Hello! Cathy A here today with a fun idea for personalization with chalkboard markers.
Have you ever been to a party and put your glass down only to come back and not know which one is yours? Well I have the solution and it is so quick and easy and because you write the names with a chalk marker you can wipe it off and re-use it.
Using some small Image Craft Metal Circle disks, I cover the rough side with SRM's new EASY Chalkboard Marker. Give it a couple of coats and let it dry completely between layers. Once dry, put a layer of white chalkboard over the disk using the 6mm white Bistro marker and let it dry. Once dry, wipe clean with a damp cloth. Now you have a permanent blackboard on your disks which you can change when you want to add them to wine glasses for new guests.
Now use your florescent and white fine tip markers to add the names of the people of the disks. Add a pattern around the edge of the disk to embellish.
If you make a mistake or want to change the name, simply wipe the blackboard disk with a damp cloth. Then put the new name onto the disk.
FYI...To attach the names to the stems of the glasses, use jump rings and a wire spring. Be sure to remove the backing of the other side of the disk.
How fun to have a set of these wine glass markers ready for any festive occasion. Just add the names of your guests and you are good to go!
