Christmas Decor Tray by Melanie

Hello! Melanie here today to share a tray I decorated for the upcoming Christmas holiday. I used two different SRM Press sticker sheets: Quick Cards/Peace and Fancy Sentiments/Christmas.

The clear backing helps the stickers to blend seamlessly with the patterned papers.

Adding a few embellishments here and there completes the look for simple, yet classic decoration for our home this holiday season.

Happy Holidays!

Teacher Shaker Card by Michele

Good morning friends!
Michele here with a card that is near and dear to my heart!
I am a 4th grade teacher and I love to recognize other teachers for the hard work and dedication they give every single day.
My children were blessed to have some pretty remarkable educators in their lives!

I created a shaker card using oval dies and the little apple stamp from the Healthy Plans Clear Planner Stamp.   The apple was stamped repeatedly around the frame, colored in with Copics and given a coat of glossy accents.  Once it was dry, I used the White Reminisce Gel pen to add a highlight to each apple.

I filled the center with coordinating colors!  I used the teacher sticker from the Quick Cards Back to School Stickers.

Thank you so much for popping in today!
Have a great day!!

Simple Card Sets by Shantaie

Hello!  Shantaie here with you today to share some ideas for quick cards.
Some days what we need is a quick card to go, or better yet a quick set of cards at your fingertips!  I'm famous in my circle for being late...(fashionably or otherwise) and these cards a real lifesaver for those times that I have got to get out the door!

I started with a beautifully simple white card base and embossed each one with an embossing folder.I punched a 1 3/8" circle in the lower right corner and placed a round sticker on the inside of the card. I added the matching sentiment, and wrapped a length of striped twine to make a bow.

To make the set complete I placed four envelopes, and my cards into a clear card box, and added a folded 4" doily and a sticker sentiment border along the top.

When you have such a pretty and simple set of cards ready to go or ready to give, life is truly good!!!

Lucky, Lucky Mack by Shannon

St. Patrick's Day is almost here!
In the Morgan house, that means shenanigans and all the beauty of the holiday. We celebrate dear St. Patrick, his life and works and we also celebrate being Irish, our heritage and our faith.
This layout, celebrates Miss Mackenzie Margaret Catherine (say that 5 times fast!) and the simple serendipity of being able to find Paczki's! (Yes, I know these are Polish, we're lucky enough to be Polish too!) This is a big thing! A big, simple thing!

SRM Stickers has so many awesome options for celebrating St. Paddy's Day available in the store, including some new items that are wonderful and versatile.

You'll find stickers, jute twine, twine, punched paper pieces, lace, bags and pens on this layout:

This layout is all about the details, I like to layer and add unexpected things. Here's a close up of the left hand corner:

The brand new lace is gorgeous! It folds and lays perfectly to create an elegant effect on this layout, it draws your eye right to Mack:

Here's hoping you have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day (if you celebrate)! "May the dreams you hold dearest be the ones which come true, and the kindness you spread keep returning to you!"

Erin Go Bragh!

February Plans by Shantaie

Happy days ahead in February 2017! Shantaie here with some Planner fun! Don't you just love a fresh new month to fill in activities, goals, and maybe even a day of downtime?! Planners are the key to a more effective week for me, I have tried weeks of just "winging it" and I can tell you I forget too many things, and in general find myself feeling like my life gets a little out of control. A pretty or super fun page also keeps me energized and upbeat! My February page is bursting with Valentine happiness!

I will fill in my daily to do and activity lists as the month goes by in my weekly section but I can reference my master just by flipping to the tab!

I started with that pink tab, and a row of Valentine border stickers  and a 2017 year of memories sticker to top it off, I spritzed the top and bottom corners with glimmer mist is taffy and peppermint. I added a hand lettered quote in a watered down pink paint.....I need more practice, but I do love the look!

My page features more ideas, and guidelines for my days, as well as hard plans, but not the daily appointments, and to do's, this will give me a great source of energy and a reminder that life is more than grocery trips and work!

I used several stamps from the
Healthy PlansToday Tomorrow To Do, and Birthday Plans sets, and used watercolor twist pencils to color them in. I also tried my hand at brush lettering with brush point markers that was fun, and very easy, I will be using them a lot I'm sure!

All you need is love, that and a few SRM stickers to make a fun loving filled planner!!! The Valentine stickers I used are, Quick Cards Love,  Stickers by the Dozen Valentine, We've Got Your Sticker Sweet,  Fancy Sticker Sentiments Love and Quick Cards Be MineI already want to make my March calendar, and I look forward to seeing this on my desk inspiring me each and every day!!!  I'm hooked!

Thanksgiving Decor by Melanie

Hi! Melanie with you today to share something I've made for our home.  I love Thanksgiving--for us it involves gathering with family, sharing memories and making new ones, and (of course) delicious food!

This divided tray has been hanging out in my craft area for awhile, just patiently waiting to be put to use. The individual spaces are perfect for fitting SRM stickers!

