Today I'm sharing some simple Christmas ornaments with you! I think these would be great special gift for someone, too! :)

I kept things very simple. I started with die cutting my snowflakes in three different sizes. For the smallest snowflake I used a silver glitter cardstock and the two bigger ones white cardstock. After, assembled them together. 

Once done, I added my SRM sticker to the center. In this case, joy. I only added my sticker to one side and left the backside showing on the silver glitter snowflake. After, I punched a hole at the top of my snowflake and added some jute twine. Simple, yeah?!...

Also, giving this special gift to someone, you can easily pop them into a patterned glassine bag! ;)

Shaker Christmas Ornament by Michele

Good morning my crafty friends!  I know today is Halloween but it's beginning to feel a lot like tie to make some Christmas crafts.   Michele here with something fun for the holidays!  It is hard to believe how fast this year is flying by!  Christmas is just around the corner!

Every year I make ornaments.  Some I give away and one of them I keep.  My tree is full of ornaments I've made...along with my kids's ornaments from when they were little!

I created this ornament with 2 dies with an oval cut out of the window.  I used the Fancy Sentiments Sticker to place right over my acetate window and trimmed the excess off. 

The ornament was cut using water color paper and given a coating of Tim Holtz inks.  I spritzed it with water for a fun effect! I topped it with a poinsettia colored with Copic markers, leaves, silver jingle bells, and silver twine.

We are offering a special post today to wish you a Merry Christmas!

Michele here just popping in to share a Christmas shaker ornament!

I used two sized dies and adhered acetate and foam tape to the back.  

The poinsettia was cut from water color paper and given a wash of pinks and greens.  I added detailing to the petals with a white gel pen.

I added gold beads to the center of the flower, a bit of pink twine, and a sentiment from SRM's, We've Got Your Border sticker collection.

This ornament was pretty easy to make!! I created this ornament using Quick Cards/Merry , We've Got Your Sticker/Merry and Baker's Twine/Gold Shimmer!  Easy peasy lemon squeezy!!! Good morning my crafty friends!  Michele here with a fun and easy ornament! I am always looking for cute gifts to give my daughter's teachers and therapists without breaking the bank. 

I was rummaging around in my craft closet when a box of transparencies fell out at me.  (Along with quite a few other supplies....my room is a complete disaster! LOL!)

That's when I had a light bulb moment!

Cut two circles out of acetate, sew them together using ribbon or twine, and just before closing them up, add a scoopful of sequins and clear beads. 

I used the Warm Wishes set by Jane's Doodles for the front of my ornament. 

They were colored with Copic markers. The scarf was colored separately, cut out, and given a coating of glossy accents. 

Each ornament was color coordinated with matching jingle bells and a bit of ribbon and twine. 

These were easy to make, and now my mind is thinking of other shapes I could create! ;)

Christmas Reindeer Ornament and Gift Tag by Angi

Merry Christmas SRM fans!

I made an ornament and gift tag using the Stickers by the Dozen - Christmas set.  You can use it on just about everything during the holidays. 

I even used a sticker on a wood piece this time around. I purchased it at my local craft store. I simply added a reindeer embellishment and sequins. The sticker stays on smoothly on the wood too.

I didn't stop there. I also used a sticker from the same set to make a little gift tag. Be sure to grab a kraft box and doilies too. They coordinate so well with DIY gift tags.

I love playing with all the SRM Christmas themed products!

Clear Container Christmas Ornament by Juliana

Hello SRM Fans, it's Juliana here and today I'm sharing a fun and festive Christmas ornament that you can easily create using some of your favorite SRM Stickers Clear Containers. As you will see, gift boxes aren't just for gifts!

To create this ornament, I selected the Box Rectangle Clear Container. I then poked a hole in the center of the lid and tied a piece of twine to use for hanging the ornament after I was finished decorating it.

Next, I placed a small bottle brush tree inside the box and glued it to the bottom of the box. To give it a more festive feel, I added some faux snow and glitter.

After closing the box, I added a couple of border stickers from the We've Got Your Border / Christmas set. The final touch was the addition of a red bow to the top of the box.

I always love creating Christmas ornaments. They make wonderful gifts that both family and friends can treasure for years to come!

Jane's Doodles: Tis The Season!

I found these cute wood tags and adhered a White Lace Doilies (4" round) to it.  Trim the extra lace around the tag.

Next I stamped the images from Jane's Doodles: Tis The Season! on a scrap piece of card-stock.  

