Spring/Love Layout by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here.
Today I am here to show you a spring layout (we are still in winter days but I really needed to think about sunny and warm day, since here it is rainy and foggy!)

So I printed this picture of me and hubby last year on holiday in beautiful Tuscany and created a colorful springy layout.  As background I used a photographic paper and I decorated the layout with many SRM Stickers!

I adhered strips of different colors to the background paper. I used many types of FreeStyle stickers, then I added the picture and decorated it. I also used the lovely quote from Say It With Stickers/Outdoors sheet.

Some stickers are adhered directly on the paper, some others are adhered on white cardstock and fussy cut.  For some of them I used foam tape to make them pop.

I also used some stickers to create my title "wonderful vacation". I added sequins to  little extra sparkle (you know, I love sequins!)

I hope you liked my layout and wish you a good day.

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia

Monochromatic Winter Layout by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here.
This year I spent New Year's Eve and some other days on holidays in Budapest and I
couldn't wait to scrap those pictures!

So I grabbed my SRM stickers winter themed products and created a monochromatic layout (please take a look to this other monochromatic layout too that I shared on my last post, if you missed it!).
Also this one is made in blue tones, because they remind me of winter!

I went with a vertical design: I added two strips of paper to a light blue cardstock and I simulated stitches with the awesome SRM Sticker Stitches.

I adhered some stickers to white cardstock and used them as embellishments. I used two paper clips to add them to the pictures.

I created a sort of journal under the chipboard title with some sticker. For the layout I used also SRM calendar stickers. I find them really useful to add dates to my LOs!

I hope you liked my layout and wish you a good day.

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia

Mixed Media Fall Decor & Video by Karen

Hello!  Karen here today with a mixed media project and a video too.

I love fall and can't help creating a project or two featuring fall's rich colors. Today I'm sharing a fun mixed media project with lots of layers!
Watch this video to see this project come together.

The finished project with all its yummy layers, including: paper, paint, washi tape, clear stickers, stamps, vinyl, and jute twine.

I'm ready to decorate for fall. Are you, too?

Using Patterned Bags Layouts by Samantha

Hello! Samantha with you today. If you're like me, sometimes you have more photos than you know what to do with. Today I'm going to show you how you can use SRM's patterned bags to get more photos an on layout.

Every year I have multiple camping photos to scrap. Sometimes the photos feel new and fun, and sometimes they feel a bit redundant. However, they tell the story of our summer and I want to scrap them anyways.

I start by pulling all of the photos I want to use. Then I pick my favorite one (like this group shot of us hiking up a tower) and make it my focal photo. All the other photos will go in the patterned bag. I build the layout around my focal photo, and use the patterned bag as a layering piece like I would a piece of patterned paper. Adhere your bag directly to the layout and layer your photo on top.

When your layout is finished, add your extra photos to the patterned bag. I like to back my photos with a bit of card stock, and I used Year of Memories Stickers to add tabs to the tops of my photos. These aren't necessary, but add a fun design element and help draw your eye to the fact that there are photos in the patterned bag.

I also used stickers from Calendar Companions,  Stickers by the Dozen ValentinePlanner Icon Stickers, and We've Got Your Borders Bright to embellish my layout.

The best part is, SRM carries a wide variety of sizes, colors, and patterns in patterned bags, so you're sure to find something that works well on any layout. The small bags (like I used here) work great for 4x6 or smaller photos. The medium patterned bags work well for 5x7 photos, and the large bags are perfect for 8x10 photos.

Using patterned bags on a layout is a fun a versatile way to add more photos to your layout!

June Planner Pages by Melanie

How is it June already? 2017 is going by so quickly. Good thing I have my planner to keep me on track :). Melanie here today to share some planner fun!

I gathered some SRM supplies together to work on my June pages. I appreciate how easy it is to match the stickers, stamps, and pens. Plus, because I didn't need any tools, this project was great to complete on-the-go while waiting for my son at baseball practice.

It is fun to mix and match the stamps and stickers together for an event. I also used the Le Pens to trace over the stamp lines to give more color to the page. With their fine tip, this works really well. And the fine tip is helpful for coloring in small details on stamped images.

