Halloween Mason Jars & Coasters by Juliana

Hello SRM Friends! It's Juliana here today and anyone who knows me, knows how much I love Halloween. I especially love to decorate for Halloween and this year I'm getting ready for our annual Halloween Costume party. As part of this years decorations, I thought it would be fun to dress up some mason jars and coasters with the fantastic SRM Stickers Vinyl and Patterned Vinyl!

I started with a set of coaster that I found at my local craft store. I began by painting the edges of each coaster black. Once the paint was dry, I cut a piece of the Patterned Vinyl in either Black Stripes or Black Chevron to just slightly larger than the size of each coaster. I then removed the backing paper, adhered the vinyl to the coaster and then trimmed away the excess vinyl.

To further decorate each coaster,  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out some Halloween images that I designed from the SRM Matte Black Vinyl and adhered them to the center of each coaster.

I used these same Halloween images to decorate the mason jars.

Diamond in the Rough by Cathy H.

Hi there!  Cathy H here with you today to share some projects created with 17 Turtles cut files and SRM!  The perfect combination!

I used A Diamond in the Rough file on all three of my projects!  Loving the diamond shapes cut using metallic gold card stock.  On my first card, I used some teal water color paint, a bit of washi tape, and vellum.  The perfect sentiment sticker from SRM was from Thinking of You Sentiment set and then the perfect finishing touch with a bit of Sticker Stitches and Caribbean Twine.

For my second card, I used the A Diamond in the Rough file again but added the Shine Bright file!  So much fun.  Again, a bit of teal water color paint, washi tape, gold metallic card stock and fabulous sentiment sticker from SRM Thinking of You Sentiment Sticker Set!

And lastly, a layout created with both files and just using the Shine from the Shine Bright file.  A teal water color background with lots of diamonds stitched across the page.  A bit of washi tape, and SRM We've Got Your Border/Thank You green scalloped border across the top and bottom.  A few layers and a darling photo of my grand daughter enhanced with SRM Stickers

 Hello/We've Got Your Sticker.  I love the look of the SRM Stickers layered over the photo...so simple but a great look!  Then the finishing touch, a bit of Caribbean Twine.

SRM Stickers and 17 Turtles have been sharing some fantastic inspiration with you dear readers, and today is my turn. 

Shannon here, sharing a set I created using the "I Love Coffee & Tea" Set! This set is fabulous, you can create pretty much anything with it! In this post I'm going to show you lots of possibilities using just this one set from 17turtles.  I had so much fun creating lots of different cards and tags using this one set combining them with SRM products.  I especially loved welding two objects together in my Silhouette.  

So here's what I created….

Tags with SRM stickers, punched pieces and twine! 

Cards using SRM Stickers, Borders, Sticker Stitches  and Twine!  I love all the different possibilities with this 17turtles file.  It's amazing!

I even used the hearts as a border on several of the cards pictured below.

Loved combining 17turtles shapes for these cards and adding lots of SRM goodies including Borders, Sentiments, punched pieces and twine!

Pie Chart Love by Tessa

Hello! Tessa Buys here with a layout inspired by a lovely cut file from 17 Turtles. I had the pleasure of working with the Pie Chart Love design:

I recently took a photo of myself with a bunch of balloons as I volunteered at our local elementary school. I thought the circles of the pie charts looked like the balloons, so I colored the background of each pie chart with watercolors to match the balloons in my photo. Some slices received the gold glitter treatment.

My favorite part of the cut file is the hearts, so of course I saved that special spot for SRM stickers! I used the We've Got Your Border - Bright sheet, specifically the sticker that reads "happiness is...". It was a really fun experience and I thought that sticker perfectly expressed how I feel about reading to kids and volunteering.

Bold Sentiment Cards by Lorena

Welcome back to our celebration of 17 Turtles Digital Cut files!

Hello everyone! Are you ready for another dose of inspiration on how to combine SRM products and the awesome 17 Turtles digital files? Lorena here with a couple of cards using the This is Magic cut file and lots of SRM goodies, too! The cut file I'm using is chocking full of lovely script words that are perfect both for cards and scrapbook layouts.

