #clearstamps #janesdoodles

I then fussy cut the flowers out and layered them onto each other with foam adhesive so I'd have some dimension.  The simple sentiment comes again from the Sentiment/Spring set!

Sunshine and warmth are on the horizon - in the meantime I'll keep crafting it!

Watercolored Owl Card by Stacey

Hello, SRM Stickers friends!
Stacey here today with a watercolored take on the new stamp line, Jane's Doodles, at SRM Stickers!

SRM Stickers Blog - Watercolored Owl Card by Stacey - #card #birthday #stamped #janesdoodles #owl #stickers #doilies #gold #watercolor

I stamped the fabulously detailed owl from SRM's new Jane's Doodles Clear Stamp/Wise Owl with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  I watercolored the owl and background with yellow, orange and green diluted distress inks and let dry.

The fun part of watercoloring is it allows you to get a little messy, er, artsy!  I diluted the distress inks more or less, creating different shades on the owl scene.

SRM Stickers Blog - Watercolored Owl Card by Stacey - #card #birthday #stamped #janesdoodles #owl #stickers #doilies #gold #watercolor

I added a couple of wiggly eyes and Stickers by the Dozen/Birthday Birdie across the top of the focal panel.  There's a peek of one of the Gold Lace Doilies - 4" Round to add some shine.

I hope you are inspired to add some watercoloring to your stamped and embossed images for an artsy look, too!

All About the GREEN by Annette

Good Morning sweet SRM Friends...
Annette Allen here with you today to share a fun way to use Vinyl, in plenty of time for St. Patrick's Day!

SRM Stickers Blog - All About the GREEN by Annette - #vinyl #stpatricks #altered #stickers #transfertape

and Vinyl Transfer Tape AND SRM Stickers Birthday Sticker Sentiments I have gone a little Irish. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut these fun images that can be found in the Silhouette library. The jar is from my local craft store. Using the Vinyl Transfer Tape makes it so easy to place the Vinyl Sheets on most surfaces. Plus makes for fun projects.

SRM Stickers Blog - All About the GREEN by Annette - #vinyl #stpatricks #altered #stickers #transfertape

I also added this striped straw which I might add is totally fun.
It is all about the green.

Happy Crafting!

Love Me Card Tutorial by Cassonda

Hi everyone from Cassonda! I'm here for a special Saturday blog post for Valentine's Day, my most favorite day of the year so I'm sharing a fun Valentine's Day card with you today. I love finding a new use for old supplies. Brings back memories and makes my art extra special. Let's get started….

SRM Stickers Blog - Love Me Card by Cassonda - #valentines #card #doilies #stickers

I wanted to create a card that flipped open and revealed a surprise inside. I started by attaching a piece of pattern paper to the top of the card with some stitching. A quick way to make sure it stays attached. The front is adorned with all kinds of fun stuff....more stitching, ribbon, twine, flowers, felt, punched hearts, part of a SRM 4" white doily....see those cute banners? Those were made by cutting the strip off the pattern paper. You know the piece you would normally throw away? Keep them...almost all of them have some kind of wording that can be used again and again. For this card I cut the Loved from a Fancy Pants strip and the Love Me from a My Minds Eye strip and made them
into a banner shape.

SRM Stickers Blog - Love Me Card by Cassonda - #valentines #card #doilies #stickers

Here's a look at the front flap opened up a little bit. The last part was to add some colorful valentine seed beads to the scallops. I applied some wet glue along the scallops and poured the seed beads on top. Then I walked away and left it overnight to dry. The next day I tapped off the excess beads and this is what it looked like. So pretty...and just what I was wanting.

SRM Stickers Blog - Love Me Card by Cassonda - #valentines #card #doilies #stickers

And finally to add my message! Open up the top flap and here's what you see. These clear stickers from SRM's Stickers by the Dozen
Valentine are just what I needed. I love that they can be placed anywhere. I also embellished the bottom half with some pattern paper for a pocket, an arrow sticker and some hearts. Slip a gift card into the pocket and my card is done.

SRM Stickers Blog - Love Me Card by Cassonda - #valentines #card #doilies #stickers

I hope you enjoyed looking at this card and will make something similar of your own for any time of year. It's really easy! Pull out your older supplies and get creative.

 Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
