Hello friends! It's Lorena today with a savvy idea for those of you who love the fast growing trend of planners but still would like to keep things simple and easy. SRM's stickers are fantastic for decorating planners. I specially love the Labels by the Dozen, they come in lots of fantastic colors and I'm sure you'll find a color scheme that fits your planner needs :)
I love the freedom using a plain notebook as a planner gives me. Sometimes I may need two pages for a day, and sometimes half a page will do. So this idea will work perfectly with a plain notebook, but is still good for a standard planner with dates and such. So let me show you what I did!
In the pic you can see my brand new reusable planner labels sitting on a plain Moleskine notebook (a lined one). I went with the colorful Labels by the Dozen/Bright Blank. To begin with, I adhered the labels to sturdy cardstock, and then used an alphabet stamp set to stamp the categories I needed. Once the stamping was done, I trimmed the labels and laminated them. See where I'm going?
Now I have a set of laminated labels that I can switch around daily according to my particular needs. The trick is to use a strip of repositionable dry adhesive on the back of the labels. New day, new disposition. I was able to get two labels out of the biggest ones by cutting them in two pieces.
I love how this turned out! If your planner has already a color scheme inside, maybe you'd like to go with Labels by the Dozen/Black & White. They go with everything!
Oh, another idea: you can also use them on a dry erase board, or even adhere some magnet sheet on the back and use them on a magnetic board. Lots of options, really.
