Back to School by Latrice

We welcome Latrice Murphy to the SRM Blog today as one of our new Design Team members.  I know that you are going to LOVE her style!

Even though school just got out, Latrice loves to plan ahead and so she created a trio of back to school projects.  She always likes to have something special for her daughter for the start of a new school year so she picked up a couple of easy pieces to alter at her local dollar store and went to work!

Latrice altered a notepad taking it from simple to sensational!  She covered it with patterned paper, decorated it with lots of SRM's school stickers and added some washi tape and twine.  Super cute!

Love how she popped up the words to give the notebook more dimension!

Latrice then altered a composition book again covering it with patterned papers and adding lots of fun school stickers from SRM.  Love how the notepad and composition book mix and match.  What a lovely pair!

I know one 2nd grader who is going to be very happy come the beginning of the new school year!  How fun to have such a crafty mom!

And as a special treat, Latrice created a mini TUBE as to include with her daughter's other goodies.  Inside she filled with colorful pencil erasers!  Too cute!  Love the "first day of school" sticker going up the side of the TUBE!  And love all the fun school stickers used to decorate it!

What a fun and fabulous trio of projects.  Latrice can't wait for the first day of school to give this set of projects to her daughter.  What a lucky little girl!  She is going to love this small, but meaningful handmade gift.

Thanks for joining us today and be sure to come back on Monday when we will have more SRM Sticker goodness with creations from our new design team members.
