Guest Designer; Juliana Michaels

 Please welcome Juliana Michaels to the SRM Blog today.  What a multi faceted, talented crafter she is!  Juliana loves her SRM and we love seeing all the beautiful creations she's come up with.   

Let's meet Juliana up close and personal! 

Hello!  My name is Juliana Michaels from Cleveland, OH.  I grew up loving art, crafting and photography thanks to a creative mother who loved to paint, sew and draw.  She also loved to photograph our daily lives and kept all of our photos in albums, forming the basis for my love of scrapbooking.  

I've been scrapping for a little over 15 years and I have been fortunate to design for several different manufacturers.  I am currently designing for Bo Bunny, Bella Blvd, The Paper Bakery Kit Clud and Northridge Publishing's Crucut Magazine.  I have also had my work featured in multiple publications, including Paper Crafts, Creating Keepsakes,  Cricut Magazine, Card Trends, Scrapbook Trends and Simply Handmade.  

When I'm not creating, I am a wife to my best friend and love of my life.  I have a fondness for coffee, Dr. Pepper, Mexican food, tutles and antiquing.  In my spare time I enjoy working out, cooking, gardening, and reading science and historical fiction.

Now let's get to Juliana's projects that are always filled with lots of unexpected details.  This lovely layered and textured layout is no exception.  

The "make a wish" clear sticker from SRM's Birthday Border is sprinkled thoughout the layout.  Looks like Juliana really likes those borders! Love the Sticker Stitches that are top and bottom of the layout. 

Juliana loves the new clear pillow boxes from SRM!  What a gorgeous gift set with a card and gift box Juliana made using this products and some of SRM's Wedding Stickers.  The pillow boxes are perfect for wedding favors.  Such beautiful spring colors!  And love the touch of Pink Sorbet twine on the butterflies. 

The pillow box is layered, textured and embossed using cork, twine and a trio of beautiful patterned papers. Juliana loves the way that the SRM clear stickers really do melt down into the patterned paper and onto the clear pillow box as well. 

Continuing on in the same beautiful color scheme and with the cork butterflies as well, Juliana created an intricate layout using lots of different SRM Stickers, especially borders.

And the SRM Labels by the Dozen are perfect for journaling.

Shifting gears and color scheme, Juliana treats us to a patriotic project using 3 different sizes of SRM Tubes decorated with Patriotic Borders and lots of delicious twine in red, white and blue!  The tubes are topped off with flags from SRM's Stickers by the Dozen Patriotic design.  We salute you Juliana for this trio of Tubes!

SRM Stickers have become a favorite of mine since the day I was first introduced to them!  They are so versatile and easy to use for any level of crafter.  I especially love the border stickers and new pillow boxes!  I am thrilled to have been given another opportunity to share some SRM projects with you and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them!
