Hey there! Michele here with a water colored card to share with you today!  I used this pretty new set by Jane's Doodles for SRM called Fancy Doodles. 

I stamped each flower twice with Versamark and heat embossed it in white. I used water colors on each flower and leaf. 

I fussy cut the flowers and popped the center flower up with foam tape. I added a pearl to each of the centers.   

I water colored the back panel in shades of purple and gold.  For my finishing touches I added several sequins, satin ribbon, and a clear sticker sentiment from SRM's Life is Good Border.

A 2016 Birthday Calendar Organizer by Tessa Wise

Hi!  It's Tessa Wise sharing a fun project with you today.   I created a birthday calendar that doubles as a card organizer.

The organizer is an A2 Clear Card Box.  It holds about 8 cards plus envelopes.  I decorated it with the large 2016 sticker from the Year of Memories/2016 sheet and added some cardstock and patterned papers around the middle of the box.  I also added a bit of Honeydew Baker's Twine around it for embellishment.

In the center of the box, I added a mini calendar sticker from the Mini Calendar Stickers/Decorative 2016 Sticker Sheet.  The year's worth of calendar stickers have been stuck down onto white cardstock and diecut using the new Wafer Thin Die made especially for them.  

I loved using this new decorative die for the Mini Calendar Deco design for this project!

I can circle the important dates each month so I don't forget to send my cards!  The extra month diecuts fit perfectly in one of the new Vintage Floral Bags:

Each month has a bit of velcro tape on the back of it.  I can easily change out each month as I go through the year.

When a new month comes around, I just change out the calendar and add my cards for that month!

I'm hoping this project will keep me organized and sending cards throughout the year!

Annette Allen here with you today to share a fun 2016 Calendar Idea.

And here's what I created! 

I gave each month a special color and then used a stencil to create a fun background.

 I purchased this fun frame from Ikea and removed the plastic interface so I could make a flip  calendar. There are so many fun ways to use the NEW Mini Calendar Stickers 2016. 

Be creative and get a head start. 

This calendar was simple and fun to make.

Hello!  Shantaie with you today with a BIG Thank You!

My love for paper crafting started with stamps, and oh my, I love these BIG SRM Thank you Sentiments in a BIG way!  

I imagined a shaker card the moment I laid eyes on this BIG stamp, and I adore that big sentiment in the background all surrounded by sequins! It just makes me smile!

I put my die cut machine to work for almost everything I make, I cut this card with my Silhouette as well as the leaves and swirls. My custom sequin mix is gold, pink, and copper to blend with the patterned papers, and the sentiment is stamped in a peachy coral to really stand out!

I hope you are loving these BIG Stamps as much as I am, let us know what you think!

Guest Designer - Virginia Lu

Oh so excited to have Virginia Lu as a guest designer here on the SRM Blog today!  What a great way to kick off the week!

We are honored to have Virginia playing with our Jane's Doodles Stamps, SRM Clear Sticker Stitches, SRM Chalkboard Makers, Kraft Pillow Boxes and Twine.  She is an incredible crafter and everything she does is perfection.  Here are some of the supplies Virginia used.

Hello friends!  As a design team alumni for SRM Stickers (2011 and 2013), I am so happy to be back here to share my guest design projects with you. The SRM products keep getting better and better. The varieties are awesome for any paper-crafters and event planners. I have used the SRM products many times for my own special occasions from wedding, birthday and dinner parties.

As an avid stamper, no post would be complete without sharing a card with you.

I love the Jar image from SRM's Jane’s Doodle Stamp “Life is Good”. I paired it up SRM doily. With some paper-piecing, this card is rather fun to create.



My 2nd project is to create watercolor tags. I also used “Life is Good” stamp set.  These small tags are handy to have and great for using on SRM's kraft pillow boxes wrapped in a doily and twine.

For my 3rd project, I created two large tags. I love creating my own watercolor paper! With SRM's chalk board markers, it’s easy to add the personal touches.

These tags can be for food displays or gift toppers. While I was at it, I also added the SRM Sticker Stitches to dress up the wooden clips!

I hope that you are inspired by my ideas and designs.  I so enjoyed creating them!

Butterfly Birthday Set by Tessa Wise

Hello!  It's Tessa Wise sharing with you today!  I have a little birthday gift to give out soon and thought it would be fun to package it up in a new Rustic Lace & Linen Bag.  I made a matching card while I was at it:

The new, adorable, Lace & Linen Bags are the perfect size for a small gift like jewelry or a bottle of nail polish.  They are already decorated with some pretty vintage-looking ribbon so all I did was tie it closed with some Strawberry Baker's Twine and add a tag.

The tag was made using the Jane's Doodles Life is Good Clear Stamp Set.  I stamped the tag in black ink and then stamped butterflies up one side using 3 different pink inks for an ombre effect.  

I cut out the tag and then added the sentiment from the Sentiment/Happy Birthday Sticker Sheet.

For my card, I decided to mirror the tag with the ombre butterflies.  I stamped them up one side and then splattered some peach mist over them.  I added some gold striped vellum to the bottom and wrapped the card front with more of that pretty Strawberry Baker's Twine.

I picked another sticker from the Sentiment/Happy Birthday Sticker Sheet and adhered it to some white cardstock.  I cut it into a square shape and matted it in coral cardstock.  I adhered it to my card with some dimensional foam adhesive.

Don't you think it's fun when the card matches the packaging?  I love it and I can't wait to give it to my friend!  

Linen Bag with Lace Card by Christine

Hi SRM fans! We've seen the release of the various new bags that SRM is carrying and we've got such a great variety. Christine joining you today and I am going to share with you that the bags don't have to just be used as gift bags!  I love the romantic feel of the Linen Bags with Lace so I decided to create a card incorporating one. 

I used the 3 X 5 Linen Bag with lace along with a 4 inch White Doily to create the base for my card.  It had a bouquet feel to it so I went with that and started adding flowers, leaves, and pins to play up that idea.  Although it looks like the flowers are tucked into the bag they are actually just placed at the top!

If you wanted to add a little gift inside the bag (jewelry would be a great fit) you could and the bag could easily be pulled off and opened! I didn't put anything inside of mine but did choose to top it with a sentiment.  I felt like the mood of the card called for a Fancy Sentiment so I used one from the Fancy Sentiment/Thanks set.

We can't wait to see what you create with these beautiful bags!

Vintage Floral Fabric Bags by Shantaie

I just got these new beautiful floral bags in the mail today and I simply couldn't wait to dress them up!

I think I love tea as much as I love coffee, and what a scrumptious way to present a few gourmet tea bags or aromatic loose tea as a favor or a thank you gift!  

I inked the edges of a white doily with pink ink and folded it over the top of the bag, added a paper flower cut with my Silhouette and a double twine bow.  To finish the bag I used a small white punched piece topped with a thank you sentiment sticker.  

 I can't decide which color combination I love best.  Light Pink with pink …

Or Olive with pink.  Just as long as it has pink…I'm OK!

3x5 Rustic Linen & Lace Bag (NEW Product alert)

I thought it would be fun to make the NEW 3x5 Rustic Linen & Lace Bag into being my gift-card holder. Plus I made this matching card using: Little Miss Mia and Seamus The Sheep. Now it is just that much more special.

I am using that sweet dog again from Little Miss Mia stamp set.

I used foam adhesives to adhere it to the 3x5 Rustic Linen & Lace Bag.

I also thought it would be fun to adhere some pretty sequins using glossy accents.  With that pretty lace on the bag you really do not need much.
