New Product Reveal - Day #2 - Doilies

Don't know about you, but I love doilies.  We are adding more doilies to the SRM line and I think you are going to have some fun with these!  Add them to any container, card, layout or mixed media project and watch the magic begin!

We've added a 6" white lace paper doily.  So pretty!

And 3 heart shaped doilies!  They are 6" and come in white, red and pink!  I love the little embossing in the middle of the hearts.  Which one is your favorite?  I love them all!

And how about a little glitz and glamour with your doilies?  We've added a 4" gold and 4" silver.  Simply divine!

Here's a lovely card using the silver doily from Lesley Croghan.  YUM!

New Product Reveal - Day #1 - Stickers

This week we feature new products from SRM. Today we begin to share with you our new releases including our 2015 Year of Memories, 2015 Mini Calendars in the Standard and Decorative styles and more Take 2 stickers in Halloween, Christmas and Thank You designs! 

The 2015 Year of Memories sticker is perfect for making calendars, mini calendars, Project Life, Graduation, layouts and even cards.  There are so many different choices of the year, days of the week and months from which to choose.

Yummy Layout by Yvonne

Yvonne Yam loves to make "yummy" layouts featuring food.   Using patterned papers, paper leaves, lace and Thicker stickers, Yvonne had fun creating this layout featuring a combination of food and flowers.

This "delicious" layout features SRM Sticker Stitches in red and SRM Borders in dots and scallops.  Can you spot them?

Yvonne also used the "Tea Party" clear sticker from SRM's Everyday Girl sticker.  That's one of her all time favorite stickers!

Garden Layout by Laurel

Lovely layered layouts are a specialty of Laurel Seabrook and I love the theme of this layout.  Spring is her favorite season and she is always game to get nature pictures!

Laurel was very happy when she saw this little guy.  She loves snails!  The clear SRM Nature themed stickers over the photos are super subtle and perfect.

I love looking at all the details of Laurel's work.  The big die cut "garden" is lovely and the touch of black and white twine on the tag is a nice finishing touch.  

Here are the two SRM Stickers that Laurel used on her layout.  And she has plenty of stickers left over for more nature layouts.

Gelato Card Tutorial by Shelly

Shelly Kurth just can't get enough of Gelatos and Sequins.  And today she has created a clean and simple card with some technique thrown in! 

Here's how she did it.  

Shelly starts with a pink cardstock base.  She creates a black cardstock cut slightly smaller in length than the base card and does the same with white cardstock over the black.  On the white cardstock, Shelly uses gelatos with paintbrush and water smearing the gelatos on the card, then using the paintbrush to spread it around.  Let it dry. 

Once dry add on a stamp using black ink.  Then add the SRM Fancy Sentiment Baby clear sticker.  Once done, adhere the black cardstock to base card.  Then adhere white cardstock on top of black.  Finish off by adhering sequins to card.  

And here's the clear SRM Fancy Sticker that Shelly used.  SRM clear Sticker Sentiments are perfect to use with stamps.  No fuss, no muss.  Perfect every time!

Birdie Card Set by Michelle

Michelle Giraud took 1 sheet of stickers and created 4 different cards!  

She choose the cute We've Got Your Stickers PLUS/Birdie sheet to work with.  

She also used two 4" round white SRM Doilies as a pretty little accent on 2 of her cards.  

All of the birdie stickers were adhered to a medium sized pinking edge circle from Spellbinders.  

The fun thing about this project is that Michelle used every single sticker on the sheet!

The SRM Doilies add a lovely touch to Michelle's little card set. 

What a great idea to create a stash of cards that are perfect for everyday use all year long.

Graduation Party by Roberta

Roberta Rosi shares with us today party favors for graduation.  To match the color of your school, simply change the color of the candy and the twine! 

Here are the supplies that Roberta used to create her favors: 
Medium Pillow Boxes

Maraschino Twine

Roberta filled the pillow box with some red candies which is the color used in Italy for graduation.  I never knew that!  She decorated the pillow box with stickers and twine. 

Again, using stickers and twine, Roberta decorated the Muslin Bags.

Roberta made 2 versions.  One more feminine (with scallops) and one more masculine with the plain edge.  

Once finished decorating the Pillow Box and Muslin Bag she put the little box and pencil inside the bag.  

What a fabulous treat bag!  Do you have a grad in your family?  Time to get started on your party planning.

Baby Shower Favors by Yvonne

Do you love DIY?  Yvonne Yam does!  She took the SRM Baby Shower DIY Kit and changed it up a bit.  Everything you need is in the kit!

The kit comes with 12 embossed glassine bags.  Love the flourish pattern.  Yvonne did 2 different designs for her favors using SRM's Baby Take 2 Stickers, SRM Doilies and Twine. 

Yvonne had some fun with the Marigold Yellow twine by looping it through the holes in the doily.

And she also just tied a twine bow on the other.  Super quick, easy peasy!

Mother's Day Gift Set by Lesley

Welcome to our second post of today with inspiration for a quick and easy gift for Mother's Day.  Lesley Croghan first crested a lovely card for Mom using SRM's Say it With Stickers Mother's Day design.  She also added a little sticker from SRM's Mother Quick Card.  

As a gift, Lesley tucked some hand cream inside one of SRM's Muslin Bags.  She created a gift tag and tied it with some solid Pink Sorbet twine.  Lovely!

Put them together and you have a lovely little gift,  Easy peasy and oh so pretty!

Mother's Day Gift & Card by Angi

Angi Barrs loves creating gift sets.  They are so much fun!   Today she gives us some inspiration for a last minute Mother's Day gift and card that are quick and easy to make.  

Angi fist made a Mommy Perfume Bucket.  Small biodegradable planters are a fun way to hold perfumes and lotions.  Angi added a Mother sticker to the front of the planter.  It's from SRM's Mother Quick Card.   

And then she added toothpick embellishments that are dress up in more SRM Stickers.  They look like little flowers popping up out of a perfume garden.  Super fun! 

But what's a gift without a card?  Angi whipped up this fun and fabulous card for Mom using a die cut butterfly, an arrow clip and more Mother SRM Stickers!  

Mother's Day is this coming Sunday.  If you needed something quick and easy and fabulous to make, you've come to the right place.  Thanks Angi for this darling gift idea.  Moms will surely love this homemade gift.
