Ready for Football! by Shantie

I love everything that Shantie creates.  She is a prolific and amazing crafter!  Today we welcome her back for another term and I'm exited to see what she comes up with!  Let's hear from Shantaie in her own words!

Like 64% of the American population our family loves football! More than anyone is my oldest daughter who is such a fan, she even had a buffalo bills birthday party some weeks ago! For her birthday all she asked for was jewelry and football tickets ;)  She was a cheerleader in high school, and joined the squad specifically so she could cheer on her school's football team!! As a fun favor these TUBES filled with red white and blue candies are football themed.

A wrapper of cardstock is embellished with two rows of white sticker stitches and we've got your number stickers to mimic the look of the 30 -50 yard line  (so cute) and a tag with a star spangled and glittered have a ball football... for that girly touch! The best part is the twine pom pom on the top, made with SRM's Twinery bakers twine in midnight blue and red.

I bet you have a football fan in your house, these are the perfect favors for a game, a party or just to share your team spirit!!!

Planner Pages by Tessa Buys

I love to plan with SRM stickers! Just about any sheet of stickers has something that I can add to my monthly calendar or weekly spreads. From seasons to themes, numbers to stitches, I love them all. I used dozens of SRM stickers to help decorate the September pages of my Memory Notebook:

My favorite stickers to use are the "We've Got Your Number/Extra Large-Black" stickers. Layered with washi tape and other decorative stickers, they are the perfect embellishment for a huge impact:

I also love the sticker stitches. Layered over washi tape or on their own, they make great accents and page breaks.

Themed stickers are great for birthdays, Sundays, seasons and holidays.

My favorite part about using SRM stickers in my planner is that they coordinate with any planner and any other paper crafting product. In fact, I'd say SRM stickers make the other stuff look good!

October Planner Fun by Cathy

Hi everyone! Cathy here with you today sharing an October Planner page that I created with my teen daughter's planner and a ton of SRM!  I haven't jumped into the whole planner rage that is sweeping across the paper crafting industry, but thought I would give it a try with her boring old planner.  Now I am hooked, so fun and quick!  I will be creating one for myself now!  SRM has so many great stickers that the possibilities are endless and you can personalize them so easily!

I added some washi tape and layered it with a SRM border sticker for a bit more color at the bottom of the page!

So much fun and done in just minutes!

Here's a list of all the SRM Sticker supplies that I used!

Getting Organized with SRM Stickers by Christine

We often use our paper craft supplies for fancy, fun, and whimsical creations.  But every once in a while we find a really sensible use for them that will enhance our everyday life.  Christine joining you today to show how I used supplies from SRM to create a new filing system! What!?!  Yep, a filing system, with paper craft supplies!

Our family is busy and with four kids, I have to be organized or things get ugly.  One of my biggest weaknesses is having too many piles of paper work.  Bills, invitations, school newletters, they take over fast.  And then I can't find anything!  So when I saw this post recently on creating a "Tickler File" on Home Solutions 101.  The basic idea is to jog your memory on upcoming events, tickets, bills due, etc.  Click on the link and it will take you right through how to set it up! It's a system I knew would work for me so I got right to creating it!

Using Number Stickers and Calendar stickers are the obvious part and SRM has a variety of them available in the Calendar section of the store.! I used months from the Year of Memories Sticker Set.  But wait til you see how I made the file tabs!

Our new Wafer Thin Die for the Decorative Calendar Sticker works perfectly!  I cut enough to make tabs for 31 days and 12 months.

Running it thru a xyron machine allowed me to have a strong adhesive when I secured it to the file folders.

So there you have it!  Just another way to use those paper crafting skills and supplies for something that came make your life even better!

Basketball Cupcake Toppers by Christine

He dribbles, he shoots, he scores!

Hi SRM Stickers fans!  Christine joining you today with a winning team treat project! As a sports loving mom I am always on the lookout for ways to make special treats for my kids and their teams.  Today I am going to share with you how I used the new Take 2 Stickers by the Dozen - Basketball stickers to create cupcake toppers.

SRM Stickers Blog - Basketball Cupcake Toppers by Christine - #basketball #teamtreats #punchedpieces #Take2stickers #tickers #teamtreats

SRM Stickers has all the supplies you need to make these cupcake toppers and even personalize them with the kids numbers!

SRM Stickers Blog - Basketball Cupcake Toppers by Christine - #basketball #teamtreats #punchedpieces #Take2stickers #tickers #teamtreats

First off attach a basketball from the Take2: Stickers By The Dozen/Basketball Stickers to a Medium White Punched Piece. Put some adhesive on the back of the punched piece and add a toothpick to it and then top it with another plain punched piece.

