Today I am playing with SRM Stickers:

I love to use these Tiny Tubes as stocking stuffers, it is a great way to gift money. I first used some Tombow liquid glue to adhere the pretty White Lace. Let the glue dry before trying to stick the stickers on. Next I used We've Got Your Sticker: Merry and Stickers By the Dozen: Gingerbread Man to finished decorating these fun Tiny Tubes. Now all they need is money in them.

For something a little extra I though I would make a cute sign that I can decorate with. I first sprayed Heidi Swapps color shine teal and green. Let spray dry before sticking stickers to wood. Next I used Stickers Stitches: Christmas and We've Got Your Sticker: Merry to finished decorating it. Simple and sweet but oh so fun.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy SRM Stickers Crafting.

A Little Halloween Ensemble by Lorena

Hello SRM friends!  For the next few weeks SRM is being featured in a "Linky Party" over at Paper Issues.  Be sure to join the fun HERE!

It's Lorena here just in time for some trick or treating and for the Linky Party! :) Today I bring you a treat + mini card set with lots of sticker goodness!  Again, another project that could be mass produced in no time and used as a fun party favor or school treat.

Let's start with the treat. I used  the Tiny Tube and filled it with seasonal Reeses Pieces. I love this stuff! And yes, some of the round little guys may have been harmed in the process of making this project *nom nom* I started adhering a border from We've Got Your Border/Halloween around the tube cap, and topped it with one of the cute scary pumpkins from FreeStyle/Halloween. They fit perfectly!

The "Trick or Treat" pannel comes also from FreeStyle/Halloween. I adhered it to a piece of vellum and trimmed it. That way it has stability but not too much bulk. At first my idea was making a tag with it (just punch a hole on the top and you're done) and then tie it around the tube. But when I was playing around with it to see the placement I wanted, I found that I loved how it looked adhered to the tube with foam tape. So I went that way.

For the card I stuck with similar elements so everything would coordinate nicely. I layered a green border from FreeStyle/Halloween and the same border I used on the tube. The sentiment and the pumpkin come again from FreeStyle/Halloween. I trimmed it, adhered it to a piece of white cardstock and trimmed again so the white border would make it pop against the black background. Finally, I added dots with a white gel pen to mimic the pumpkin sticker I used on the tube cap.

And we're done! Thanks for visiting, have fun this Halloween and remember that it's all about the candy ;)

And don't forget to hop on over to Paper Issues where you can join the SRM Linky Party fun!

Tiny Tube Ornaments by Diane

Hello!  Diane Jaquay here and I have a fun idea for you today using The Tiny Tube from SRM.  I decided to make some Christmas ornaments with them, and that idea took me in several different directions.

SRM Stickers Blog - Tiny Tube Ornaments by Diane - #tube #altered #christmas #fancy #stickers #twine #ornaments

For the first ornament I thought it would be fun to try and add glitter to a tube.  I've seen this done with round clear ornaments so I thought "why not a clear tube?"!  I love anything that shimmers in the light on my Christmas tree and I know this will look beautiful on it!

SRM Stickers Blog - Tiny Tube Ornaments by Diane - #tube #altered #christmas #fancy #stickers #twine #ornaments

Just some glue into the tube. I think any glue that dries clear would work for this.  Then I spread the glue around the inside of the tube with a paint brush to coat evenly.  Sprinkle in some German glass glitter, a fairly chunky glitter, but I'm sure any glitter would work.  Poke a hole in the tube cap with a piercing tool, then thread some Twinery Gold Shimmer Bakers Twine through the hole to make a hanger.  To decorate this tube I used We've Got Your Border Christmas stickers winding the stars around the tube at an angle and decorating the cap with a Fancy Sticker Sentiments Christmas border.  I finished the ornament with some pretty, shimmery gold ribbon tied at the top.

After making the first ornament I thought "wouldn't it be fun to make these into ornaments but fill them with candy too!"  As a child I always loved anything edible hanging from the tree, and I'm sure most kids would agree :)  The tube can be opened, the candy eaten, then just replace the cap and you have a cute, keepsake ornament!  I filled this tube with green apple jelly beans.  I decorated it with some stocking stickers from We've Got Your Sticker Merry, and borders stickers from We've Got Your Border Christmas and We've Got Your Border Birthday.  I found that 3 of the square stocking stickers fit perfectly around the Tiny Tube.  Again I used some Twinery Bakers Twine (this time Maraschino) to make the hanger, and I tied a bit of green ribbon on top.