Here's my first card:

I started creating a rainbow background using SRM's Punched Pieces (medium size). Next, I die cut the word happy from the This is Magic cut file, covered it in embossing ink and hear embossed it using a black sparkling embossing powder. You should see how much it shines in real life!!! To complete the sentiment, I used a sticker from Sentiment/Thinking of You. I adhered the stickers to a piece of cardstock and made some very detailed trimming around it.

For the second card, I started with a stenciled background. Of course, I made my own stencil using SRM's Heavy Weight Stencil Sheet. As I've said many times, I adore this product :)

This time I used the word Hello from the digital cut file and, like on the first card, I covered it with heat embossing powder. I added three layers of embossing powder and the result is fantastic! Looks like a giant enamel word! To complete the card I used a sentiment and a butterfly from We've Got Your Sticker/Hello. I love that this sheet has some white sentiments too!!! I also modified the butterfly center using a Copic marker and embellished it with rhinestones.

Creating these cards was super fun! One of the things I like the most about die cutting words from digital files is that you can make them the size you want. I hope you'll give this a try and have some fun combining digi files with SRM goodies! Thanks for visiting!

17 Turtles Bee Happy Tag by Cassonda

Hello SRM Fans!! Cassonda here with you today to share with you a sweet project featuring a 17turtles cut file called Everyday Carnival Tickets AND some fun SRM products.

The base for my HUGE tag is actually some package backing. Never throw those away...some companies have the prettiest packaging. :)  I added some springtime papers by Doodlebug for a yellow background and dotted papers for the scallops. I love how they look when they're layered all together. I also tucked in some pieces of a Gold Lace Doily. 

I'm a layers kind of girl so after my background area was set I went to town making my tag pretty. I added a banner sticker from the We've Got Your Border/Bright set across the top, a Life is good Sticker Sentiment a little bee from Jane's Doodles Garden Friends clear stamps and some ribbon with a button to tie it up. I wanted some of my tickets to be solid and some to be open. So when I sent the file to my silhouette I made sure I had both options ready. The file includes 4 designs to choose from....I think the camera is my favorite. :)

SRM/17 Turtles Layout by Christine

Welcome back to day #3 of the 17 Turtles/SRM celebration!

I love cut files and I think SRM Stickers & 17turtles is such a fabulous pairing! I am so excited to see what the rest of the team has to share with you!  Christine joining you today with a layout that features SRM Stickers and the Floral Bouquet file from 17turtles.

I decided to cut my flowers in white and back them with various colors of vellum.  I used a medium weight cardstock and because it was a detailed cut I set my Depth at 3 and my Speed at 30.  My blade was set at 4.  I got a perfectly clean cut using my Silhouette at those settings! I then put them together to create a wreath on the layout.

I love the softness of the vellum against the black and white but this file would also look neat unbacked or using some patterned papers!  I used a fine tip glue pen to attach the vellum.

To carry on the Black and White color scheme I used the We've Got Your Sticker Sweet set.  I used the big "Sweet" for my title and put it right onto the picture.  I then used white word stickers  to create a visual triangle on the layout.  Embellishing around it with some gems and enamel hearts helped add a little sparkle.

And today we welcome Juliana as a Guest Designer!  Juliana is a super talented crafter and designer not to mention one of my very favorite people!  She was a member of the SRM design team in 2013 and we love her work and are so happy to welcome her back.  

For her project today Juliana has created an adorable Easter project using SRM's new Kraft Window Boxes.  These boxes are great for cards or for treats as well.  And Juliana used SRM's new Jane's Doodles Springtime clear stamps to decorate her box and her card.  The "Hoppy Easter" cut file is perfect for this project and she created just for this post.  How fun!  It's available in her shop today!

What a happy or should I say "hoppy" font!  It goes perfectly with that little stamped bunny, flowers and butterflies.  And I love the "grass" Juliana has added across the bottom. 

Love how Juliana created a matching card to go with her little treat box.  That gift is going to make someone very "hoppy"! :)
