New Year's Party by Angi

Here's a really fun idea for a New Year's celebration for kids or teens from Angi Barrs.  Instead of a New Year's Eve party, Angi suggests a daytime celebration.

Here's how it works:

New Year's Eve is not only for adults.

How about doing something fun for the kiddos & teens in your life?

Throw them a "Noon Year's Eve Party"!!!!

We'll need an official invitation, of course!

Start the countdown, grab your fave snacks, turn up the music, and set a fun and festive table.

You can use real glasses for teens and plastic ones for the smaller kiddos.

Place popcorn, candy, or sparkling apple cider in the glasses. 

Dress up each glass and table place cards with SRM Stickers.

Labels by the Dozen Gift Set by Corri

Corri Garza used SRM's Labels by the Dozen and a medium sized clear purse to create the most adorable birthday gift set.  

First she embellished the purse with a small pinwheel, added a label and filled it with shred.

Corri then made a coordinating card measuring 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" using another Label by the Dozen embellished with a yummy cupcake from SRM's We've Got Your Sticker HAPPY design.  The "make a wish" sentiment is also from that sheet. 

Put them together and you have the most adorable pair!

Valentine Mini Cards by Laurel

Laurel Seabrook is getting a jump start on her Valentine's Day Cards.  Every year she makes her own Valentines to give to the students in her class.  The SRM Stickers came in very handy and will definitely make creating the rest of her cards as quick and easy as these ones were.

Using the Valentine Stickers by the Dozen, Laurel can create 12 cards from just one sheet!

And the Valentine Borders are just adorable!

Here are 4 of Laurel's cards.  Now she needs to make more for the rest of the students but that will be easy peasy using her SRM!  Lucky students!

Wedding Ensemble Tutorial by Shelly

If you have a wedding in your family coming up, take note.  Shelly Kurth has created lots of lovely projects that can be used at a wedding shower or for favors at the wedding and they are so devine.  And she's given us a step by step tutorial for you to follow for any or all of the items in this project. Here's a photo of all the items that Shelly made including a Tiny TUBE, a card, a pillow box and a glassine bag.    

For the tube, cut up or shred some pieces of white and black cardstock. Then add sticker to any color of cardstock to match your wedding colors. Add all in tube. On the outside of the tube, add sticker going up the side. Then add sticker around the top on the cap and add twine.

For the card, take white cardstock and cut to a smaller size card. Stamp on flourish, using pink ink. Add SRM sticker at bottom of card. Then take SRM heart sticker and place on white cardstock (cut to size, if need be) and use foam squares on back. Add to middle of card.



For pillow box, take a SRM Wedding border sticker and place on white cardstock (cut to size, if need be). Then adhere to pillow box. Next, take dies and use white cardstock to create two ovals. After, add SRM Love sticker to the small oval. Then place a foam square on the backside. Adhere it to the top of the bigger oval. Add enamel dots and a piece of twine, tied in a bow. Once done, adhere to pillow box and fill with mints, candies or other goodies. 



For the glassine bag and XOXO pencils, Shelly just used one SRM Wedding border sticker on the bag. And she just used twine to tie the pencils together.

Now it's time to tuck all of your goodies inside the Glassine Bag.  

What a lovely treat for your guests.  They are going to love this idea!  It's a simple DIY project but it's sensational!

Wedding Favors by Michelle

Michelle Giraud loves the idea of wedding guests being able to pick their favorite favor to bring home, so she made containers to hold all three of her favorites - a mini cupcake, a cookie and candy. Sweet!  She coordinated the packages so they all have hand rolled roses, the same patterned paper and SRM's Wedding Stickers by the Dozen on each container.  Michelle used SRM's Glassine Bags, Square Clear Box and Mini Tube for her favors.

The 2x2x2 clear box is the perfect size for a mini cupcake.  Decorated along the front with the small sentiments from the sticker set.  The handrolled rose and die cut leaves are accented with a little bow of green twine.

The tube has a rolled insert and is then decorated with the "Love is" sticker from the set.  Attached is a rolled rose and the cap is wrapped in twine.

The glassine bag was embossed for texture, the top has been folded over and decorated with a scalloped edge, designer paper, rolled rose with leaves and a small Green Peapod twine bow to hold it closed.

What a tantalizing trio of wedding favor ideas!  Thanks Michelle for all the inspiration!

Upcycled Layout by Yvonne

Yvonne Yam loves to re-purpose almost everything including this layout on a pie plate.  How fun! She did her layout featuring my nephews. The base was covered up with torn book paper and colored with Faber Castell Gelatos.

Then Yvonne decorated with bits and pieces of found items in her stash and SRM stickers including Express Yourself Everyday Boy and We've Got Your Sticker Hello.

Now that's what I call re-cycling and what a very cool result.  Thanks Yvonne for your mixed media treat!  What a great gift this would make for a Grandparent any time of year.  

Tube Stocking Stuffers by Latrice

Latrice Murphy loves SRM Tubes so much! Today she's sharing how fun they are to create as Christmas Stocking Stuffers. And there are so many fun things that fit into the SRM tubes. Latrice found out that lip balm was the perfect size for the Skinny tube! She was at Target looking in her favorite section (the One Spot) and found $1 flavors of lip balm. How perfect for stocking stuffers she thought. Or perfect as gifts for her daughter to give to her friends! Latrice got to work and pulled out large gemstones, twine, and her SRM stickers. And here is what she came up with.   

How festive the decorations are on these TUBES! The stickers are perfect as are the gemstones and twine.

Christmas Mini Cards by Corri

Corri Garza loved these 2 x 2 squares she found in the Silhouette Store and knew immediately that they would make adorable mini cards teamed with SRM Quick Cards.  

Corri used SRM's Quick Cards Peace, Merry and Believe for her sentiments.

What a fun and fabulous trio of mini cards!

She popped them into a SRM Glassine bag, embossed and decorated the bag with some Labels by the Dozen Black & White, Fancy Sticker Sentiments Christmas and Charcoal Solid Twine and created a perfect hostess gift.  Great inspiration for this time of year!

Christmas Labels Greetings by Roberta

Roberta Rosi loves SRM's Labels by the Dozen and thought it would be fun to create lots of little Christmas goodies using the Christmas Greetings sheet.  

Roberta loves the look of Kraft paper with Christmas colors.  She first created 6 mini cards simply decorating a double kraft cardstock with the stickers, a little snowflake, a bit of bling, some matching green and red baker's twine and little red bells.  Perfection!

With the same set of stickers, she decorated SRM's Merry & Bright pencils with Christmas Sentiment Labels.  These could become a fun place card at your holiday table or they can be used to decorate packages.  Roberta added a bit of twine and little bells to the pencils too!

And then Roberta continued to create using SRM's 4" x 6" Kraft bags.  She embossed them with a fine pin dot.  She added a banner with the Labels by the Dozen and closed the bags using a small wooden stick decorated with a snowflake and bling.  And don't forget the twine! 

Put them all together and you've got lots of fun goodies for the holidays.  How would you use them?
