Party Bags by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today, I'm sharing some fun and easy party bags with you.

I started by choosing some glassine patterned bags. After, I assembled some die cut boxes together and then added some fun sticker pieces inside. Which for each sticker piece I added them on a piece of cardstock and then did some fussy cutting. Once done, I added each party box to my bags. So easy, right?!...

As you can see, I left my bags empty. But you can fill these bags with anything you'd like! Candies, party favors, etc...endless possibilities. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Party Time Lace Card by Shantaie

Hello!  Shantaie here today and I hope you are having a happy day, I am so thrilled to be sharing my card with you today. I love sharing new ways to use products or to see things in a new light, black lace is typically thought of as dark, or heavy.

On this card the black lace is airy and soft, it anchors the feminine colors and makes the card "pop" A definite must have for your crafting stash!

Layers of paper, Border stickers, and washi tape make a beautiful collage on top of the lace, and that bold black greeting from sticker sentiments up top pulls it all together is the most simple way!  Look at black lace in a whole new way, it is sheer, soft and beautiful!

It's in the Bag! by Roberta

For a summer garden party, Roberta Rosi has created some krafty cutlery holders using SRM's small kraft bags measuring 4" x 6 3/4" as containers.

Roberta embossed the bottom of the kraft bags with small dots.

She decorated the top of the kraft bags with SRM 4" doilies folded in half.  Roberta loves SRM doilies.  The are great for so many uses.  They could even be a coaster to set drinks on at the party.

Roberta decorated each doily with a small die cut butterfly and one sticker from SRM's Live Life Cooking series.

And at the bottom of each bags she added Caribbean blue baker's twine. YUM!

Using SRM's Take 2 Stickers Graduation, Lesley decorated her kraft bag and some Happy Graduation pencils too! And don't forget the black solid twine!

Then she created a card, again using the Take 2 Graduation stickers including some of the borders that are included on this sticker.

What a fun and fabulous ensemble for a graduation party.  You can always add your school colors to this project by using colored cardstock or twine.

Vinyl Party Game by Angélique

When Angélique Jarrier received her new SRM Vinyl she was excited to try it.  She wanted to create a fun game for her daughter's Lilou's birthday party so she set the work.  Lilou loves Monster High so that was the theme of the party!

First Angélique chose White, Black and Pink SRM Vinyl.

SRM Stickers Blog - Vinyl Party Game by Angélique - #vinyl #stickers #party #game #Monster High

Not having a Silhouette or Cricut, Angélique created templates from images found on a Monster High fan website:   http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/monster-high

I'm always amazed at the intricate projects that Angélique loves to make. And hand cutting all these pieces is truly a labor of love.  I know that the "cool ghouls" will appreciate it!  Here's the image on the back of her black SRM Vinyl.  It's from Oracal, the finest vinyl available.

Here are the black and white images that she hand cut and layered on her final project.

And here are the two pieces put together!  Her Monster High image is coming together nicely.

Now Angélique creates pink bow ties.

And she adds some black vinyl to give detail to them.

She then adds black velcro on the back of each bow.  And she places some black velcro onto the black bow so that she can attach the pink bow onto the black bow.

She made a template for Monster High.

And then cut out the letters.

Angélique put it all together and here's the finished project!  A darling game for the girls to play.  The object of the game is who can place the pink bow on just the right place.  Kind of an updated version of "Pin the Tail on the Donkey"!  FUN!

Vinyl can be used for so many different kinds of projects!  And SRM Vinyl comes in so many different colors and styles, the possibilities are unlimited!

Be sure to leave a comment here on the blog for a Vinyl GIVEAWAY.  One lucky fan or friend will get a stash of SRM's new vinyl.  It might just be YOU!

New Year's Party by Angi

Here's a really fun idea for a New Year's celebration for kids or teens from Angi Barrs.  Instead of a New Year's Eve party, Angi suggests a daytime celebration.

SRM Stickers Blog - New Year's Party by Angi - #party #favors #invitation #stickers

Here's how it works:

New Year's Eve is not only for adults.
How about doing something fun for the kiddos & teens in your life?

Throw them a "Noon Year's Eve Party"!!!!

We'll need an official invitation, of course!

SRM Stickers Blog - New Year's Party by Angi - #party #favors #invitation #stickers

Start the countdown, grab your fave snacks, turn up the music, and set a fun and festive table.

You can use real glasses for teens and plastic ones for the smaller kiddos.

Place popcorn, candy, or sparkling apple cider in the glasses.

Dress up each glass and table place cards with SRM Stickers.

Here are the SRM products that Angi used in her New Year's party project:

What a safe and fun way to ring in the New Year!  Thanks Angi for being the party planner on this one.  Great idea!

