Doggie Bandana Personalized with Vinyl by Shantaie

Hi! It's Shantaie and my puppy Lilly here, and we have a fun heat transfer vinyl project for you today.

The best attribute to heat transfer vinyl is how easy it is to personalize most anything, like this fashionable doggie bandana!

Use your die cutting machine, or alphabet dies to cut out your pets name. Be sure to cut the heat transfer in reverse and simply iron onto surface for a permanent bond.  Follow all instructions, and be sure to use a fabric that can handle high heat.

For my bandana I have used pink heat transfer vinyl on a pre-made bandana in gray stripes. Lilly is always happy to see the camera, and pranced around the house as if she were a puppy super model ha ha. She loves it when she gets something new to "wear"

Keep these bandanas in mind for quick gifts for all the animal lovers in your life, or whip up a few for your adorable four legged friends for every season.

Thank you for stopping by the SRM blog today, and for letting Lilly show you her new bandana!!

Fruits of Forgiveness Bible Journaling by Shannon

Hello!  Shannon here today to share some of my Bible Journaling.  I do this activity regularly.  It combines my love of the Lord and my artistic pursuits.

Today I'm taking on forgiveness.  Forgiveness is a tough one. It's supposed to set you free, take the weight off of you so you can move on, but it's so easy to get stuck in the same place.  I am guilty of it myself. There are people in my life that I can't forgive yet, that I am still angry at or with. I still feel wronged and betrayed. I'm here to tell you the that you have to keep working on it, working through it and know that you are forgiven first. It's part of your journey to love and be loved by others, even when it's hard. Go over your own failures, because it's easier to forgive those who have wronged you. You also have to remember that not everyone is for you, and that's ok. You can't please everyone. Nor are you supposed to. Surround yourself with people who lift others up, including you.

I'm sharing this entry with you, and as you can see, it's about forgiveness. The reading is Matthew 18: 21-35, it's worth the read.  I looked up the "color of forgiveness"..and was surprised to find it was yellow...and I thought yellow?!?!? What in the heck am I going to do with yellow?!? It's not a color I use at all. I made it work though, and SRM has a great selection of watercolor pencils available for shading and blending. I also have made good use of the new white gel pen too! It packs a significant punch, without being overbearing.  Thanks for taking a look today!

We invite you to join our Bible Journaling Journey Facebook Group and post your
Bible Journaling.

June Planner Pages by Melanie

How is it June already? 2017 is going by so quickly. Good thing I have my planner to keep me on track :). Melanie here today to share some planner fun!

I gathered some SRM supplies together to work on my June pages. I appreciate how easy it is to match the stickers, stamps, and pens. Plus, because I didn't need any tools, this project was great to complete on-the-go while waiting for my son at baseball practice.

It is fun to mix and match the stamps and stickers together for an event. I also used the Le Pens to trace over the stamp lines to give more color to the page. With their fine tip, this works really well. And the fine tip is helpful for coloring in small details on stamped images.

Now that the pages are done, I am ready to head into June . . . well, maybe not quite. :)

Hugs Card by Amber

Hello everyone! It's Amber here, today I fun little card to share. Today's card features a little stamping, masking, coloring, and die cutting. This card can easily be recreated depending on how advanced you get with your stamping and coloring. I kept mine pretty simple.

I stared by stamping my little hedgehog and stump image onto some white cardstock and colored them with some Spectrum Noir markers. Once I had my images stamped and colored  I masked them off to create my background scene. I ink blended a few light blue clouds and a light green grassy hill behind my two images. Once I had my background done I die cut around my stamping with a large stitched scalloped frame die. I adhered my die cut panel to my A2 sized card base that I covered with some patterned paper.

To finish my card I added the adorable little 'HUGS' sentiment sticker from SRM's Sentiment/Love sticker sheet to the left of my stamped hedgehog. I hope you enjoyed my card today. Thanks for visiting!

Wedding Card by Melanie

Hello!  It's Melanie and I'm so happy to be here with you today and share a card that brings a smile to my face :)   One of my teacher-friends is getting married this summer and before school is out we are holding a bridal shower for her. Her colors are navy, aqua, and gold so when I saw this peacock paper I knew it was meant for her card!

I had some handmade cream paper and used it to mat the peacock paper and the "LOVE" circular sticker. To add a little dimension, I did a 1/2 twist of the ribbon before securing the edges behind the mat.

With the clear backing, SRM stickers seamlessly adhere to all kinds of papers, even the textured base of this card.

For a finishing touch, I placed the square dove sticker on the back of the envelope flap. Looking forward to celebrating with her!
