Rejoice Together by Michele

Good morning! Michele here with a card that uses SRM's Heaven & Earth stamp set.  I stamped the clouds, mountains, and sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed it in white.  I filled in the mountain tops using a Reminisce white gel pen.  With colored pencils I gave the clouds and mountains color.

I wanted the sun to peek out from under the clouds, so I drew my own in.  I adhered a gold together sticker. under the word rejoice.  I tied twine to the top and glued a small gold heart to its center.

Thank you so much for popping by today!!
Have a wonderful day!

Watercolor Planner Page by Christine

Hi there SRM Fans!  Christine joining you today with an agenda page from my July Planner!  I love to use my planner to play with techniques before I dive into them on other paper crafts and this page is the perfect example of that!

I wanted to play with a marbled watercolored look and so I did just that!  But I also did some filling in with watercolors and drawing.  I combined a traditional watercolor set, Watercolor Twist Pencils and a blending marker to achieve the look I wanted.
Here's a video to show you my process:

I always like to have something with the whole month in my spreads so it that it's easy to look at dates without having to flip thru. The Mini Decorative Calendar sticker was perfect for that.  Doesn't it look pretty up against that marbled background too???

Being on a weight loss and fitness journey, the Clear Planner Stamp/Healthy Plans has a whole new level of usefulness for my planner. I love these fun little words to add inspiration to my page! I also used the Clear Stamp/Planner Banner set to add to my To Do List.

Be sure to check out the newest release in the planner stamp section of the store....there's so many great new options!

Memory Verse Card Holder and Video by Karen

Hello!  Karen here today to share a project I made for my daughter.

Memorizing scripture is important in our home. To keep track of the verses we've memorized this summer, I created a magnetic holder using a small clear box from SRM. It's a perfect size for holding 3x4 cards. It was super easy to create with some scrap paper and SRM's faith stamps and stickers.

For the step-by-step process, check out the video below.

God is Good by Shannon

Good morning dear readers, Shannon here sharing some bible journaling with you!  The focus of this entry with the reflections I was working on was centered on Joseph, it was his Feast Day. I don't think Joseph gets enough credit..he kind of had a ton of stuff thrown at him abruptly; he chose to take this stuff and run with it even though he had questions and doubts. I am sure he felt pressure to care for Mary and Jesus to the best of his ability, much like a modern husband and father does today.

I documented a simple prayer, and used SRM stickers to help me with this. I used a sticker with vellum to create a tab, I need to make more tabs! You will also find sticker stitches on this page...I think you could look at 95% of my projects and find sticker stitches on them. There's also water color pencils and some awesome pens on this entry.

Thank you for letting me share! Have a great day!

Bible Journaling The Lord's Prayer by Karen

It's often difficult to know the exact words to pray. In Matthew 6, Jesus gives us some advice.

"And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Pray then like this..." Here then Jesus introduces the Lord's Prayer. (Matthew 6:7-15)

This summer, my daughter and I will be spending some time learning more about the Lord's Prayer and the meanings of the words. The Big Trinity stamp set from SRM is perfect for our summer devotions. We've started with the introduction. "Our Father in Heaven..." With these words God tenderly invites us to believe that He is our true Father and that we are His true children, so that will all boldness and confidence we may ask Him as dear children ask their dear father. (explanation from Luther's Small Catechism)

For the background of this page, I used acylic paints and applied them lightly with a sponge. After drying I stamped the words, crosses, border dots, and heart. I used a white pen to highlight the stamps and help them stand out more on my page.

Open My Eyes, Bible Journaling by Shannon

Good morning, Shannon here sharing some bible journaling with you.

The message is actually from one of the songs we hear sometimes at mass. It tied in perfectly with the reflections I'm working through. Yes, that says March. I'm not good at the whole timely thing.

My go to in my bible journaling journey is SRM, I find myself reaching for all of the great stuff available time and time again.

Take a look at the entry and you'll see: Watercolor Twist Pencils,  Watercolor Pencils 12 Piece Set, Gel Reminisce Pens/White and a black Le Pen

Here's a close up on that owl, you can see the cool layers the watercolors create with their different mediums:

Love One Another by Michele

Hey there crafty friends!  Michele here with a card today that uses a sentiment that truly speaks to me.  With all of the craziness in the world, I think loving one another seems a simple solution. ( I wish it were that easy!)
So here I am spreading the love to you my crafty friends!
I used SRM's Appropriately named, Love One Another set over a Smooshed water colored background.

I stamped the little heart, colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it.  I gave it a layer of glossy accents. Once it was dry, I added a few details using the Reminisce Gel Pen. I popped up the heart with crafty foam tape and adhered a few enamel dots and pink twine to finish off the card.

Now go spread joy and kindness.... and love one another!! :)

Baby Calendar by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Today, I'm sharing a sweet baby calendar with you.

I thought this would be fun gift to give to someone who is expecting...they can completely customize it to their liking. :)

I simply only added a 'cover' to the front of the calendar, which I used some patterned paper and kraft cardstock for a mat. For the back of the calendar I just added kraft cardstock only.

To tie things together for a gift, I added a little strip of kraft cardstock around my calendar and then added a couple doilies with a baby sticker in the middle. I also I added all the cardstock stickers pieces/etc. into a larger glassine bag and slipped it underneath the doilies and kraft strip. Simple and sweet, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!

Mint, Black & Gold Favor Bags by Shantaie

Greeting from Shantaie!  I know it's not red, white and blue but I've got something fun to share with you today.

Hi party people! I love these patterned bags for favors, especially when you can add another dimension to the overall theme. In this case I have a black, mint and gold event. I love the contrast between gold shimmer and the natural feel of jute twine, it's a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll ;)

To make this favor bag, I added a banner of floral print, and gold foil layered under a trio of stars. To the largest star I added a thinking of you sticker, and wrapped the top with jute twine in mint. A sprinkling of gold sequins finish the bag.

Water Balloon Kit by Samantha

Hello! Samantha here with you today to share a fun summer gift. Today I'm using some SRM stickers and a pillow box to create a water balloon kit.

For the container I used a Large Clear Pillow Box. This size will hold a full package of water balloons and one of the nozzles that you can use to fill water balloons.

I used a combination of the Live Life Calendar Year and We've Got Your Border Bright stickers to decorate the container and make it bright and summery.

In our house summer means water balloon games so these kits will make a fun surprise for my kids...but I also think they'd make a great little gift for the kid at heart.

Thanks for joining me today!
