Happy Layout by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here.
Today I am here to show you a layout with watercolored, stamped and machine stitched background.  This is me and hubby on our 25th April traditional picnic with friends. To create the background I created a watercolor splatter on white cardstock and then I stamped faux stitching with BIG HAPPY clear stamp . I machine stitched over the stamps to add texture; I love to leave long thread to add extra fun to the project.

I used BIG Happy also to create part of the title.
I stamped it on a cardstock and fussy cut it.  I cut many tiny designs from different SRM Stickers (hearts, butterflies, flowers) and I used them to decorate the background.

I hope you liked my layout and wish you a good day.

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia

Journey with Jesus by Jenn

Hey Jenn here, back with a bible journaling page using some bible journaling stamps, markers, stickers and twine. I just returned a few weeks ago from a life changing bible journaling retreat in Oklahoma. The theme of the retreat was journey. One of the scriptures used during our devotional time was
Judges 18:6 "Go in peace. The journey on which you go is under the eye of the Lord."

I  started this page by using the patterned arrows and colored in a single row with the green marker, creating a faux washi border strip. Then I used a large set of alpha stickers for the word 'go'. I used the Pray Journal Repeat set for the banner, which I once again used a yellow marker to stamp. Once dry I added the word 'journey' with the tiny alpha in that stamp set. I created a tip in using a few die cut pieces and ephemera to hide and create more space to journal my thoughts and prayers. I love using the distressed clear 2018 sticker to notate the year I journaled this page, it totally fit the feel I was going for. Finally I added a fun cluster of tabs and tags using some bakers twine and washi around the page.

Sometimes I need the reminder to step out. Going to this retreat was a little scary. It was my very first, I knew no one and had no idea of what to expect and to top it all off I am kinda introverted. However I knew my Father wanted me to attend so I stepped out in faith believing that he would use this as a part of my journey. I was blessed with new friends, encouraging words and some serious 'God moments'.

Father, I have heard you loud and clear.... I need to go! Give me peace as i continue to search you out as i journey on the path you set out for me. Let me rest in the peace that my journey is not a mystery to you. May my faith grow and strengthen my relationship with you. Amen!!

Hugs and prayers,
Jenn (@creativegurl85)

Bridal Shower Card by Melanie

Hello! Melanie here today to share a card for a Bridal Shower. One of my co-workers is getting married in July and her shower is in a few weeks.

I found out the colors for her wedding and used them to put the card together. The Mini-Calendar stickers are a fun way to mark the date of a special event. I placed a heart sticker from the We've Got Your Sticker/Forever sheet over the date of her wedding. Then I added a couple of the sentiments along the edge.

To add some extra detail to the card, I placed a variety of black sticker stitches along edges of the paper layers. Sticker Stitches are my most used SRM stickers! Love them!

The "2018"from Year of Memories Sticker/2018 helps define the year of the event. I can’t wait to tuck this card into my friend’s gift basket at her shower. I know it will bring a smile to her face :)

Mini Calendar Layout by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here and today I am sharing a layout with you.
I love making layouts, it is my favorite way to preserve memories.
For this layout I had an idea as soon as I saw the fabulous mini calendar 2018 stickers:
I wanted to give the idea of being loved each and every day, so I created the background using all of them!

The background paper, that seems like a galaxy, matches the funny photo; the photo was taken on Valentine's Day 2018, so I marked the date on the calendar using an enamel heart and I add the 2018 taken from Year of Memories Sticker/2018 sticker sheet.

I added die- cuts and I machine stitched every mini calendar (I love to add texture this way!). Put glue only in the centre of the die-cut, so you can lift up the borders and add dimension.  I used foam tape to adhere some of the die-cut, to add depth, and on some of them I added an enamel shape.

I hope to have given you an alternative idea to use mini calendar stickers (in the shop you can find also past years to scrap old pictures!)

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia

Happy Easter Hybrid Project Life Layout by Shanna

Hello SRM friends, Shanna here today with a springtime Easter layout in anticipation of Easter 2018!   I am a Project Life/pocket page scrapbooker mainly, but here lately have been enjoying making hybrid layouts that combine a PL layout with a traditional 12x12 layout.  I am in love with the marriage of these two!  For me it's the best of both worlds, because sometimes there is a single picture or two that I really want to highlight, ESPECIALLY with holidays.

I decided to "scrap ahead" and create a layout that will highlight this coming Easter's festivities.  I loved pulling all of the different elements together for these pages!

Here is a look at the traditional 12x12 scrapbook layout...I am really enjoying all of the layers! The doily added some visual contrast with all the squared edges going on in this layout as well.  Easy-peasy :)

For the traditional 12x12 layout I pulled stickers from the Year of Memories/2018 and Express Yourself/Easter stickers sets.

