I Woof You by Shannon

Hello!  Shannon here today sharing this card with you featuring some awesome SRM stamps and Sticker Stitches.

One thing you need to know about the new SRM Stamps is that they are fabulous for creating a background! I stamped the XO from the BIG Thank You design randomly with white ink on chalkboard card stock to create a subtle, yet awesome background.

I know...the dogs, get to the dogs! They are available...A Dog's Life...they're in the store!  And they are simply adorable!  Paw-sitively perfect!

I used ombre ink for the hearts and colored the sweet pups in with watercolor pencils, before gently blending them. 

Sticker Stitches anchor in the magenta polka dots and the border along the bottom of the card. (Plus you will have lots of these fabulous stickers left over for other projects!)

 This card is perfect for a friend, a sweet niece or daughter...just a sweet way to let someone know you're thinking of them and to make them smile!

Crafty Christmas Box by Angi

Hello SRM Fans! Angi here with a crafty idea to get you started early on your Christmas gifting!

SRM is more than just stickers! Did you know that they have the BEST containers that are the perfect size for holiday gifts? I really love the 3" square kraft boxes! They are great for jewelry, chocolates, stocking stuffers, and any small gift item.

I dressed up my box with patterned paper, die cuts, twine, and other small embellishments. I also added a Christmas sentiment using the Stickers by the Dozen Christmas set.

I plan on dressing up loads of these cute little boxes for the holidays! My motto is ... "Why buy when you can just make it yourself?"  Plus, the kiddos would love making these for their favorite teacher or classmate too!

Good morning! Michele joining you today!I am loving all of the new stamps that SRM is now carrying!  This new set by Jane's Doodles called, Tea Time is so fun!

There are so many little stamps to dress up the cups and such. I used alcohol markers to add color.  I decided my middle tea cup needed polka dots. ;)

I added a sentiment from the We've Got Your Sticker Plus/Birdie collection.  I love how handy SRM's clear stickers are to use on stamped cards!  Inked a bit around my die cut rectangles, added a few sequins, and a button to finish it off.

You & me…A Wedding Layout by Tessa

Hello! Tessa with you today. My sister recently got married and in a quiet moment between set-up for the reception and the ring ceremony, my little girl and I snapped this photo:

I wanted my layout to be as soft as the photo, so SRM's new 4" wide, white lace was the perfect addition. I played up how sheer the lace is by placing metallic paper flowers behind the lace. I love how the rose gold peeks through and coordinates with the rose gold flowers on top of the lace.

For my title, I used the  BIG Love Clear Stamps. I also used the stitch stamp from the same set toward the bottom of my layout. Stamping it repeatedly and a little bit crooked gives the background woodgrain paper a weathered, distressed look.

From rustic to elegant, SRM has exactly what you need for any layout with a romantic feel!

FYI… I have not been a stamper in my crafty life…but I will be now!  I just love these new BIG stamps!

Lace Layout by Christine

The new lace from SRM can be used for so many different things and today I am going to show you how I used it to create the background of a layout! Christine joining you today with a sweet layout incorporating several SRM Stickers products.

I was inspired with the wider 4 inch white lace to try and use it as the backing to a cut file.  I laid out the lace onto a square piece of cardstock and adhered it.  I then used a fabric adhesive on the back of the cut file and attached the cut file to the lace.  

I love the delicate and feminine touch it adds not to mention texture that you just can't get from paper!  

I also used several other pieces from SRM Stickers to make this layout special.  I added a gold lace doily behind my picture to give it a base and to add to my color scheme.  And I created a unique border for the whole layout using different white sticker stitches.  I think the sticker stitches are a really nice complement to the lace with a feminine feel! I used white stitches from the Valentine's Sticker Stitches and Christmas Sticker Stitches.

The Purr-fect Card for the Purr-fect Day! by Amy

Hello!!  This is Amy here to share a sweet kitty card with you today.  I just love sweet little kitties and the ones in SRM's new A Cat's Life stamp by Jane's Doodles are Purr-fect!!

I stamped and colored this darling kitty in with my Copic markers.  I added a little bit of white pen accents and then fussy cut around him and then added him to the white label with some foam adhesive.  I stamped the sentiment and then mounted it onto the card with some ribbon and a button.  Here is a closer look at the fun image.....

To finish off the card, I added some Black Sticker Stitches and I also stamped the heart images from the stamp set onto the card base with some red ink.  I think that this would be a great card to give to someone who has been having a hard time and then has a great day, don't you?  I hope that you have a Purr-fect day, too!!

