Birthday Cards by Laurel

Laurel Seabrook is a teacher and each year makes birthday cards for each of the students in her class.  Lucky students!  Wonder if they know their card is made by one of the top paper crafters?  Here are 2 cards that Laurel created for girls in her class. 

Laurel loves using SRM Stickers since with a bit of layering and some stickers her cards go together so quickly.  

And Laurel has plenty of Take 2 Birthday stickers and Birthday Borders to create many more cards!

Birdie Pillow Box by Shelly

Shelly Kurth has fallen hard for the new Kraft Pillow Boxes from SRM!  She just can't get enough of these fun containers.  It's definitely a love thing! :)  

For this project Shelly used a medium Kraft Pillow Box, some SRM Punched Pieces, We've Got Your Sticker PLUS, Borders, Buttercream twine and a mini clothespin. 

Love how Shelly used the new Punched Pieces.  They make any project a breeze!  She used a Large White Punched Piece and a Medium Pink one.  She added some Buttercream Twine to embellish the little scalloped circles and held it onto the pink punched piece using a mini clothespin.  Sweet!

And at the bottom, Shelly added a mini sentiment clear sticker from our Thank You Borders.  

What a perfect little way to say thanks!  You can make 4 of these little beauties using just one sticker.  And you can change the theme simply by using a different We've Got Your Stickers Plus!  They are available in the following designs:  Birdie, Birthday, Christmas, Halloween, Sweet and Thanks.

Shabby Chic Mini Calendar by Michelle

Need a great idea for using SRM's Mini Calendars to make a gift?  Sit back, relax and enjoy this idea from Michelle Giraurd.  When Michelle was making this project and she was stumped on what to do for the next step ...each time an SRM product was the perfect fit for what she needed. 

Michelle began by gluing the 4" round doilies together on each side of a clear rectangular box to form a square.   She trimmed off the top flaps of the clear box so it was open at the top, which made it the perfect pen & pencil holder.  

Michelle decided to go with girly colors because of the lace doilies so she added pink pencils from "XOXO".  The front of box was a perfect place for the Mini Decorative Calendar, which was adhered to white cardstock squares.  

 

Michelle adhered all the months to white cardstock squares.  The extra calendar months are hidden inside the pen holder tied with twine, while the current month is clipped to the front with a tiny clothespin decorated with solid pink twine.

What a darling idea!  Here are the products that Michelle used to create it:

Coffee Break Wall Art by Roberta

Roberta Rosi loves to take a coffee break and she's used SRM Vinyl to create a sign for her coffee area!  How fun!  

Roberta used SRM's Black Matte vinyl, a white frame, some patterned paper with a wood effect in shades of gray.  She cut the Black Matte Vinyl with her Silhouette to create the words "coffee break" and "pause café…" which is coffee break in Italian!  Bellissimo Roberta!  Brava!

Her new framed sign sits above her Espresso machine!  What a perfect setting!

Halloween Stenciled Bags by Juliana

In her own words, Juilana Michaels "had a blast stenciling on SRM muslin bags!".  She used SRM's new Punched Pieces die cuts, large white embossed and inked and small black for the backing of her Take 2 Halloween sticker.  Love how Juliana replaced the strings on her bags with hand dyed ribbon.  

The punched pieces are so much fun.  Love how Juliana embossed and inked them.

Juliana added ink with a blending sponge.  

Juliana can make 12 of these fun and fabulous bags from just 1 of these Halloween Take 2 Stickers by the Dozen.

She used the small muslin bag on this project measuring just 3" x 5"

Doily Layout by Yvonne

Yvonne Yam loves how SRM's 4" doilies are just the right size to use as a photo mat.  They look great on this mixed media project where Yvonne used stencils and mists.

Yvonne loves how the doilies are a very subtle way to add interest to your layout without adding bulk.  She used 2 wallet sized photos of her nephew.  Super cute!

And then she embellished her layout with lots of SRM clear stickers.  Love how she cut up the dots on the SRM Borders.  So fun and playful!

Patriotic Pillow Box by Shelly

Shelly Kurth can't get enough of the new Kraft Pillow Boxes from SRM!  She has created for us today a Patriotic box that could be used as a gift box or as a party favor for a 4th of July party!  And if you look closely, you can see that Shelley embossed her Kraft Pillow Box using a woodgrain embossing folder.  Yes, you can emboss these krafty boxes!  How fun! 

Shelly is loving the new Punched Pieces from SRM!  She used several colors (red and white) and all 3 sizes to mount her clear Patriotic SRM Stickers and then layered them and popped them up for extra dimension.  Punched Pieces come in 10 different colors and 3 different sizes.

Shelly added some Maraschino Red Twinery Twine and one of SRM's definition stickers to her pillow box and she's done! 

Super fun!  Super fast! And super cute!

You can use Shelly's idea for 4th of July or any holiday or occasion using Kraft Pillow Boxes, Punched Pieces, Twine and any SRM Sticker theme!  Thanks for the inspiration Shelly.  Your project is fab!

Love how so many of our design team members are using our new Punched Pieces.  It just makes their crafting so much easier.  No fuss, no muss, no tools.  Easy peasy!

Bundle of Joy Card by Laurel

Laurel Seabrook's daughter is expecting a baby girl in September and Laurel decided to make a darling onesie.  Not a real onesie, but a die cut card.  Adorable! 

Here's how Laurel made her darling card.

1.  Cut 2 files from plain cardstock to create the base.  

2.  Adhere them together along one side.  Laurel adhered hers along the shoulders.  

3.  Then she created the card front using SRM's We've Got Your Border Baby Girl design and Take 2: Stickers by the Dozen Baby to create the "stripes".  

4.  Then she embellished it with some Buttercream Twinery Twine.  YUM! 

Not that's simply too cute!

Celebrate Independence Layout by Juliana

Juliana Michaels creates the most wonderful layouts and she really enjoyed creating this 4th of July scrapbook page using SRM Stickers for her title and accent pieces. 

Juliana placed some SRM clear stickers on patterned paper and used one of them as her "CELEBRATE" title.  

She also placed some on white cardstock to use as accent pieces.  

Juliana then add Twinery Twine and a mini clothespin to further embellish the tag.

It's in the Bag! by Roberta

For a summer garden party, Roberta Rosi has created some krafty cutlery holders using SRM's small kraft bags measuring 4" x 6 3/4" as containers.  

Roberta embossed the bottom of the kraft bags with small dots.

She decorated the top of the kraft bags with SRM 4" doilies folded in half.  Roberta loves SRM doilies.  The are great for so many uses.  They could even be a coaster to set drinks on at the party.

Roberta decorated each doily with a small die cut butterfly and one sticker from SRM's Live Life Cooking series.  

 And at the bottom of each bags she added Caribbean blue baker's twine. YUM!

Love how Roberta added coordinated napkins and straws in with her utensils.  Totally fab!

I'm going to be CASing this project for a summer family party we have each year.  Thanks for the inspiration Roberta!  Love this idea!