Use a border from the  Take2: Stickers By The Dozen/Basketball Stickers and put it onto cardstock.  Cut it out and separate each "Basketball is Life" saying.  Adding the cardstock to it makes it easier to add to the topper without a sticky part hanging over.

Use We've Got Your Number Small/White to add each kiddos number to the toppers.

My son's team enjoyed having these at a special basketball tournament and I know your kids will enjoy them too!

Basketball is Life by Shannon

Basketball is Life!

★...well it is in the Morgan household…★

There's a forward, a guard, a coach and a super fan...I'm the super fan, of course. This year was pretty special because both of the *{mighty morgans}* played as #11. Eleven is one of our favorite numbers, second only to lucky #7.

I have numerous, numerous pictures, but I wanted to scrap these pictures  before all of the other ones. ❤
SRM made this layout fabulous:

December Documented Album by Christine

Hi SRM Fans!  Christine joining you today.  I have never done a December Documented Album and have always wanted to!  My December is always busy so I decided to create the base in advance and then I can just add pictures and embellishments as I go.  As I was thinking through my process, SRM Stickers kept coming to mind so I decided to dive right into that! Today I am going to share with you the starting process and some ideas for how to use SRM Stickers on your base pages - especially focusing on the numbers.  And remember, you can create this album anytime and drop your December photos in!  After the holidays would be perfect!

SRM Stickers Blog - December Documented Album by Christine - #decemberdaily #christmas #minialbum #stickers #doilies #punchedpieces

Part of the reason I knew that SRM was perfect for this job was because I knew I had ready made numbers and months that would look good with nearly any patterned paper.  I loved this tree patterned paper and just added the December from the Calender Months Large/Snappy Set. I knew I definitely wanted the year on the cover as well and the We've Got Your Numbers - Small were perfect for adding it to the corner.  We could be here all day if I show you all 25 pages of the album so I am just going to share a few of them that I really love!

SRM Stickers Blog - December Documented Album by Christine - #decemberdaily #christmas #minialbum #stickers #doilies #punchedpieces

To keep things easy I stuck entirely with one patterned paper line.  The line had numbers with it too so for some added interest I used those on a few pages.  To accent this page I used a Merry Christmas sticker from the Christmas Stickers by the Dozen and a Peace Love Joy border sticker from the Take 2 Stickers by the Dozen: Christmas.  As you can see there is plenty of room to add a picture and some journaling for the day.

Oh how I love SRM's 4 inch doilies!  So they made lots of appearances in the album :)  I also used a Merry Christmas round sticker from the Take 2 Stickers by the Dozen: Christmas to add a pop of red.  The border is from We've Got Your Border Christmas.  I was surprised how much I liked that against the polka dots!  The 6 comes from the We've Got Your Number - XL Black set.  These numbers in black and white area simply awesome... perfect for adorning everything from layouts to pocket pages to mini albums!

The new punched pieces are also a fabulous addition to mount your numbers onto!  More from the We've Got Your Border Christmas helped to trim this page along with a cute little gingerbread from the Stickers by the Dozen Gingerbread Man set.

This last page that I am going to share gives you one more idea for mounting your numbers and that is to use SRM Labels. Since my patterned papers had black in them I opted to use some of the Black White Labels by the Dozen.

Now that you've seen some of the base how about a look at some of the finished pages!  Yes, this mom of four has managed to get some pages done already!  YAY!

December Daily by Shannon

Hello!  Shannon Morgan here with a special weekend blog post all about making a December Daily.

Beautiful to look at...ooohing and aahhhing at everyone's delightful creations (except for when you look down at your own desk of chaos), that December Daily Album... it simultaneously creates joy and anxiety in the hearts of paper crafters everywhere!

Did you know there's really no wrong or right way to create your December Daily? You don't have to document everyday...notice I started with the 2nd? You don't have to have amazingly perfect pages...the point of the December Daily is to create memories for your family...don't forget the true reality of what the DD is. Don't fall prey to comparison, do it your own way. ❤

I'm sharing with you today my December Daily page for 12.2.2014...it's perfectly imperfect.

I have an odd sized December Daily album this year, but it's ok, it challenges me to scrap in a new way.

