Christmas Gift Box by Liz

Liz Weber got crafty with stickers and tubes! Liz says, "I saw a cute santa gift holder on Pinterest and was inspired to create this Santa Claus Gift Box to hold tubes of Christmas decorations; gold and red garland and tinsel. I used a wine gift box tutorial and just cut down the size of the box to suit the tube lengths before putting the box together."

Liz assembled cute banners to adorn the tubes;

Altered Nutcracker by Michelle

Michelle Bertuzzi created the most adorable nutcracker using patterned paper, SRM stickers, and modge podge!

Michelle started by using pieces of patterned paper for his jacket and crown;

Michelle added a 'Happy Holidays" sticker around the crown;

In this photograph, you can see how Michelle used border stickers for his belt and drum. She simply 'painted' the drumsticks using a marker;

Michelle then went to work on his legs and boots, again using border stickers;

More border stickers were used to decorate the base -- even the little snowman's hat!

What a fun and inspiring project, Michelle! Have a great weekend and join us next week for more!

Reindeer Food & Fun with Felt by Jan

How adorable is this mini tube of Reindeer Food?! Jan Tatomir provides us with the recipe and a sweet poem to accompany the tube - what a clever idea!

Magic Reindeer Food Recipe;1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup colored sugar

Magic Reindeer Food Poem;Be sure to take this magic food and sprinkle on the lawn,
On Christmas, Santa's reindeer travel miles before the dawn.
The smell of oats and glitter path will guide them on their way,
And you'll wake up to Santa's gifts next morn on Christmas Day!

Jan also assembled a holiday gift that would be perfect for a dorm room, retirement home, neighbor, teacher, etc.!

The mini Christmas Tree is accompanied by a tube filled with mini ornaments. Jan wrapped a felt square around the base of the Christmas tree and tied it with a rubber band. She layered the "tis the season" border sticker onto a piece of white felt and wrapped it around to hide the rubber band. It is held closed with a flocked brad.

Jan layered a Christmas Label onto a piece of red felt, added a felt snowflake, and a Merry Christmas sentiment.

Jan used border stickers to decorate the tube. So inspiring - thanks, Jan!
