Mini Purse Mini Tutorial by Latrice

Latrice Murphy is with us today to share a fun gift giving idea that you can create quickly. Latrice admits that she is sometimes forgetful about birthdays and such and says that she seems to always be digging for a card or throwing something together the day before. Here is a fun alternative to a birthday card in addition to a gift of your choice.  And Latrice has even given us a little tutorial so that you can make some of these cuties too!

Here’s what you’ll need to create this project:

Patterned paper
3D squares
Mix of ribbon

And here's what we’re creating.  Simply adorable!  Super simple to create but sensational!

Love the mix of ribbon and twine on the handle of the little purse.  And love those colorful gum balls that she put inside.

And love the layering of the punched pieces, SRM Labels by the Dozen and Birthday Borders.   YUM!

Want to make this adorable little purse?  You can make a stash of them and have them ready for any occasion or holiday.  Here are the directions:

Directions:
1. Fold and fill your purse with a treat.
2. Using a large scallop punch or die cutting machine cut a 4” scallop circle.
3. Layer your cupcake image onto the label and then again onto white cardstock. Adhere this to the scallop circle with 3D adhesive.
4. Choose border stickers and add them to the top and bottom of the purse.
5. Finish it off with a sentiment strip tucked under the cupcake.
6. Choose twine and ribbon to create a bow at the top of the purse and you’re done!

Thanks Latrice for this oh so cute project.  You have inspired us!