Dressed Up Gift Bags by Angi

Hello SRM fans! Angi Barrs here! I'm so glad to be back on the SRM team! I'm such a big fan of these great products!

My favorite things to make are gift bags. SRM has just the right products for my crafty addiction.  The embossed dots glassine bags are just one of my faves. I decided to dress them up with the new floral fabric ribbon and lace.

I also wanted to add a sentiment to my gift bag. I used the new Big Hello clear stamps. They are great for fun greetings on your craft projects.

I added a touch of the lace by wrapping it around a punched scallop circle . I added a small drop of fabric adhesive to hold it in place.

The bags are just the right size for small gifts or sweet snacks too! I've even used these bags for party favors. They were a hit with my guests.

Be sure to check out all of the new products in the SRM Store. The floral ribbon and lace will be used a lot on my projects. They are so girly and pretty!

Call me crazy, but I have no problem creating Christmas cards in July or August.

SRM Stickers has so many awesome new products coming to you! I added some of these to my project I'm sharing with you today! 

I created this card using some brand new Jane's Doodles stamps...they are so very fun! I love the way the stamps are so easy to work with, you'll want to pick up all of the new stamps for sure!  This design is called Warm Wishes.

Now let's take a look at this card:

See the white "merry christmas" sentiment?  That's a clear sticker from SRM's MERRY We've Got Your Sticker sheet.  It was perfect for this card. Love the happy scene created by the snowmen, trees and snowflakes combined with washi tape and vellum paper.  And don't forget the twine!  I used Carribbean for this card.  

Want some close ups.. I've got 'em! 

Look behind the snowman...you'll see another new SRM offering...LACE! It was such a light, airy and elegant backdrop for this card...a perfect touch! You can use it so many ways.

Here's the close up of the other snowman and snowflakes. There's another peek at that awesome lace.  Look at the details in these stamps!

These stamps are amazing, I can't say it enough.  I am not the best at stamping, so if I say the stamps are awesome, they truly are. I felt like I had been stamping for a long time! I didn't have to stamp and stamp and stamp to get the perfect image.

FYI… for stamping the images, I used some ombré ink, stamping onto a muted graph pattern paper.  I wanted the card to feel magical and dreamy… I used water color pencils to add some shading to the snowmen and trees, blended with a pain brush dipped in water.  The snowflakes were stamped with ombré ink also.  And the circle "snowballs" were made by taking the tip of an eraser on the ink pad and stamped onto paper.

Dolled up Linen & Lace Bags! by Michele

Michele here with some dressed up linen bags. Honestly these lace and linen bags are so cute without any embellishments, but I wanted to take them to the next level.  I used a flower die and some water colors to give them a bit of depth with darker pink in the center.

I added some leaves, a pretty clear bead to the center of the flower, and a bit of satin ribbon. 

I added a sentiment from the Birthday Birdie Stickers by the Dozen collection.  My girlfriends and I have been giving each other Pandora charms for our birthdays, and this will be the perfect vessel to place the lil' box in.  ;)

2016 Mini Calendar by Cathy

Today we welcome back to our new All Star Design Team Cathy Harper.  We love her bright and beautiful creations and are so happy to have her back!

Hi everyone!  Cathy here with you today to share a little calendar with the new Mini Decorative Calendars for 2016.  I don't often make things for myself, but when I saw this little metal piece at my local hobby store, I knew I could turn it into a cute little calendar for my scrap desk.  Plus, I will add a to the back each month as the year progresses.  

The SRM Mini Decorative Calendars measuring 2" x 2" are perfect for this project...the pages are 4x4 and these little calendars were just the right size. 

 

SRM now has this nifty little 

Wafer Thin Die for the Decorative Calendars, so creating the pieces was super easy.  

 I used my e-bosser to cut them all out of teal card stock and then added a similar shape in kraft card stock, embossed with different embossing folders.  After I had all my shapes cut and embossed, I just added the calendar stickers and had fun decorating with the gorgeous My Mind's Eye On Trend collection and Caribbean Baker's Twine!  I added little stickers to special dates through out the year.  

Here's a few of the months close up.  I love all the shapes and textures!

And my favorite month, September, will be my grand baby's first birthday.  I love this little calendar page and can't wait to add her photo to the back.  Honestly, I bet over half of the calendar pages will feature her pictures.

What a fun project this was to make!  Can't wait to start using it!

I love how this turned out!  It's the fist time I have made a mini calendar for myself.  I will be making a few more as gifts now that this great little die is available!