Now that the pages are done, I am ready to head into June . . . well, maybe not quite. :)

Goodie Bags for 3 Spring Occasions by Samantha

Hello! Samantha with you today with a project using the new patterned bags. I have a bit of Spring fever, so I thought I'd style goodie bags for 3 Spring occasions.

I used the same layout for embellishing all of my bags, but as you can see, they all have a very different feel.

My first bag was decorated for Opening Day! Whether you'll be headed out to the ball park or watching from home this decorated bag is a great way to turn peanuts or popcorn into a special treat. I used a blue zigzag patterned bag, layered on a circle cut from a black striped patterned bag. I embellished with baseball stickers from Take 2 Stickers By The Dozen Baseball and a 2017 sticker from Year of Memories 2017. I sealed the bag shut with a sticker from Calendar Companion

My next bag is a Spring themed thank you bag. It's great for a small teacher or hostess gift. You can slip in a gift card, a handmade bar of soap and some lotion, or some pretty nail polish. For this bag I started with a striped bag. Then I added a 4" White Doily. I embellished the doily and the bag with stickers from We've Got Your Stickers Thanks

For my last bag I created a Spring birthday bag. You could slip a little birthday treat in here or a gift card to go out to eat, some tea bags, or even some packs of seeds. I started with a bright green striped patterned bag, then I layered on a circle cut from the pink polka dot patterned bag. I embellished with stickers from Take 2 Stickers By The Dozen Birthday and Sentiment Happy Birthday. I sealed the bag shut with a sticker from We've Got Your Sticker Happy

...and there you have it: goodie bags for 3 Spring occasions. I love how these patterned bags can make a little gift extra special! What would you stick in these patterned bags?

The Planner sticker sheet has great icons to use to indicate important things to remember--from doctor appointments to Daylight Savings to meeting with friends.

St. Patty's Day Tubes by Samantha

Hello! Samantha here with you today. We love St. Patty's Day at our house. I have some Irish ancestry, so we make sure to do it up right. This year I thought it would be fun to use the SRM tubes to make some pot of gold and rainbow favors.

When using the clear tubes, I always like to start off with some cute tags. I used the scalloped circles Punched Pieces in black, blue, and green to created my tags.

I think the both sides of the tag should be equally cute, so I added a Happy St. Patty's Day to the front. On the back I either used the shamrock sticker from the Calendar Companion stickers, or I stamped a shamrock using the heart stamp from the Birthday Plans stamp set

For my rainbow tubes I used the long, narrow Magic Wand Tube. Skittles work really well in them! 7 of each color of Skittle will fill them up.

For my pots of gold Tubes I added Rolos to the Mini Tubes. 7 Rolos will fill up these tubes perfectly. I thought they needed something more, so I added a little green Sticker Stitches Border sticker to the bottom.

I finished up with attaching my tags with a little blue or green jute twine. Sláinte! and I hope you have a wonderful St. Patty's.

January 2017 Planner Pages by Melanie

Happy New Year! Melanie joining you today with some planner fun!  I am looking forward to 2017 and hope you are as well.

My planner definitely helps keep me on track for a more successful year. Usually I only add color to my weekly pages because, well, this is what my monthly pages end up looking like . . .  The days are packed . . . but . . . Blah.

So, to start the new year off a little more brightly, I used SRM stickers to give my January planner layout a splash of color.

(Trust me, my sharpened #2 pencil was poised to write in work schedules, appointments, lessons, sports activities, social events, etc. as soon as these pictures were taken. But now I'll have some color amongst all the lead writing).

The "A Year to Remember" Calendar Companion sticker sheet is perfect for planners and calendars. The little icons fit perfectly on special dates or days to remember.

I love the Freestyle stickers and their funky shapes. They add just the right amount of color and style to my pages.

To add some finishing touches, I used the 2017 Year of Memories sticker and black sticker stitches (I think I use these on every project).

I love to see how you complete your planner pages on the SRM's Facebook Planner Sticker Fun page. Thanks in advance for sharing your projects!
