Hoppy Birthday! by Michele

Michele here with a non holiday card for you!  

People are still having birthdays in the midst of Thanksgiving and Christmas right? ;)  I couldn't resist using these adorable frogs in the Garden Friends set by Jane's Doodles. I stamped them on top of each other using a light brown ink. I water colored each of the frogs as well as the sky and grass. 

I added black enamel to the eyes and once that was dry, added glossy accents to the rest of the eye for some fun dimension! 

With a white gel pen I added dots to the frogs'spots, a bit of silk ribbon, and my sentiment stamped at the bottom.  :)

Summery Frog Card by Lorena

Hello, SRM friends! Lorena here with a card perfect for Summer. I had a lot of fun creating this one, and I even got some help from my husband! He has amazing drawing skills, so when I want to modify a stamped image, he's my go to person.

For this card, I wanted the adorable frog from SRM's Jane's Doodles Garden Friends stamp set to sit on a leaf floating in the middle of a tiny pond. So I stamped the frog on white cardstock and he drew the leaf and the pond around the critter. How cute is the resulting image? I then colored everything with Copic markers and trimmed around.

The sentiment comes from Sentiment/Summer stickers sheet, which is full of great sayings for this time of the year. I die cut a banner form patterned paper and adhered the sticker, which fit perfectly.

Finally, I partially embossed a card base to add a bit of texture to the card and adhered two strands of baker's twine in Peapod. I like how the stripes in the twine frame the froggie as he relaxes in the pond :)

A Gift for the Teacher by Lorena

Hello, SRM friends! With Summer quickly approaching, school will soon come to an end, so it's time to get those teacher gifts ready! It's Lorena here today to share an idea to package those well deserved gifts.

When I was creating this project, I did it with kids in mind. The design is simple enough that your kids can help you put it together, maybe coloring the stamped apple, adhering the border stickers or helping to die cut the foam letters. It may not turn super duper perfect, but I'm sure their teacher will love that they helped creating the package :)

I started with a 3x3x2 kraft box, and spiced it up with two red border stickers from Sticker Stitches/Christmas (Yay for using Christmas products all year round!). I wanted to add some white to make the borders pop even more, and the fine tip Bistro Chalk White Marker was perfect for that! I added white dots to the patterns. It takes a few minutes for the marker to dry, so be careful not to smudge it!

The "thank you" sticker comes from We've Got Your Sticker Plus/Thanks. Of course, no teacher gift is complete without an apple, so I stamped, colored and fussy cut the cute apple from Garden Friends stamp set and adhered it with foam tape. To spell "teacher" I die cut the letters from craft foam and adhered them to the box. Easy peasy!

Turtle Love by Michele

Good day my friends! Michele here with a sweet little love card for your favorite someone!  I used this new set from Jane's Doodles called Garden Friends.

I colored this cute little turtle with Copic markers and added a bit of glitter Stickles to her shell.  The sentiment was stamped on vellum.

I used a variety of designer papers, a sheer ribbon, a glittery sentiment, and a scattering of pearls and rhinestones to finish it off.

Hello Card by Michele

Hello there! Michele here with a fun little card to brighten someone's day!

I used this adorable new stamp set by Jane's Doodles called, Garden Friends. 

 The little bird was colored with Copic markers and cut out.  I stamped his wing again, colored it, and cut that out as well.  Both pieces were given a generous dose of glossy accents and his wing was sprinkled with glitter.  When it was dry, I attached the wing with foam tape and squished a bit of white satin ribbon under it. 

The background was done with paper scraps.  Each piece was given a bit of black ink on all sides and then adhered to yellow card stock.  I cut a triangular piece for the sentiment and attached my bird.  I slipped a SRM gold doily under it for a bit of interest.

17 Turtles Bee Happy Tag by Cassonda

Hello SRM Fans!! Cassonda here with you today to share with you a sweet project featuring a 17turtles cut file called Everyday Carnival Tickets AND some fun SRM products.

The base for my HUGE tag is actually some package backing. Never throw those away...some companies have the prettiest packaging. :)  I added some springtime papers by Doodlebug for a yellow background and dotted papers for the scallops. I love how they look when they're layered all together. I also tucked in some pieces of a Gold Lace Doily. 

I'm a layers kind of girl so after my background area was set I went to town making my tag pretty. I added a banner sticker from the We've Got Your Border/Bright set across the top, a Life is good Sticker Sentiment a little bee from Jane's Doodles Garden Friends clear stamps and some ribbon with a button to tie it up. I wanted some of my tickets to be solid and some to be open. So when I sent the file to my silhouette I made sure I had both options ready. The file includes 4 designs to choose from....I think the camera is my favorite. :)
