Bazzill/SRM Spotlight - Day #5 - Tessa Buys

For Day #5 of the Bazzill/SRM Spotlight we have Tessa Buys working her magic with Bazzill's Lucy's Crab Shack and a variety of SRM Stickers and containers.  Be sure to swing on over to the Bazzill Blog to see all of Tessa's projects.  We will give you just a taste here on the SRM Blog. You will not want to miss any of her work.  Amazing!

Here's how Tessa describes herself:

"I am a happy mother to three energetic boys and wife to a fantastic, supportive husband. We live in Northern California, where I work as a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer. When not in the studio, I am in my craft room designing with everything from paper to fabric. Besides creating for my Etsy shop, Precocious Paper, I enjoy working for scrapbook companies, clubs and shops. You can find my work in Scrapbook Trends, Create Idea Books, Creating Keepsakes, and more. I love blue, but have a serious crush on yellow. I secretly enjoy being the only girl in my household and love all things floral and vintage. I am grateful for this opportunity to pair SRM Stickers and Bazzill papers!"

Tessa is planning a party for her boys and their cousins and she loved using the summery colors of Lucy's Crab shack and teaming them with summer Sticker Sentiments from SRM.  Here's a peek at one of the decorations:

When it comes to TUBES, Tessa is the Queen.  Her party favors are always so fun and fabulous and the TUBES she made for this party are no exception.
Here's a peek at her TUBES.

Love the Bazzill patterned papers and how Tessa created a little "Backyard BBQ" banner using a clear SRM Sticker.

Tessa really enjoyed adding a variety of summer stickers to the favors, the wreath, and even to a framed 4 x 6 card making the party ensemble even more cohesive and interesting. Don't Bazzill and SRM make a great pair! Check out all of Tessa's projects over at the Bazzill Blog.

Leave a comment on the SRM Blog for a chance to win a stash of SRM.  And leave this comment on the Bazzill Facebook to WIN some Bazzill yumminess: "We love SRM and Bazzill."

Thanks for joining us this week for our Bazzill/SRM Stickers feature.  We've had a blast sharing our creations with you.  We love Bazzill and we thank them for the opportunity to have this week together.

Bazzill/SRM Spotlight - Guest Designer - Margie Romney-Aslett

What fun for SRM to welcome Margie Romney-Aslett to our blog today to play with SRM Container products and Bazzill patterned papers!

Margie Romney-Aslett is a daughter, a sister, a friend, a mother, a scrapbooker, a teacher and designer. If you asked her she would say, “I’m just a girl.” Margie started scrapbooking after the birth of her first child and has seen and been part of industry changes over the years as a product designer. She has been working for Bazzill for the past two-years and loves it! Margie has taught all over the United States and world. Margie loves getting out and meeting other women who have the same passion for paper-crafting in common. If you have ever taken one of Margie’s classes you know she is full of energy, laughs and fun! Margie is a girlie girl, loves the color pink, a great pedi and putting together a beautiful outfit from head to toe! Margie has four beautiful children. Having two adult daughters and two adult sons keeps her hip to all the latest trends, full of energy and hard working!

We sent Margie some of SRM's new containers and stickers to play with and she was off and running.  She loves the new kraft bags and decided to team one with lots of SRM Sticker goodness and Bazzill's Lucy's Crab Shack patterned papers.  Can you spot the 2014 mini calendar, the new Sticker Stitches in pink (pink's her favorite color) and the new Year of Memories 2014 tab?  Margie layered the stickers on top of layers of doilies, paper and embellishments.  Love the trio of flowers.  Wouldn't this make a perfect gift bag for a June birthday?

Margie loves the new clear boxes and she took the rectangular one, decorating it with patterned papers, cardstock, flowers and a fabulous and fancy button.  Then Margie added one of SRM's new Birthday Labels by the Dozen.  These colors are totally YUM!

What a treat to have Margie Romney-Aslett visit us today.  Thank you for all your crafty goodness Margie.  In celebration of her visit, SRM is giving away all the sticker and container products that Margie used for her projects.  Leave a comment here on the SRM Blog. Also leave this comment on the Bazzill Facebook for another chance to WIN some Bazzill goodies: "We love SRM and Bazzill."

Join us tomorrow for our final day of our week of Bazzill/SRM when Tessa Buys creates a party that you will not want to miss!

Bazzill/SRM Spotlight - Day #3 - Deana Boston

Welcome to day #3 of the Bazzill/SRM Spotlight on both of our blogs.  Today SRM Design Team member Deana Boston is featured.  Deana can do it all!  Layouts, cards, altered projects...you name it, she does it.  And she does it with a fabulous flair.

Let's hear a bit about Deana in her own words:

"I'm Deana Boston.  I've been scrapbooking & taking photos for as long as I can remember, but it became a passion after I attended a Creative Memories party shortly after my husband proposed to me 14 years ago.  Thankfully my scrapbooking style has changed since then, but I do still have a love for multi-photo pages with lots of journaling.  I've also found a love for making my own cards since then.  In addition to my love for paper crafting, I'm also a wife, a mom to a tween, and a Zumba instructor.  I'm not sure what I love more... SRM Stickers or Zumba?!!  I think it's a tie!

I had so much fun creating with Bazzill's "Lucy's Crab Shack" collection!  While the collection is certainly a beach theme, it can definitely be used for other themes as you can see with my cards.  I love that Bazzill's patterned paper is a heavier weight.  I also love the texture of Bazzill's cardstock.  I'll be using more of this collection after our summer vacation plans! Can't wait!"

Deana's first layout using Lucy's Crab Shack and SRM Stickers is all about LOVE!  Deana loves working with Bazzill's patterned papers and card stock as she finds it to be of the highest quality.  On her layout Deana used SRM's Black Labels by the Dozen, the heart and mini sentiment borders from Stickers by the Dozen.  SRM Stickers go with any color or pattern of paper.

