Patriotic Parade Day #1

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays.  I live in a town that has a fun run, parade and spectacular fireworks so it's truly an all day celebration.

Today I'm sharing with you some of my all time favorite 4th of July projects from our design team members past and present.  Sit back, relax, enjoy!
And by the way…there's still time to create some of these projects for your celebration! :)

A trio of tubes by Juliana Michaels.
Stickers, Twine and Tubes.  Super cute and easy to create.

Patriotic Magic Wand by Tessa Buys filled with candy and topped with streamers.
Perfect for taking to a parade!

Tube invitation from Jan Tatomir.   Now that's inventive!

A patriotic place setting from Sherry Cartwright who was a guest designer using SRM's glassine bags, stickers and twine!  YUM!

A patriotic party favor from Shelly Kurth.  Kraft pillow box, punched pieces, stickers and twine!  Love this combination!

And for dessert, a fun container from Shantaie Fowler all fancied up with stickers, twine, ribbons and lots of glitter!

There's still time to create these projects.  Just click on the designer's name and you will find more details about how to make it.

Thanks for joining us today and do come back tomorrow when we will have more patriotic inspiration!

It's Summertime! by Michele

Wooohoo! It is officially the start of summer!  There is nothing I love better than my pool, heat, and a good book to read....and of course a hippo drinking lemonade at the beach! ;)

I colored this gal in using my Polychromo pencils.  I inked the edges of the card in a soft blue and yellow.  I then glued real sand using glossy accents.

I used SRM's Sentiment-Summer to finish off the card....along with a bit of pink twine and sequins.

So glad you stopped by and I hope I brought a smile to your face!

★Hooray USA!★ by Shannon

Hi all, Shannon here, July 4th is coming up!

This holiday is so much to our family. It's my sweet girl Mackenzie's favorite holiday. She loves fireworks. Karl loves watching her happy face light up and listening to her laughter. Patrick loves all of the "foods" he can eat in celebratory amounts of glee...though Patrick just loves food in general right now, he's 13.

I love stars and red, white and blue and all the day symbolizes.

I created a 5X7 frame for my mantle celebrating the USA. I used a ton of SRM goodness. There is A LOT of SRM goodness to choose from!

Here is the frame, it's actually a "shadow box" type frame, which works perfect for someone like me who layers "all the things"…☺

If you take a closer look at the details, you'll see twine, labels, sticker stitches, borders, tiny borders, patterned vinyl and even sequins.

New Product Introduction - Coloring Markers, Watercolor Pencils & Blender Brushes - Day #3

So excited to share with you a new line of markers and pencils that are perfect for Coloring Books, Bible Journaling, Stamping, Card Making and more!

There's a wonderful variety of markers and pencils so let's take a look at them all!

First up is the ColorIn Marker.  They are markers in brush and fine point that are blendable colors for your favorite coloring craftiness!

They come in two sizes:  4 pack and 10 pack.
And they come in a variety of color combinations:
Primary, Bright, Pastel, Natural, Bold and Neon.
These markers are water-based dye ink.

Next we have the ColorIn Watercolor Pencils along with WaterIn Brushes that are a great tool for controlled blending, shading and highlighting.   First use the Color In pencils and then use the Blender Marker or a wet brush to give it a watercolor look.

I love this next product called Color In Watercolor Twist.  It come in 3 different options:  12, 24 or 36 pieces.  Just twist the pencil to feed the lead out!  Color first with the Watercolor Twist and then use a blender, water brush or damp paint brush to create a watercolor effect.  Brush included with set.

And finally we have the LePlume II, another great choice for adult coloring books.  It's a double ended marker with a brush tip for covering small and large areas and a fine tip for detailing.  It's water-based dye ink and comes in two sizes of sets:  6 piece and 12 piece assortments.

And there's a blender marker available for this product too!

So now for the big question….  which one is your favorite?   Hard to choose, don't you think?

Come see us again tomorrow for another new product on our week long introduction of new products.  See you soon!
