Guest Designer; Keri Babbitt

We are excited to welcome Keri Babbitt as a Guest Designer here on the SRM Blog today. What a talent!  Did you know that Keri was a Cover Girl on the May 2013 Creating Keepsakes!  Like I said... what a talent!

Here's a bit about Keri in her own words.
"Hi there, I’m Keri Babbitt. I’m a mom of two, who’s been happily crafting since high school. I love capturing life’s moments and expressing myself artistically through craft-making.

I’m obsessed with anything vintage and love trying new techniques, as well as finding creative ways combine new products with my existing stash. I love to experiment with any and every scrapping style, from minimalist to shabby chic. I am often a grid‐based, multi‐photo scrapper, and enjoy finding well‐ designed ways to include lots of photos.

Other than crafting, I enjoy: curling up with a good book, dancing, vintage-shopping, and being in the outdoors or watching Mythbusters with my family.   You can find more of my work on my blog at  http://kensingtondesign.blogspot.com ."

Recently Keri won some SRM Border Stickers in a Guest Designer giveaway on the SRM Blog and I noticed that she had posted a card on the SRM Flickr with the borders she won. I took one look at that card and knew that I wanted to ask Keri to be a guest designer.

Here is the beautiful card I found on our Flickr that Keri made using SRM's Bright Borders.  How inventive and perfect!

Next Keri made this fun and fabulous layout again using SRM's Borders but this time both Bright and Pastel.  Like the title says "Love This"!

The colors and the shapes on this layout are so playful and perfect; so hip and happening.

And for her second layout Keri used more of SRM's Borders Bright and Pastel.  Love the zig zag stitches top left and top right going up the side. Those stitches are found on SRM Borders as well as SRM Sticker Stitches.  Such a fun product!

Those SRM mini sentiments from the borders, "happiness" and "it's the little things", work so well in this circle element.

Here's the Bright and Pastel borders that Keri used.

As you can see, Keri has lots of borders left over after making a card and 2 layouts so she can create many more projects.  I wonder what she will make next?

Just so happens that Keri just sent me a darling little gift bag project that she made using SRM's Glassine Bags and more of her SRM Borders!  I knew that she would just have to make more.  I love this darling little bag.

You make me smile Keri, with your Sweet Friend border.  Perfection!

Here's what Keri has to say about SRM:

"I have long loved the versatility of SRM's clear-background stickers, and especially love to use them as the finishing touch on my scrapbook pages.  I enjoy the great variety of colors & neutrals, and often use both on the same project.  The stitches make perfect borders, and I love to use the word/phrase stickers to accent & complement my titles.  The stickers blend so well around the edges, and are a classic way to join in on the transparent trend that continues to be popular."
Thanks Keri for loving your SRM and for sharing your talent with us today.  We love your work!