See another layout from Deana on the Bazzill Blog.  Here's a sneak peek:

Lucy's Crab Shack sheet with stars is perfect for Graduation projects. Deana teamed the Bazzill paper with SRM's Graduation Stickers by the Dozen, Black Labels and one of SRM's new Glassine Bags which makes a perfect gift holder on the front of her card.  A crisp bill of any denomination fits nicely tucked into the bag.  Her card if topped off with a bow to match the school colors.

These 2 papers from Lucy's Crab Shack give a completely different look and feel when teamed with the whimsical Birthday Birdie from SRM's new Stickers by the Dozen.  What a totally fun birthday card!

Wrapping up Deana's projects is a card that would be perfect for anytime of year!  Deana used her Bazzill papers and card stock which she embossed and then added a SRM Label by the Dozen and some mini sentiment stickers from Stickers by the Dozen.  Deana loves her stash of SRM and likes to mix and match.  Love how she topped off this card with a dimensional heart.

Thanks Deana for all your beautiful Bazzill/SRM projects.  Love them all!  Leave a comment here on today's blog for a chance to WIN a stash of SRM Stickers.  And be sure to hop on over to the Bazzill Blog to see more of Deana's projects and connect to Bazzill's Facebook for a chance to WIN some Bazzill goodies.  Leave this comment of the Bazzill Facebook: "We love SRM and Bazzill."

Bazzill/SRM Spotlight - Day #2 - Melanie Jarocki

Welcome Day #2 of the Bazzill/SRM celebration.  All week long some of SRM's Design Team members and a special Guest Designer on Thursday will be working their magic with SRM and Bazzill products.

Today we feature Melanie Jarocki.  You'll get some sneak peeks of Melanie's work here on the SRM Blog and the full view of all these projects over on the Bazzill Blog.  Be sure to check it out and leave comments on both blogs for a chance to win some SRM and Bazzill goodies!

Here's a bit about Melanie in her own words:

"I live just east of Seattle in a valley near the mountains with my husband and 5 children. Scrapbooking and card making have been hobbies of mine for over a decade now. I love creating special projects for my family and friends. When I'm not paper-crafting, doing laundry, or carpooling, I enjoy reading with my kids, playing board games, and baking. And sometimes I like to just sit in the backyard and look at the mountains."

Here's a peek at 3 projects featured on the Bazzill Blog.  Melanie created a double page spread layout.  She does a lot of scrapbooking documenting the lives of her 5 children and all their adventures!

And here's a peek at a sweet birthday card she created.  You can't have too many birthday cards, can you?

And finally, here's a peek at a sweet treat pillow box embellished with Bazzill papers and twine.  Love the Lucy's Crab Shack T-Shirt on the tag!

Melanie loves combining SRM and Bazzill products.  Here are her thoughts on Bazzill patterned papers:

"Bazzill papers are a wonderful mix of texture and heftiness. I love using them as backgrounds. The patterns and colors are beautiful and unique."

And her thoughts on SRM Stickers:

"SRM stickers are the butter to my bread. They make my projects that much better everytime I use them. They seemlessly blend into materials and add that extra-special touch to whatever I create. The addition of containers and twine has been so fun! I love having the containers for gifts or little treats. The twine is definitely one of my favorite ways to finish off a project."

Thanks for dropping by.  Be sure to leave a comment for a chance to WIN some products.  And be sure to hop on over to the Bazzill Blog to see all of Melanie's projects.  Leave a comment on the Bazzill Facebook for a GIVEAWAY saying "We love SRM and Bazzill."!

Bazzill/SRM Spotlight - Day #1 - Corrie Jones

Welcome to a week celebrating all things Bazzill and SRM!  Over the next 5 days we will feature selected SRM Design Team members and on Thursday we will have a very special Guest Designer.  Each designer used Bazzill's Lucy's Crab Shack patterned papers collection in their projects.

Today we feature Corrie Jones, scrapbooker extraordinaire!  Corrie's free and fabulous style is always fun to explore.  She is truly a paper crafting artist.  Corrie lives with her husband and three active daughters in the ‘burbs of Atlanta where she spends a considerable amount of time playing a taxi driver and trying to stay cool in the friends and encouraging kids to run faster and to score a goal.

Corrie teamed her Bazzill papers with Bazzill cardstock and created a custom background on the cardstock using watercolor paints and gesso.  Then she added 2 photos, stickers and embellishments.  Simply beautiful!

Corrie used lots of SRM Sticker words and Bazzill paper words along the right side of her photo.

She also used some simple embellishments and 2 fabulous photos.

Love all the little details on this beautifully crafted layout.  Perfection!

Here's what Corrie had to say about working with SRM and Bazzill together"

"SRM and Bazzill are a perfect match.  The stickers melt into the cardstock for a beautiful finish.  I love how I was able to use words cut out from Bazzill patterned paper along with SRM beach stickers.  You cannot even tell that I am mixing products!  It all looks so perfect together!"

Here's a list of all the SRM Stickers Corrie used on her layout:

Tube Holder by Amy Heller

Amy Heller created a wonderful box to hold a SRM Tube... She used Bazzill Cardstock along with patterned paper from "Grandma's Feather Bed". The box template is from a Starbucks Cafe Via Iced Coffee box (it's the *perfect* height for the tubes). Amy's previous life as the Creative Director in a marketing department of a company that created LOTS of packaging came in handy with this one. Amy used SRM Stickers; "We've Got Your Sticker PLUS, Flower", and the coordinating set, "We've Got Your Stickers, Thanks".

Have a great weekend and join us all next week for more!