I began with a misted card stock base. The fun part? You can use things from your December experiences and ventures to add directly to your pages...I'm sure you can figure out what this page is going to be about! You'll find SRM We've Got Your Sticker/Merry along the lefthand side, an embossed glassine bag (Chevron 4.75" X 6.75") and We've Got Your Number Extra Large Black to get this page started.

I am a fan of the layering, you may not be. You can continue to add layers like I did, or you can stop here and add your picture. If you want to continue layering, you need a "lighter" layer. SRM Glassine Bags work awesome for this, they're hearty and can take a beating distress wise, but are airy and perfect for a layer feel. I added some Sticker Stitches/Christmas to the Embossed Glassine Bag. I finished off by overlapping a 3 X 4 punched "card" to the layout as shown.

I am ready to add my picture and some love and bits here and there. ❤ You'll find that SRM's Punched Pieces are a perfect fit. I tucked a tag behind the black, large scallop on the left side.  I have a sweet bit of Bossy Joscie Flair too. The Starbucks logo is actually a red cup cut out and corner rounded, I wrapped it with some Charcoal Twine

All this December Daily needs now is some final touches and journaling. I added some more Peapod twine to the tag and used some clear adhesive to glue it down. I added a punched heart with a foam dot. There's a sweet Santa (We've Got Your Sticker/Christmas) peeking out at you and some sequins for holiday sparkle! I also added some journaling with tiny alphabet stickers.

Here's a few close ups of the SRM goodness throughout the layout.

Thanks for letting me share part of my December with you! I hope it inspires you to document your December too! ❤

Christmas Advent Calendar by Annette

Good Morning SRM Stickers friends! Annette Allen here with you today to share a fun advent calendar.  What a great way to countdown to Christmas!  Be sure to click on each image to enlarge it and see all the details.

SRM Stickers Blog - Christmas Advent Calendar by Annette - #christmas #calendar #adventcalendar #stickers #glassinebags

I have always wanted to make an advent calendar for Christmas and with all the fun goodies SRM Stickers has to offer well it just came easy. I started with SRM Glassine Bags 3.25x4.75 Flat and used Stickers We've Got Your Number White & Black Large. I used a die for the little kraft ornament.
Next I added some of favorite Christmas sayings from We've Got Your Border ChristmasStickers By the Dozen Christmas and Stickers By the Dozen Gingerbread Man.

I folded the Glassine Bags and added a cute clothes pin for hanging.

SRM Stickers Blog - Christmas Advent Calendar by Annette - #christmas #calendar #adventcalendar #stickers #glassinebags

Of course Christmas Eve and Christmas have to be super special so I added a die cut gold star and green die cut wreath.

SRM Stickers Blog - Christmas Advent Calendar by Annette - #christmas #calendar #adventcalendar #stickers #glassinebags

I thought I would finish each day off with a fun die cut bow rotating each day with a sweet deer wrapped with gold thread and a fun snowman. Hanging them with these little clothespins makes for an easy project. Making this the perfect way to countdown my favorite time of year.

SRM Stickers Blog - Christmas Advent Calendar by Annette - #christmas #calendar #adventcalendar #stickers #glassinebags

I used an old barn wood frame topped off with a fun Christmas sign.

Now who's excited for Christmas?  It's time to start counting down!
Over this Thanksgiving weekend it might be fun to create a countdown Advent calendar with your family.  What a great project that would be!

Paint Chip Inspired Mini Calendar by Lorena

Hey SRM friends! Lorena Cantó here with a fun and easy project starring the awesome Standard Mini Calendar Stickers for 2015 and the medium sized glassine bags. My idea was inspired by simple and graphic design that is still very visually appealing. Think paint chips and Pantone :)

Ok, let's get started!
Here's a view of the finished project packed inside a glassine bag and embellished with graphic strips that I cut and adhered to a cardstock rectangle. I added the year with the We've Got Your Number small stickers in black and attached everything together with a mini clothespin.

I wanted to make a calendar that could be pinned to a cork or bulletin board and changed every month. No bulk, perfect for the office. So I started die cutting 12 tags and adhering a 1/2 inch color strip to each. The idea was to use a color that matched each month. Once I had all my strips, I adhered the calendars making sure the characters were perfectly lined with the strips, and finished each tag with a matching hole reinforcer.

Inside the bag I also added a clear tack and matching punched circles for each month. This way, the recipient can adhere the coordinating circle to the tack when he or she (because this gift is also perfect for a guy!) changes the monthly tags.

And although this project was intended to be a gift... frankly my dears, I am very tempted to keep it for myself!

Thanks for visiting!  Now go have yourself a crafty day!
