Happily Ever After Wedding Card

Hello. Samantha here today! Wedding season is upon us, so today I wanted to share a happily ever after wedding card. It's a mix of stamps and stickers, and is a lot of fun to make.

Here's what you'll need for this card:

Heaven and Earth Stamp Set
Love Sentiment Stickers
Color In Watercolor Pencils
Light Blue Jute Twine
Gold Calligraphy Paint Pen
Card Stock
Feather Embellishment
White Ink

I created the background of the card by stamping the arrow from Heaven & Earth multiple times on grey card stock in white ink. I used watercolor pencils and the gold calligraphy pen to color in the arrows. If you haven't tried using your watercolor pencils on dark card stock, I encourage you to give it try. You'll love the results you get and it will have you looking at your stamps in all new ways.

I finished up my card with a little cluster of embellishments. I uses some die cut feathers, the "happily ever after!" sticker from Love Sentiments, and a bit of jute twine.

This happily ever after wedding card can be easily altered to fit the colors of any wedding you're attending to add that extra personal touch. How many weddings will you be attending this summer?

Walk with Jesus Card Set by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Today, I'm sharing a simple and fun card set with you!

This card set came to me when I was looking through my SRM Stickers clear stamps. Lately, I've been doing a lot of 'make your own background' on my cards, so I thought I'd do the same with these.

I used the arrow from SRM Stickers Walk By Faith stamp set and randomly stamped them on my card base. After, I added my sentiment pieces from the same set, in the center of my card. I did this for all my cards, using different colors.

One of things I love is the fancy/script writing, though as for me actually writing like that...not happening. lol But with these clear stamps that offer fancier or even bold words, I simply traced over the word with a gold pen and ta-da...done. :)

To finish my card set off, I bundled them all together using a piece of white lace. After I placed the set in a clear container. Simple, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Faith Cards & Process Video by Christine

Hi there crafty friends!  It's a busy time of year for my family so I wanted to create some cards that I could grab and send for encouragement.  Christine joining you today and I'm using some Bible Journaling stamps and the Gold Calligraphy Paint Pen, I came up with some quick and easy ones.  I also created a video for you to show you how I made them!  Here's the cards!

Here's a quick walk thru how I made these cards:

As you can see each card has the same basic design but I changed up the words and borders.

All three cards use the Big Faith Stamp Set and the hearts are from Child of God clear stamp.  The border on this one comes from The Lord is Kind Stamp Set.

The border on this one also comes from The Lord is Kind Stamp Set.

The border for this one comes from the New Testament Clear Stamp.

Hello Calligraphy Pen! by Karen

Hello!  Karen here today to share a new fun crafty product!

I was excited to receive a new calligraphy paint pen in my SRM Design Team box last week. The Calligraphy paint marker has a traditional flat head, or chisel point, nib (not like a brush marker). It's great for projects on thick paper, glass, wood, or porcelain.

Since I've been doing more brush lettering lately, it took a little bit of practice to remember how to appropriately hold and write with this type of pen, but the practicing was fun.

For this project, I created several watercolor backgrounds and then lettered on top of the pages once they were completely dry.
Here are more of my thoughts in this process video.

A little bit of highlighting with a white gel pen adds a little pop against the black lettering and colorful backgrounds.

I think that I'll be making some cards with these but I could also frame them!
What will you create with these markers?

For this project I used:
