Guest Designer - Joscelyne Cutchens

We are so excited to welcome Joscelyne Cutchens as a guest designer here today on the SRM Blog.  Joscie, which is her nickname, is an amazing crafter having won the Gallery Idol competition over at Paper Crafts in 2012.

In addition to being a talented crafter, Joscelyne also has her own line of craft products.  We asked her to share some of her favorite Bossy Joscie Christmas flair products with our designers, do a guest design spot and have a week of celebration of all things Bossy Joscie!  So let's get started!

Here's the Modern Christmas Flair that Joscelyn and all of our designers are using this week and next.  Yes, that's right… 2 weeks of Bossy Joscie fun!

For her project Joscelyne uses a SRM Muslin Bag.  She says she's quite smitten with the gold on muslin on the bags :) Here's what she did:

Joscie used a SRM small muslin bag, washi tape, bold acrylic paint and a brush for this project.

She masked off the bottom section of the drawstring bag with the washi tape.

Joscie painted a light coat of gold acrylic paint on the bag and set it on a flashlight to dry.

All painted, her bag is dry and ready for some embellishments.

Joscie ironed her bag and then added a SRM Punched Piece, mounted a Bossy Joscie flair and some pom poms on the bottom!  Now that's adorable!

WOW!  Love that metallic paint on SRM's muslin bag!  What a fun and festive idea for Christmas treats. Thank you Joscie for joining us today with such a fun holiday idea!

Great idea to embellish and bling up a muslin bag. Something even the kids could attempt.
