Hi everyone! Cathy here with you today, sharing a quick and easy idea for a baby gift. I started with a mason jar and painted it with some light blue chalk paint..easy peasy, but a bit boring. So I decided to add some of SRM's new 4 inch White Lace and bit of Caribbean Baker's Twine around the top of the jar. It dressed up the plain jar just perfect. All I had to do next was add some pretty pink flowers.
I used one of SRM's new linen bags, this bag is 4x6! So it was perfect for adding a sweet little scene to the front and holding a couple of little baby toys! I used a 4 inch round white doily for my base and added some Simple Stories Hello Baby embellishments, then the final finishing touches with SRM's Take 2 Baby Stickers by the Dozen. I used the border stickers along the bottom of the bag...they stick wonderfully and securely. Then I added the " Oh Baby" sentiment on a. SRM 1 1/2 inch punched light blue circle. Adorable!
I decided to add a little tag to the jar. So I used another 4 inch white doily, again using the Simple Stories Hello Baby line and more borders from the Take 2 Baby Stickers by the Dozen. To hang the little tag from one of the flower stems I created the little lace hanger with just a twist of
SRM's new 2 inch white lace and a Caribbean Baker's Twine bow!
A simple gift with a big effect. I really love the look of the lace on the chalky finished jar. Simple and stunning!
