Tracey says; The tubes are filled with wood grain patterned paper and are held together with twine that has been looped around each tube, similar to how an old fashioned raft would have been constructed.
I used skewer sticks to create the mast. To make the flags, I stuck two pennant border stickers together back to back (sticky sides together), so the flags are visible on both sides. I trimmed in between each one to make them appear more life like. The weight and flexibility of the clear stickers really makes them seem almost real to the touch.
I also made a little fishing rod with the wand as a party game idea. You could go "fishing" for treats!
