Project Helper with Clear Containers by Shanna

Hello SRM friends!  This is Shanna here today sharing with you an "outside the box" way to use utilize SRM's fabulous clear containers!

I have been coloring an awful lot here lately, and I tend to get distracted or interrupted easily (a.k.a. KIDS!) and then forget which exact colors were being used on my current project.  Especially frustrating if I am wanting to duplicate a card or need to touch up a spot I had to walk away from momentarily!

SRM to the rescue!

I used SRM's clear mini box and Tall Thin Box to create not only a spot to hold my markers while using them on a project, but a spot for my water brush too!  YAY for organization!  I grabbed a scrap piece of SRM Vinyl in black to make some cute labels for my containers and Voila! I have a small obsession with script fonts and just loved how this turned out....the font is called "Hello Gorgeous" for my fellow font aficionados.

I decided last minute to adhere some sticky back velcro dots to make the boxes removable from the container that holds all the colors.  I like that I can just have the little boxes on my workspace if I want, as my workspace *shrinks* the longer I create!

Supplies used:
SRM Vinyl- Black
SRM Vinyl transfer paper
Silhouette Cameo
Sticky back Velcro dots

Let me know what you think!
Is there anything you could use some help organizing?

Halloween Treats 4 Ways by Samantha

Hello! Samantha here, and today I'm getting ready for Halloween. I've got 4 different containers all packaged up with treats, but here's the best part: I only used one sticker sheet to decorate all 4 containers.

I'm telling you, no matter what you have to package up, SRM has a container for that! As you can see in the photo above all 4 containers are decorated with stickers from the We've Got Your Sticker Treats sticker sheet. Here's a closer look a the different containers I chose to use and what fits inside.

First up are the pillow boxes. They come in 3 different sizes (small, medium, large) and 2 different materials (kraft and clear). The small pillow box is perfect for a handful of candy corn, while the medium size fits a couple of fun sized candy bars or bags. The clear are a great way to show off brightly colored candy, while the kraft are great for making your treat a surprise.

One of my all time favorite SRM products are the clear tubes, but if you're looking for something just a bit different this time around (and something that won't roll away from you), these tall thin clear boxes are super fun. I stuffed mine with 4 pieces of licorice, but smaller candies like Rollos, M&M's, Skittles, Kisses, and the like fit wonderfully in this box.

The last box I decorated was a kraft window box. This comes in a few different sizes, but I chose the 4 1/8" x 4 1/8" size. This box fits 3-4 fun sized candies in it. You also get the best of both worlds; both a clear window and a kraft box to decorate with stickers. You can even match your stickers (pumpkin sticker) to your candy (Reeses Pumpkin) like I did.

And that's it guys! All you need is one sheet of stickers to decorate all these treats...and you'll even have stickers left over to use in your planner or scrapbook.

Halloween Treat Set by Latrice

Welcome to Day #2 of Holiday Week where SRM Design Team members give you great ideas and a head start on holiday projects.

Latrice Murphy loves giving a little something special for each holiday and Halloween is no exception. Leaving this little treat for her kids will be such a great surprise to them.  She'll fill the glassine bag with their favorite sweet treat.  They don’t get too many sweets other than on special occasions so they’ll love this.  It took Latrice just a short time to cut a few strips of paper and add some gemstones to make something fun.

Materials needed:
White cardstock
Patterned paper
Gemstones
Colored cardstock
ribbon
Washi tape
Circle punches
SRM stickers, pencils & glassine bag

SRM materials needed:

Love how bold and bright this banner is on the glassine bag.  Such a great contrast to the doily.

SRM Stickers and Containers are a perfect match.  Just add some ribbon and bling and you are good to go!

Want to make this project?  Here are the directions for treat bag:
1. Start by choosing you patterned paper and cardstock to create the large banner piece on the glassine bag.
2. Layer the pieces on top of one another along with a paper doily.
3. Adhere your stickers and gemstone.
4. Next adhere three Halloween circle stickers to white cardstock, punch them out with circle punches and adhere with 3D squares.
5. Finish the glassine bag off with a couple lines of sticker stitches, add your treat and seal with washi tape.

Directions for Pencil box:
1. Start by folding your box and adding sentiment pencils inside.
2. Next choose sticker sentiments to add to the full length of the box.
3. Using one of the square sticker shapes create a 3D embellishments.
4. Finish off with coordinating ribbon and gemstones.

Latrice said "It truly was easy and fast. Not to mention really fun to make. I love flawless these stickers are on paper. It looks like I printed them onto the paper and box. LOVE that!"

We love what you've done with SRM Stickers and Containers Latrice.  So adorable and so easy!  Now that's a winning combination.
