'Tis the Season by Juliana

Hello!  Juliana here today sharing with you the Christmas cards that I've sent out this year to special friends and family using SRM's Jane's Doodles 'Tis the Season stamp.  I made about 25 of them and I love the way they turned out! 

I'm a sucker for a cute Santa and I knew when I first saw this little cutie that I wanted to use it to create my Christmas cards this year.

I made a mask using a Post-It Note. This allowed me to layer the Santa image over the Christmas tree. Layering stamped images is such a fun technique and thanks to my MISTI it was a breeze to stamp both images.

The hardest part about these cards was coloring in all of the images with colored pencils. However, I really enjoyed the process and found it quite relaxing to sit and color each and every one of them!

Christmas Ornament or Christmas Tag by Annette

Time to get excited for Christmas. 

I like to get a head start on my Christmas projects.

Today I am playing with SRM Stickers:

We've Got your Border Christmas

Stickers By the Dozen Christmas

White Lace Doilies (4" round)

Jane's Doodles: Tis The Season!

I found these cute wood tags and adhered a White Lace Doilies (4" round) to it.  Trim the extra lace around the tag.

Next I stamped the images from Jane's Doodles: Tis The Season! on a scrap piece of card-stock.  

Color, trim and set aside.

Got to have some fun snow on this cute ornament.

You can buy this at any craft store in the Christmas section. 

Time to piece it all together.

Choose your favorite SRM Stickers and adhere to the ornament.

The stickers stick perfectly.. make sure and trim around the ornament.

Using foam adhesives pop those fun colored images.

I used May Arts burlap string for hanging the ornaments and you are done.

Simple and Sweet.

The paper I used is from Ikea. It is a roll of paper for kids to doodle on. First I did all the stamping. It inked up perfectly. Bonus it is super cheap.

Next I cut out each and every little candy sticker from Stickers By the Dozen Take 2 Christmas.  I just love these little candy images. 

I wanted to add just a little more with this fun sentiment from Stickers By the Dozen Christmas.

Now we are getting somewhere.

Well I think that just about does it.

Now it is time to wrap this cute SRM Stickers Kraft Box 3x3x3.

This paper wrapped perfectly around and now time to add a fun pom pom using The Twinery: Solid Peapod Twine. I looked up on Pinterest to see how to create this fun pom pom and I have to say it was so easy to make.  Got to love Pinterest for tips on how to make stuff.

I thought it needed just a little more so I added this adorable Santa from Jane's Doodles: Tis The Season! and I colored him green.. why not right? I kind of had a green theme going on here so I went with it. Now it is time for you to give this a try.

Believe Reindeer Card by Tenia

Hey Y'all!!

Tenia here and hope all is well. I have a very fun card to show y'all using Jane's Doodles stamps and SRM Stickers....CHECK IT!!!

I created this card using the Jane's Doodles stamp Tis the Season set HERE and of course some yummy Sticker Stitches!!  They are my faves!

All you need for this fun card is ink, patterned paper, cardstock, sequins, stamps, stickers, embossing powder, washi and a heating tool. I had so much fun creating this card and I hope y'all enjoy it!!

Christmas Bags & Tags by Christine

Hi SRM fans!  I'm not gonna lie, I kind of love thinking about Christmas in July!  Christmas is my favorite time of year, so given the chance I will craft it in the off season too!  Today I am going to show you how I took some new products from SRM to make some Christmas goodies!  

First up some Christmas tags on the new Canvas Tags!

I love the "To" and "From" on this stamp.  They are perfect for gift tags and bags! And love all the little hearts, candy canes and holly too.  They give a nice finishing touch to any project.

This was super simple to make!  I used regular black ink and my stamps. The new 'Tis the Season stamps were perfect for this! I then colored it in with a permanent marker (nothing fancy). 

I also added Stamped Stitches to the tag just to add a little something extra. Could not be any more simple and will add a great personalized touch to my gifts!

I also did a canvas tag with the reindeer stamp from the set - he was a little trickier because there were a lot more details but he still turned out cute!

Now this simple technique doesn't just work for our canvas tags!  It also works on the new Linen Bags!  I used a 3"X 5" Rustic Linen Bag and I did a very similar design as my tree tag but did it on a bag.

How perfect will this be to stick a gift card or other tiny gift in?  Handmade with a personal touch always makes the gift even more special!

Watercolor Santa by Tenia

Hey Y'all!!!

Hope all is well. It's Tenia here showing y'all some awesomeness on the SRM Blog today......CHECK IT!!!!

This was a super fun card to make! I had some fun with the Jane's Doodles Tis' the Season stamp set, SRM Sticker Stitches-Christmas (LOVE me some Sticker Stitches.....it's my trademark....lol) and The Twinery Solid/Natural twine. You can get all of this wonderful goodness over at the SRM store HERE!

This card is pretty CAS with some punch. First I created this card from a burgundy cardstock. Next I added some washi tape and sticker stitches to the card. After that step I cut out patterned paper using the rectangle die and Big Shot and adhered to the card using foam adhesive. Then I stamped and heat embossed Mr. Santa onto Strathmore watercolor paper and watercolored with my Spectrum Aqua marker and paintbrush. I adhered the image panel onto the card using foam adhesive. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and cut out with a circle punch. Lastly I adhered the sentiment panel onto card and added some twine from The Twinery!!

Who doesn't love a cute Santa on a card? I adore these sweet Christmas images from Janes Doodles: Tis the Season. I love the big sentiment from Fancy Sticker Sentiments (Christmas) it was perfect for the background and well it kind of says it all, don't you think?

 This is another way to show you how you can use the new Wafer Thin Die for Decorative Calendar Stickers. 



You don't just have to use it for the calendar. It is also perfect for all those fun Christmas tags you will be making. See how perfectly the sweet raindeer from Janes Doodles: Tis the Season fits on it and you can still add some fun SRM Stickers. The background on the card and tag is a stencil.