I started by choosing some papers with colors that reflect the Fall season here. After cutting them to size and playing with the spaces, I picked out different SRM stickers that fit Thanksgiving.  And some Burlap ribbon too!

To bring in some texture, I filled two of the spaces with burlap. Then I added some leaves from the yard that fell from our trees and a die cut pumpkin. The tag is finished off with Gold Shimmer Twine.

A few weeks ago a friend had some cotton bolls in her kitchen. I loved the look and got some from her. They add a beautifully different look to our entryway and now the tray is the finishing touch.

It is a blessing to have so much to be thankful for. I'm looking forward to seeing this reminder each day.

October Planner Pages by Shantaie

I am a planner. True story.
I am not organized by nature and work quite hard work to keep track of my daily and weekly tasks...well I don't work hard anymore because planners keep me on track and more productive than I ever thought I was possible of.

I used to keep a "to do list" with lines and line of things to do {more busy work than actual productivity} There are tons of planners, and articles on how to use planners, I have read more than my share of them,  but......I have a secret to confess. I have not made my planners fun or used my creative supplies before now!!! { I know!!!!}

How is it possible that a long time paper crafter like me has resisted this awesome creative outlet? Fear. I was kind of intimidated by the idea of pairing my super structured planner with fun and art. {trembles in her chair}

This is my very first attempt, and although I could have reworked it to be perfect for this assignment, I chose to show you how easy it is, and even though I'm not a pro page planner designer just yet, I'm still super happy with it!!!

Planner stamps, SRM stickers, and LePlume markers made my page quick, fun, and useful.  Here's a list of the SRM stickers and stamps I used:

There's this hashtag...#handmadeisbestmade
I believe this.

I also believe in simple kindness like thank you notes.
 ❤

There's something to be said about a handmade card for someone. Kindness matters. ❤

Here's each card in no particular order.

Stickers and stamps are a great combo. ❤

Little Borders can add a perfect detail to your cards.

I like to use Little Borders as "washi tape" and Sticker Stitches abundantly! ❤

Thank you for letting me share with you today, as always your support means so much!

Kraft Easter Boxes by Shantaie

Welcome to the SRM blog I'm Shantaie and today I'm sharing a couple of Easter treat containers that are a sweet to look at as the candy inside!

I have several things that I keep in stock at all times, white bags, twine, extra tape and kraft boxes! Kraft boxes are pretty enough to use alone in a pinch but I find them perfect for adding pretty elements to for any season or reason. I have transformed a 3X3 kraft box into a sweet little Easter basket with patterned papers, and Say it with Stickers Easter stickers and Sticker Stitches, plus a folded doily behind that hoppy bunny.

This envelope kraft box is layered in pretty papers and swiped with a touch of white paint to soften the color just a bit, we all love the subtle hues of spring, and that pop of black from the adorable Easter Quick Cards sticker is so striking! I topped a delicate doily with an embossed egg and glittered chick nestled in the grass.  A tiny row of Sticker Stitches along the bottom just makes me smile!

Created as a set for my niece, Easter is sure to soon be her favorite time of year just like her Aunt :)  Consider kraft boxes for favors, treats, and gifts not only for Easter but for any occasion you have coming up!

Planner Pages by Christine

Hi SRM fans!  Christine joining you today to share a couple of my planner spreads.  I've been searching for just the right planner.  I came to a realization that I needed a family one and then one just for me.  So today I am going to share with you my family one and how I used lots of SRM Stickers and Stamps in it!

This is my spread for the second week of November.  It was a crazy week as we were traveling for part of it! I used several different sets of stickers on here as well as stamp!

This was a pretty awesome half of the week!  As you can see on the left side I created a list of out of the norm things I needed to do.  This was super helpful.  Now if you are wondering about my areas that are covered up with patterned paper....those I have decided will be where I have nothing planned.  Each time I have one of those I am going to add in a heart from the Life is Good Stamp Set.  I will have those there as a reminder that I have a time out from anything and I should use those times to love on my family!

Sticker Stitches are an absolute staple for this type of hobby.  I'm going to be going through a lot of sticker stitches! I was particularly into the black ones this month! I added a "Happy" sticker from the Happy Quick Card Set.  The Calendar Companion sticker set had a couple of perfect additions as well!

With nothing planned for Saturday I took some artistic liberty and just had fun adding the November from Calendar Months/Large Snappy and the leaves!  A personal touch is added with the Have a Ball Basketball and Say It With Stickers Mini Piano

Of course there are more Sticker Stitches and Baby Blue Little Borders (coming in January).

My second spread is for a more normal week in our house and is packed with my writing!  For this one I used a lot of Sticker Stitches and the Silver & White Little Borders.

I used a tag stamp from the same Life is Good stamp set to fill some white space.

I also added in some faith statements from one of my faves, the Shine Your Light set. I'll work that one in where ever I can because it is so inspiring!

I used Sticker Stitches as a border for my morning, afternoon, and evening sections and I really like the way that worked out!