I decorated the last tube with tree stickers from We've Got Your Sticker Merry and border stickers from We've Got Your Border Christmas and filled with red coated chocolate candies.  These tubes hold the perfect amount of candy, not too much, not too little, just enough for a special treat :)   I topped this one off with a little red bow.

If you didn't want to fill Tubes with candies you can fill them with anything colorful, small buttons or beads for example.  I am thinking to make a special little Advent tree with them.  SRM carries number stickers that could be used to mark the days, and there are lots of fun little treats you could fill these with other than candy, such as tiny toys or stickers.  With these tubes, your imagination is the only limit!

Christmas Tags, Tubes & Purse by Lesley

Lesley Croghan has created a set of Christmas tags, tubes and clear purse using SRM's Labels by the Dozen Christmas, Tiny TUBES and a small clear purse.  What a beautiful assortment of goodies for Christmas all tied together with patterned papers, felt flowers, wooden embellishments and twine.

Let's take a closer look at some of the tags.  Love the contrast of the bright and bold colors of the SRM Labels to the papers and the kraft tags.

Lesley's Tiny TUBES are decorated by inserting patterned paper inside the TUBES and popping some beautiful felt flowers to the outside.  What a perfect holiday party favor or gift container.

Lesley created another wonderful gift box or favor using SRM's small clear purse.  She decorated it with an assortment of lovely patterned papers, a SRM Label by the Dozen and again used the felt flowers.  Love the pearl accent on the flower.  You could even hang this on your tree!

Christmas Treats by Angi

Angi Barrs loves to give gourmet popcorn for Christmas. This year she's decided to take it up a notch and create mini popcorn buckets and SRM Popcorn Tubes.  How fun is that!

Angi used a popcorn box die and Heidi Swapp paper. And she just loves the Christmas Tree from SRM's We've Got Your Sticker Plus set.  It's so fun and festive for Christmas projects.  And the Trees from SRM's Stickers by the Dozen Christmas match them and are a perfect size for the mini and tiny Tubes.

Angi wrapped the tops of the Tiny and Mini tubes with We've Got Your Border Christmas stickers. The colors are so merry and bright! You can easily fill your food safe tubes with popped popcorn or just the kernels. They will be a hit any way you do it.

Angi used these stickers in her fun project!  What fun little gifts or stocking stuffers from Santa!

Thanks Angi for your great inspiration.   Perfect timing with Christmas just around the corner!  Gift giving has never been so easy, tasty and FUN!

School Days Gift Set by Corri

Corri Garza is ready for the first day of school!  She created this adorable gift set for a teacher using her Cameo to create this fun apple shaped card.  Corri added a SRM sticker from the Teacher Say it with Stickers to black card stock.  I love the star and button embellishments and the Cappuccino Twine.

Corri then created this Tiny TUBE holder.  It's a bottle holder but she reduced the size to fit the Tiny TUBES.  She filled the Tiny TUBES with gumballs and embellished the front of the holder with a sticker from SRM's Freestyle School set.  And then she added the same embellishments as she put on the apple shaped card.

What a perfect pair this gift set makes!  That teacher is going to love her gift.

Here are the SRM products that Corri used on this project:

What a great way to begin the school year.

Mixed Media TUBES by Tobi

Tobi Crawford loves to play with inks and stamps.  And she loves mixed media projects.  So when she looks at a TUBE from SRM she sees a palette for her artistry.  Here's a mini tutorial to show you what Tobi did.

The TUBE begins clear and clean.

And then Tobi begins to do her magic!  Using her Tim Holtz Distress Paints, Tobi gives the TUBE a wash of color!

She then stamps background images with archival ink.

She seals the paint with Beacon Fast Finish.

And finally Tobi embellishes her TUBE with twine.

And then she starts again with a Tiny TUBE!

After she uses the distress paint, stamps the background and seals it, Tobi embellishes the top of the TUBE with a clear sticker from SRM's Stickers by the Dozen Thank You design and finishes it off with a touch of twine.

What a brilliant way to decorate this pair of SRM Tubes!  Truly a work of art!

Thanks for the inspiration Tobi and for your TUBE tutorial!  If you would like to play with TUBES, see all sizes HERE!  Join us tomorrow for some mini card inspiration from Virginia Lu!
