Today Latrice Murphy gets a little dirty and plays around with SRM's new Stenciling material. It's easy to cut, adheres perfectly to stay in place while stenciling.
Latrice created come pirate party goodie bags for her boys upcoming birthday party. She could not believe how easy and fast these were to create. She tried it on both burlap bags and muslin bags and she even created a video for us!
First Latrice cut the skull and cross bones out using her Silhouette.
She affixed the stencil to the muslin bag. The stencil material is repositionable and has adhesives the lasts with many repeated uses.
She dabbed the bag with black ink.
And the results are stunning! Here's the muslin bag.
And here's the burlap bag. Which one is your favorite?
Here's Latrice's stash of goodie bags for the party. The boys will go on a treasure hunt and fill their bags with goodies and that will be their party favor and thank you gift for attending the party. The "Thank You" sentiments Latrice used for the tag are SRM's Thank You Stickers by the Dozen. Plus she used solid red twine to tie them on.
Here's the VIDEO. Sit back, relax and enjoy.

what a fun idea.. thanks for sharing..
In the video Latrice mentions this works with the Silhouette, does it also work with steel dies and a Vagabond machine? I don't own a Silhouette but I've been wanting to make some stencils using my dies. Great project, btw!
Love this! It turned out awesome! I love using stencils and am so happy SRM has the stencil sheets to create my own. Thanks for sharing!