Color, trim and set aside.

Got to have some fun snow on this cute ornament.

You can buy this at any craft store in the Christmas section. 

Time to piece it all together.

Choose your favorite SRM Stickers and adhere to the ornament.

The stickers stick perfectly.. make sure and trim around the ornament.

Using foam adhesives pop those fun colored images.

I used May Arts burlap string for hanging the ornaments and you are done.

Simple and Sweet.

★{May Your Days Be Merry & Bright…}★ by Shannon

Christmas is coming and there's nothing better than a homemade project. Shannon Morgan here today to get you started on your Christmas crafting!  The ornament I'm sharing today can double as a money holder or sweet treat holder.  You can present it as is...or leave it for someone to find nestled in the branches of the tree Christmas morning!

I'm going to show you how to create this cute ornament with some really great tips! 

It's an ornament that packs in a lot of detail, but is simple and clean!  I've given you a little tutorial on this project below.

Want to know how to create this little cutie?  Read on for a step by step tutorial! It's like taking a class with me guiding you all the way!  Click on the photos to see a larger image.

1.  Assemble your SRM Square Box. Take an 1/8" Hole punch and punch a hole on two sides on the flaps so you can close the box, have the twine lay right and hang it from the tree. Grab three equal lengths of twine. I chose red, green and pink. Thread the twine through one of the punched holes, tie all three into a knot and repeat on the other side. Your ornament is now able to hang from a tree, a hook, a door knob, depending on the length. 

2.  Pick a side and begin covering. I cut a 2X2 piece of vellum and adhered it to the panel with a few foam dots. I kept them towards the middle so the wouldn't show through the vellum. The next thing I did of course is add an awesome SRM Sticker, Take 2: Stickers By The Dozen/Christmas. 

3.  I then added sequins in a "perfectly random" pattern. I used clear glue for this, just a dab!

4.  For the second panel I used the red strip of We've Got Your Sticker in Merry, I used two strips because I needed six to cover the panel. I saved any that I had leftover by re-sticking it to the sticker sheet.

5.  The second part to this panel is adding a little detail. Santa's happy face works just perfectly for this. Sticking with the light and airy feel, I turn again to the vellum. Santa's on that same We've Got Your Sticker Merry. Cut a 1X1 square of vellum, place Santa in the middle and fold over the top right hand corner as shown. Place a foam square on Santa's beard and adhere it to the box as shown. If you'd like a more uniform look, place it in the middle. There's no wrong or right way to do this. 

6.  The third panel is super fun because it's exactly what is says it is: merry & bright! Take a "merry & bright" label from Labels By The Dozen/Christmas. Add a cheery little Gingerbread Man as shown from Stickers By The Dozen/Gingerbread Man. Glue on some more sequins. The heart is a mini punch. I punched out glitter paper and added a foam dot to the back. Adhere it amongst the sequins. (If you don't have a punch, you could use a tiny wood veneer.)

7.  This last panel is mimicking the 2nd panel in it's clarity. The great thing about SRM is that there's a variety of fun patterns and fonts to choose from. Even better? They all coordinate with each other so well! Begin by selecting "Merry Christmas" from Stickers By The Dozen/Christmas. Cut it in half so you have two words instead of one long sentiment. Place the merry in the upper left corner as shown. Place Christmas right under it, this can be imperfect so don't worry about straight lines.  Select "merry & bright" from We've Got Your Border/Christmas. Trim off one sentiment from the border strip. Adhere it to the panel as shown just below Christmas. Grab a red "noel" from We've Got Your Sticker/Merry and adhere it slightly overlapping the "merry and bright". Tuck any overhang onto the bottom. Select "joy" from the same sheet and adhere it to the lower left hand corner. It's ok if most of it ends up on the bottom part of the box. Grab a stocking from Say It With Stickers/Christmas. You're going to cut out the stocking and add it to the top right. I added sequins again and used clear adhesive as mentioned above. I also punched out another heart and placed it next to noel.

Christmas Shaker Ornaments by Michele

Good morning crafty friends! 

 Michele Kovack here with a fun shaker Christmas ornament to share! We are less than a hundred days from Christmas, so I thought I'd get a jump start on some gifty items.  I had these wooden ornaments in my stash and thought they would make a cute shaker ornament.

The ornament was painted white, coated with glossy accents and sprinkled with mica flakes for a snowy appearance.  I had this shaker circle in my stash as well. I punched the SRM sticker out from the Take 2: Christmas Stickers by the Dozen and used my circle dies to frame the shaker and sticker.