Girl's Night Out Party by Lesley

As a way of saying "Thank You" to some of her good friends, Lesley Croghan has decided to throw party!  She thought it would be fun to create some party decor, have a few friends over on the deck to enjoy the summer weather and have a little friendship celebration.  What a good idea!

Every party needs an invitation and that's no problem for Lesley.  She created this bright and beautiful invite using SRM's Blank You're Invited Sticker.

She added some stitching to the invite to give it a more homespun look and feeling.  It fits perfectly with Lesley's deck picnic theme.  Are those stitches real  or Sticker Stitches?  Hard to tell. But look closely and you'll see green stitches from the red/green/white Sticker Stitches.

A picnic is not complete without some cute cups and they just great for holding napkins, cutlery and straws.  Love the chocolate dipped strawberries that Lesley used to decorate her cups. Those are SRM's We've Got Your Sticker PLUS Strawberry design.  Lesley also used SRM's Thank You Stickers by the Dozen as the sentiment that decorates each straw.

For party favors Lesley used SRM's Glassine bags and put some "girly" travel sized creams and body washes inside.  They fit perfectly!  She then used some Labels by the Dozen Valentine design to decorate a red card stock sleeve that she slipped over the bags. She left the labels blank so she could write the names of her friends on them.  Hmmmm...who wants to come party with Lesley? :)

Here's the whole ensemble!  Lots of fun and easy to put together.  You friends will feel super special and loved!  You could use this idea for bridesmaids, rehearsal dinners, colleagues or dear old childhood friends.  Such a fun way to celebrate your friends and to thank them for their amazing friendship.

And here are the items that Lesley used to create this project:

Thanks for the lovely party Lesley.  What a great idea for so many different occasions.

For Day #5 of the Bazzill/SRM Spotlight we have Tessa Buys working her magic with Bazzill's Lucy's Crab Shack and a variety of SRM Stickers and containers.  Be sure to swing on over to the Bazzill Blog to see all of Tessa's projects.  We will give you just a taste here on the SRM Blog. You will not want to miss any of her work.  Amazing!

Here's how Tessa describes herself:

"I am a happy mother to three energetic boys and wife to a fantastic, supportive husband. We live in Northern California, where I work as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer. When not in the studio, I am in my craft room designing with everything from paper to fabric. Besides creating for my Etsy shop, Precocious Paper, I enjoy working for scrapbook companies, clubs and shops. You can find my work in Scrapbook Trends, Create Idea Books, Creating Keepsakes, and more. I love blue, but have a serious crush on yellow. I secretly enjoy being the only girl in my household and love all things floral and vintage. I am grateful for this opportunity to pair SRM Stickers and Bazzill papers!"

Tessa is planning a party for her boys and their cousins and she loved using the summery colors of Lucy's Crab shack and teaming them with summer Sticker Sentiments from SRM.  Here's a peek at one of the decorations:

When it comes to TUBES, Tessa is the Queen.  Her party favors are always so fun and fabulous and the TUBES she made for this party are no exception.
Here's a peek at her TUBES.

Love the Bazzill patterned papers and how Tessa created a little "Backyard BBQ" banner using a clear SRM Sticker.

Tessa really enjoyed adding a variety of summer stickers to the favors, the wreath, and even to a framed 4 x 6 card making the party ensemble even more cohesive and interesting. Don't Bazzill and SRM make a great pair! Check out all of Tessa's projects over at the Bazzill Blog.

Leave a comment on the SRM Blog for a chance to win a stash of SRM.  And leave this comment on the Bazzill Facebook to WIN some Bazzill yumminess: "We love SRM and Bazzill."

Thanks for joining us this week for our Bazzill/SRM Stickers feature.  We've had a blast sharing our creations with you.  We love Bazzill and we thank them for the opportunity to have this week together.

It's a Party!

Hello and welcome back! Did you know SRM carries everything you need to customize your own party invitations, favors, banners, etc.? I recently assembled my daughter's party items using gobs of stickers. Roxy is turning eight soon and hosting her first slumber party. When I asked what kind of theme she wanted for her party she replied, "Just make it colorful!".

I started by using SRM's "Party in a Bag" birthday theme. The kit contains four invitations, card bases, envelopes, and tubes along with a sheet of Birthday Borders. I created the invitations by mixing and matching colorful embossed cardstock, and matting the invitation stickers. I decorated the envelopes with border stickers.

I purchased plain $1 notebooks and dressed them up as party favors;

I decorated Glassine Bags using We've Got Your Sticker Plus to hold handmade hair bows as more party favors;

The cupcake toppers were a breeze using the leftover stickers from the Birthday Quick Card Stickers I used for the notebooks and Labels by the Dozen.

I filled tubes with candy and used the birthday borders from the Party in a Bag to decorate them. I tagged them using Labels by the Dozen and Twine;

Interested in creating your own party - it's easier than you think with SRM to help!
