SRM Monthly Challenge Blog & PRIZES too!

Welcome to SRM Stickers!  We are delighted to share with you today some exciting news! We have created a SRM Challenge Blog, thinking that a monthly challenge would be great fun!  And so each month on the first Friday, we will have a guest designer and a challenge.  Sound good?  We hope you will join in.    You will have all month to post your SRM creations.

A special thank you to Lesley Croghan who encouraged SRM to take the plunge into the world of Challenge Blogs.  This would not have happened without Lesley's hard work and boundless energy.  She is amazing! 

This month we are THRILLED to have the talented Virginia Lu Guest Designing with us.

Welcome! Today's project is a layout by Sasha Holloway. Sasha's little boy is the focus of her layout, and the inspiration for our new challenge this week!



SRM Stickers has a whole range of boy-themed stickers that you can view or purchase HERE. Now for the challenge details; Create a new boy-themed layout or card using SRM Stickers and upload it into our Gallery by Midnight Sunday night, PST. Be sure to tag your entry with "srmboy". A challenge winner will be chosen and announced on Monday. They'll receive a generous SRM Stickers Prize Package!

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by today. We have a special post and challenge -- we've teamed with Operation Write Home!


About OWH!
Operation Write Home began in 2007 with just a few cards made by friends on a message board; what began as an outlet for a hobby has become a much larger mission to help heroes keep in touch with home - and the effort has been joined by thousands of cardmakers!

OWH receives handmade cards donated by crafters across America (and beyond!). Cardmakers range in age, location, and level of skill; cards are provided by individuals and groups, schools and scouts, companies and churches. All have one primary thing in common: a desire to serve those who defend our nation!

Cards are mailed to one of our volunteer shippers in quanities both small and large. The shippers process, sort, repair, and document each donation, and then pack and ship boxes of over 300 cards each to our contacts. Our heroes request cards (families may also request on their behalf; we serve all branches in all deployed locations.

Cosmo Cricket Feature, TOGETHERNESS

Welcome to July at SRM Stickers. We're going to have a lot of fun this month as we dive into a Clean & Simple style. We challenge you to use stickers to create a card, layout, altered item (whatever you like!) with a Clean & Simple feel. Please provide your entry at the bottom of this post. Welcome to the start of another month at SRM Stickers! We began this blog in January with a goal to help inspire paper crafters to look at stickers in a whole new light. We've provided daily projects from a fantastic Design Team, and you may have noticed SRM Stickers popping up on blogs, challenge sites, and galleries everywhere. We are thrilled to see you using and enjoying SRM Stickers. Thank you for stopping by each day, for your support, and for your entries into our challenges and Flickr Gallery. You're the best!

Ok, so onto this month's theme! June's theme is "Here Comes The Sun". Some of us are still firmly planted in winter-like areas (like me!), but for many of you, Summer is well on its way. Your challenge is to create a card, layout, altered item (whatever you like!) that reflects our June theme. A word from Tania: "What is there not to love about SRM stickers!? They really have left no stone unturned in terms of creating groups of stickers for almost every occassion you might ever need. In addition, I love how versatile the stickers are in terms of use. I can attach the semi-transparent stickers to white cardstock and trim around them (as shown with the summer title) to make the color pop. This can also be done with placement over the same color tone which makes the color pop, but still maintains the transparent (rub-on like) quality (as shown with the 'soaking in the sun' square sticker. Or, I can place the sticker directly over a photo giving an seemless appearance and looking more like a perfect rub-on! We all know rub-ons can be finicky, but SRM stickers save the day, every time."

May Challenge/Guest Designer Contest

Our May theme is about celebrating life. Whether it's a graduation, anniversary, birthday, new baby... We want to see your celebrating life project.

I have a truly wonderful 'Celebrate Life' project sample to show you -- it's a "Week in the Life" project using SRM's 8x8" Calendar and Stickers. Deana documented a week of her life with her family with this treasure;