I filled them up with coordinating sequins and glued everything in place.  I added ribbon, red Shimmer Twine and jingle bells to finish it off.

Princess Christmas Ornaments by Tessa

Hello!  It's Tessa Wise with you today, sharing some Christmas ornaments personalized with SRM vinyl I made with my little girls.  They are 7 and 9 and love to do crafts, especially ones we can display!  These will be proudly hung on our Christmas tree this year.

 I picked up these clear plastic ornaments at the craft store along with a pink feather boa and some jewel stickers.  I took the tops off the ornaments and let the girls stuff part of the pink boa in each of them. 

I found this cute crown file in the Silhouette store and cut it, along with each of the girls' names out of a SRM White Glossy Vinyl Sheet.  I used Transfer Tape cut to size to adhere the cuts to the front of the ornaments.   I let the girls add the jewels over the top.  They loved it!

We had so much fun creating these!  I can't wait to see what they look like on our tree!

Tiny Tube Ornaments by Diane

Hello!  Diane Jaquay here and I have a fun idea for you today using The Tiny Tube from SRM.  I decided to make some Christmas ornaments with them, and that idea took me in several different directions.

For the first ornament I thought it would be fun to try and add glitter to a tube.  I've seen this done with round clear ornaments so I thought "why not a clear tube?"!  I love anything that shimmers in the light on my Christmas tree and I know this will look beautiful on it! 

Just some glue into the tube. I think any glue that dries clear would work for this.  Then I spread the glue around the inside of the tube with a paint brush to coat evenly.  Sprinkle in some German glass glitter, a fairly chunky glitter, but I'm sure any glitter would work.  Poke a hole in the tube cap with a piercing tool, then thread some Twinery Gold Shimmer Bakers Twine through the hole to make a hanger.  To decorate this tube I used We've Got Your Border Christmas stickers winding the stars around the tube at an angle and decorating the cap with a Fancy Sticker Sentiments Christmas border.  I finished the ornament with some pretty, shimmery gold ribbon tied at the top.

After making the first ornament I thought "wouldn't it be fun to make these into ornaments but fill them with candy too!"  As a child I always loved anything edible hanging from the tree, and I'm sure most kids would agree :)  The tube can be opened, the candy eaten, then just replace the cap and you have a cute, keepsake ornament!  I filled this tube with green apple jelly beans.  I decorated it with some stocking stickers from We've Got Your Sticker Merry, and borders stickers from We've Got Your Border Christmas and We've Got Your Border Birthday.  I found that 3 of the square stocking stickers fit perfectly around the Tiny Tube.  Again I used some Twinery Bakers Twine (this time Maraschino) to make the hanger, and I tied a bit of green ribbon on top.

 I decorated the last tube with tree stickers from We've Got Your Sticker Merry and border stickers from We've Got Your Border Christmas and filled with red coated chocolate candies.  These tubes hold the perfect amount of candy, not too much, not too little, just enough for a special treat :)   I topped this one off with a little red bow.

 

If you didn't want to fill Tubes with candies you can fill them with anything colorful, small buttons or beads for example.  I am thinking to make a special little Advent tree with them.  SRM carries number stickers that could be used to mark the days, and there are lots of fun little treats you could fill these with other than candy, such as tiny toys or stickers.  With these tubes, your imagination is the only limit!

Christmas Ornaments by Angélique

Angélique Jarrier has created a pair of beautiful Christmas ornaments as well as decorated clear containers to be used as gift boxes for her hand crafted projects.  What lovely gifts these would make!

Angélique's first ornament is a lovely braided wicker star.  She decorated it with some delicate die cuts, a punched piece, a bit of ink, an SRM Sticker and some Peapod twine.

And then she decorated SRM's Rectangular Clear Box with more die cuts, a doily, a tag, some twine and some patterned paper.  This box with all its lovely layers will be a treasured keepsake for the lucky recipiant.

Angélique's second ornament is a 3-D piece beauty.  The pieces are glued together to create 4 areas that Angélique has decorated with different SRM Christmas Stickers.   

She duplicated the Clear Rectangular Box as a gift container for her ornament.

Angélique loves to decorate every surface of her work.  Here's a lovely tag that adorns the back of the doily.

And here is the pair together.  These would make a perfect gift for friends, family, teachers or co-workers.