I also used a mini calendar sticker and circled the date!  Such a fun way to journal the date!  I had fun creating bunny ears above my sticker sentiment with some pink jute twine that I unbraided for a single piece.  Hippity-Hop!

Next up, here is a closer look at the pocket page layout (Project Life format). I am a big matchy-matchy person....so the 2 layouts make my crafty heart happy! This layout pulls together the same sticker sets used in the traditional layout, so the coordinate perfectly!

I had a lot of fun embellishing the different cards..I discovered a new (at least to me!) technique to use my fabulous jute twine for....Rosettes!!!  All I did was spiral and twist a single strand of the jute around in a circle to make these whimsical little flowers!

Here is a larger version of the jute rosette with a dainty yellow button for the center :) The Easter eggs sentiment comes from the Express Yourself/Easter stickers set as well! I also took a close up of the smaller one...I did a tighter spiral for the smaller ones, but the larger one lets the "ruffles" from unbraiding the jute totally shine!

Another fun combo of  Express Yourself/Easter  and Year of Memories/2018 made for a quick and cute journaling card. A small piece of jute finished off this card nicely!

Monochromatic Winter Layout by Giorgia

Hello SRM friends, Giorgia here.
This year I spent New Year's Eve and some other days on holidays in Budapest and I
couldn't wait to scrap those pictures!

So I grabbed my SRM stickers winter themed products and created a monochromatic layout (please take a look to this other monochromatic layout too that I shared on my last post, if you missed it!).
Also this one is made in blue tones, because they remind me of winter!

I went with a vertical design: I added two strips of paper to a light blue cardstock and I simulated stitches with the awesome SRM Sticker Stitches.

I adhered some stickers to white cardstock and used them as embellishments. I used two paper clips to add them to the pictures.

I created a sort of journal under the chipboard title with some sticker. For the layout I used also SRM calendar stickers. I find them really useful to add dates to my LOs!

I hope you liked my layout and wish you a good day.

Until next time,
ciao, Giorgia

Mini Desktop Calendar by Emma

Hello sticker fans!  Emma here today to share this cute and simple to make mini desktop calendar.  This would make a lovely gift for anyone who has to sit at a desk all day - why not give them something nice to look at?  (Bonus!  It's also useful!)

To make this item, I have used the #1 top seller on the SRM Store, the 2018 Mini Decorative Calendasticker set.  This set is so versatile, it can be used in so many ways.  The stickers are clear, so you can add them to any colour paper you like.

I have also used the 2018 Year of Memories sticker sheet to add the year onto my calendar:

So to start, I took a piece of cardboard box and folded into an 'A' shape, and covered with cream cardstock.  I then made a small pocket from the same cream cardstock, big enough to hold a small post-it note pad.  I covered the pocket and the upper part of the calendar with a Turquoise Striped Patterned Bag.

I cut the individual months from the calendar sticker sheets, and adhered them to white paper.  (Tip: you can also get a cutting die which matches the shape of the calendar stickers perfectly!). Using some strong double-sided tape, I adhered the months together at the top, to create a 'tear-off' effect.  To finish off the calendar, I used the beautiful 'Just Believe' stamp set, and coloured the images with the Marvy Color-In Watercolor Twist pencils.

And there you have it, a sweet and easy gift for the desk-bound loved one in your life.
Happy crafting!
Emma

Mini Rainbow Calendar by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today I'm sharing a happy little calendar with you!

I kept things very clean and simple. I started with my white card base, which I chose to crimp. After, I put aside all my crimped card bases and then worked on my white squares. Adding a touch of rainbow patterned paper to each one. Once done, I added my sticker calendar to each square. Then added some foam squares on the back and then added it to my card bases.

After I was done making my calendar cards, I needed to come up with something to hold them. So I used a clear box and cut it to where my cards could sit nicely inside and not cover up my calendar month.

To top things off, I slipped everything (cards and card holder) into a clear box and then inside of a patterned bag, which I closed with a 2018 sticker. Simple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Mini Calendar Teacher Gift by Karen

Hello!  Karen here today.  I love doing Back to School projects!

It's almost time! The summer is winding down and school supplies are stacking up. Today, I'm sharing a cute back to school calendar project for your favorite teachers. I started with a mini clipboard that I covered with school themed washi tape.

Then I grabbed all my school themed SRM stickers and the 2017 and 2018 calendar stickers. Using precut 3x4 journaling cards sped up the project and provided additional background color. I used the mini calendar stickers and lots of SRM stickers to create a card for each month. Each month's card is fun and unique.

Happy back to school time!

For this project, I used lots of stickers from these SRM collections:
