Merry & Bright Stocking Stuffer by Lorena

Hello, SRM friends! With Christmas quickly approaching, we'd better get started on holiday crafting, right? What about a cute and oh, so merry stocking stuffer? I made a notepad cover that goes perfectly with the Pencil Sentiments/ Christmas. You just have to adhere a blank mini notepad inside it, or even a sticky notes pad, and there you have it, a very useful little gift!

I started by double scoring a long piece of cardstock to form the cover and make space for the notepad inside. Second, I die cut the bottom flap with a cute border, and lined the inside of the cover with patterned paper. And now comes the fun part: decorating! I used lots of SRM stickers for this!

For the base of the focal point I adhered a label sticker from FreeStyle Christmas to white cardstock and trimmed it. The "merry and bright" sentiment comes from Quick Cards/Merry. I chose this particular one because the font coordinates with the one in the pencil. On the top of the cover, I adhered a border sticker from Sticker Stitches/Christmas and tied a bit of baker's twine. Love the playful look that bow adds! I finished the notepad with a die cut ampersand, some enamel dots and tiny stars die cut from sparkly craft foam.

Oh, and the pencil got a little Christmas treatment too! I had a couple spare die cut stars on my desk, so I adhered them to the pencil. I adore those festive pencils!

Shabby Chic Mini Calendar by Michelle

Need a great idea for using SRM's Mini Calendars to make a gift?  Sit back, relax and enjoy this idea from Michelle Giraurd.  When Michelle was making this project and she was stumped on what to do for the next step ...each time an SRM product was the perfect fit for what she needed. 

Michelle began by gluing the 4" round doilies together on each side of a clear rectangular box to form a square.   She trimmed off the top flaps of the clear box so it was open at the top, which made it the perfect pen & pencil holder.  

Michelle decided to go with girly colors because of the lace doilies so she added pink pencils from "XOXO".  The front of box was a perfect place for the Mini Decorative Calendar, which was adhered to white cardstock squares.  

 

Michelle adhered all the months to white cardstock squares.  The extra calendar months are hidden inside the pen holder tied with twine, while the current month is clipped to the front with a tiny clothespin decorated with solid pink twine.

What a darling idea!  Here are the products that Michelle used to create it:

Graduation Party by Roberta

Roberta Rosi shares with us today party favors for graduation.  To match the color of your school, simply change the color of the candy and the twine! 

Here are the supplies that Roberta used to create her favors:

Roberta filled the pillow box with some red candies which is the color used in Italy for graduation.  I never knew that!  She decorated the pillow box with stickers and twine. 

Again, using stickers and twine, Roberta decorated the Muslin Bags.

Roberta made 2 versions.  One more feminine (with scallops) and one more masculine with the plain edge.  

Once finished decorating the Pillow Box and Muslin Bag she put the little box and pencil inside the bag.  

What a fabulous treat bag!  Do you have a grad in your family?  Time to get started on your party planning.

Graduation Treats by Lesley

Lesley Croghan had fun using some of SRM's new grad items and she LOVES the embossed kraft bags! In Lesley's own words describing these beautiful SRM kraft bags that come embossed with a flourish pattern, "Swoon!".

Using SRM's Take 2 Stickers Graduation, Lesley decorated her kraft bag and some Happy Graduation pencils too! And don't forget the black solid twine!

Then she created a card, again using the Take 2 Graduation stickers including some of the borders that are included on this sticker.

What a fun and fabulous ensemble for a graduation party.  You can always add your school colors to this project by using colored cardstock or twine.

Happy Birthday Combo by Lesley

Lesley Croghan had lots of fun playing with her new SRM birthday goodies and mini clear boxes.   Lesley made a mini-birthday card set and a matching card.  She loved the idea of making a nice gift for a friend who is always needing birthday cards.   

SRM's new Take 2 - Birthday stickers are such fun to play with.  With the colorful Happy Birthday circle stickers and matching borders, there are so many things you can do with them.  Lesley created 3 mini cards and a matching clear box and still has enough stickers to make 2 more set of these little beauties!

Love the simple matching birthday card that Lesley made to go with this set.  Easy peasy and oh such fun!  The solid Caribbean twine is perfect for this card.  And as a little added bonus, Lesley included a Happy Birthday pencil that she can tie on the outside of the gift box. 

Keeping it simple, clean and fresh is always a winning combination!

Graduation Party by Angi Barrs

Angi Barrs' youngest daughter is graduating in June and Angi could not wait to use SRM's newest graduation products, Take 2 Stickers by the Dozen, to make some fun party favors.  She also used SRM's doilies, A-2 clear box, glassine bags embossed with a chevron design and Happy Graduation Pencils! 

Angi placed an SRM glassine bag into an A2 clear box and then decorated the outside of the box with a doily and graduation stickers.  Super cute!

Angi found some chalkboard picks at her local craft store and added more SRM Graduation sticker borders to decorate the wooden sticks.  She loves the graduation pencils as a fun item to add to the gift box.  

You can easily place gift cards, money or any other type of gift into your bag in a box.  Love this idea!

Valentine Pencil Cards by Latrice

Need something spectacular for a Valentine's card?  Here's an idea that's sure to impress!

Latrice Murphy had Cupid's arrow in mind and she made it come to life by using SRM's XOXO Pencil sentiments, die cut hearts, various SRM Stickers and and few other embellishments. 

Latrice's cards are simple to create using patterned paper on the the left side which she bordered with some stickers sayings. She used 3D squares to raise her heart die cuts up and weaved the pencil through. Latrice is very excited for her daughter to give these to her BFF's. 

Latrice alternated pink and red die cut hearts.  

She created a decorative end to the pencil "arrow" using card stock.

And decorated the tip of the arrow using Valentine Sticker Stitches!

 Latrice then wove the pencil through the heart, added some red and pink embellishments.

New Product Review

SRM has been introducing our new products this week. Today we give you a review of all new products.  Sit back, relax and enjoy!  

Our design is simply LOVING these new stickers that offer a combination of round stickers and matching borders.  The Take 2 stickers come in 4 designs:  Birthday, Baby, Graduation and Wedding.  These are all events that need multiples.  The stickers measure 12" x 6".  You'll love the longer borders!

SRM has a large selection of containers and now we add more.  This time the containers are in fabric! That's right!  Fabric bags!  How fun is that?  

We are doing Muslin bags in 3 sizes (3" x 5", 4" x 6 and 5" x 7").  You can stamp on them, stencil on them or decorate them with lace, ribbon, flowers, twine and even stickers!

See what Angi Barrs did using a muslin bag and some SRM Stickers!  So much fun!  Angi's such a sucker for muslin bags, I asked her to whip something up special!  Who knew that SRM's clear stickers would work so well on fabric?  Angi loved using this one decorated with stamps, stickers and twine at her Christmas celebration.

And SRM is offering Burlap bags in 2 sizes (3" x 5" and 5" x 7").  I love burlap and made a wedding favor using the 5 x 7 bag, some of SRM's new Take 2 Wedding stickers and a doily.  Easy peasy yet oh so pretty!  

I think we are going to have ourselves some FUN with these new fabric bags!
