Essential Oil Labels with Vinyl by Tobi

Hi there! It's Tobi Crawford here and I'm sharing how I label my essential oil custom blends!

I have been using essential oils for over 20 years and one of my favourite things to do is create custom blends for me and my family. I was trying to think of a quick yet easy way to label my amber bottles and was like, DUH! Vinyl!

I used some SRM Vinyl and my electronic cutter to cut out some blend names and small icons.

Graduation - Throwback Thursday

Need some ideas for graduation?  Here's a feature for Throwback Thursday with lots of great ideas from SRM Design Team members past and present.  Enjoy!

First up, Tessa Wise with a playful graduation card!  Clear stickers and twine dress up this fun card.  Love the twine tassel on the Micky hat!

Love this card from Deana Boston that uses stickers for decoration and a glassine bag to hold a $20.00 bill!

Shelly Kurth creates a clean and simple card using stickers twine and a splash of color using watercolors.  And don't forget the sequins!

Cupcakes anyone?  Shantaie Fowler really knows how to fancy up a cupcake!  Using a graduation sticker she created toppers with a gold banner.  So fun and festive!

And the final project is also from Shantaie.  This time she used Stickers by the dozen, a clear treat bog and a bit of twine and created a tag for her "smarty" favors.  How totally fun!

Hope that this Throwback Thursday has given you some good ideas for your Graduation cards, gifts and favors!

Graduation Cards by Melanie

Hello! Melanie here today to share a couple of graduation cards with you. My oldest child is graduating from high school this year (*sigh*). I went with her school colors of dark red and black for the cards.

SRM has several great graduation sticker options. I used the following:
Black Lace
The bottom layer of the card is actually some polka dot tissue paper. I love how it has a playful look and adds a little texture to the card. Then I layered some Black Lace for more texture and a border sticker on the tissue paper.

Next I used a dark red cardstock to mat graduation sentiments to layer on the lace. I finished off the cards with one more border sentiment.

By using the same basic structure for both cards, they came together quickly. SRM stickers made it easy to vary the look of the cards, yet keep the process simple.

Happily Ever After Wedding Card

Hello. Samantha here today! Wedding season is upon us, so today I wanted to share a happily ever after wedding card. It's a mix of stamps and stickers, and is a lot of fun to make.

Here's what you'll need for this card:

Heaven and Earth Stamp Set
Love Sentiment Stickers
Color In Watercolor Pencils
Light Blue Jute Twine
Gold Calligraphy Paint Pen
Card Stock
Feather Embellishment
White Ink

I created the background of the card by stamping the arrow from Heaven & Earth multiple times on grey card stock in white ink. I used watercolor pencils and the gold calligraphy pen to color in the arrows. If you haven't tried using your watercolor pencils on dark card stock, I encourage you to give it try. You'll love the results you get and it will have you looking at your stamps in all new ways.

I finished up my card with a little cluster of embellishments. I uses some die cut feathers, the "happily ever after!" sticker from Love Sentiments, and a bit of jute twine.

This happily ever after wedding card can be easily altered to fit the colors of any wedding you're attending to add that extra personal touch. How many weddings will you be attending this summer?

Game Day Box by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Today I'm sharing a fun 'game day' box with you!

Seeing many friends being all about baseball right now, I decided to make my box with a baseball theme. Though, you could do this with any sport you like. ;)

It may just look like an ordinary box with some jute twine and sticker tag, but when you open it...

Surprise!!...or should I say, Yum?!!...
I filled my box with some salty and sweet goodies. A little bit of popcorn and some chocolate caramel squares.

I used one of SRM Stickers patterned bag to hold my popcorn in, which I also added a fun sticker to one of the stripes on the bag. Then I added some cardstock around my chocolates and added some fun stickers on top. Easy peasy, right?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Birthday and Thank You Cards by Amber

Hello everyone! It's Amber here, I have two cards today to share using two different styles of clear sentiment stickers and a mini stamp from SRM's Just Believe clear stamp set.

For my first card I used one of the extra large round Birthday sentiment from the Fancy Sentiment/Birthday sticker sheet, a little butterfly stamp from the Just Believe stamp set, and paired them with some patterned paper from Pink Paislee.

I created a cute little border around my sentiment with the little butterfly stamp. I stamped little butterfly image multiple times, along the two edges of my patterned paper and then onto some white cardstock. I fussy cut the butterflies out of the white cardstock, colored them, added some mini clear sequins to their wings, and adhered them right over the first set I stamped along the two edges of my patterned paper.

For my second card I used one of the "Thank You" stickers from the Stickers By The Dozen/Thank You sticker sheet and paired it with some gray and yellow patterned paper from Close To My Heart.

I created this fun over sized flower with some yellow cardstock and a gray brad. I die cut seven circles out of a piece of yellow cardstock, three large ones, two medium ones, and two little ones. Once I had all my circles die cut I wrinkled them up in my hands, unwrinkled them, stacked them from large to small, and added a little gray brad to the center of them to hold them in place. Once I had m brad in place you can wrinkle them a little more and form the flower they way you want. I added my finished flower to my yellow card base right next to my sentiment.

Wedding Box by Melanie

Spring is in the air . . . and so are weddings! In fact, I have one coming up later this month. My nephew is getting married and we are so excited for him and bride-to-be!  Melanie here to share something special I made.

With this in mind, I decorated one of SRM's adorable kraft boxes. The lace fits the width of the box perfectly and is a great way to dress it up. In addition to the lace, I added some specialty papers. Then I finished it off with amazing SRM stickers and stamps!

I love how the clear backing on SRM stickers allows them to look seamless on whatever background they are placed. It doesn't matter if it is a sentiment or border, they blend in perfectly. Also, using the border stickers from the Stickers by the Dozen Wedding set, the stickers were the perfect length to wrap two around the box.

The stamp "do everything in love" is from the Love One Another stamp set. I used a champagne colored ink to stamp it on the box for a barely-there but sparkly look. The box is topped off with a burlap tag and flower.

This would be easy to replicate and make several for wedding favors, a small gift, or as part of table centerpieces at the festivities.
