A Happy Hello

Good Morning! Did you see my post from yesterday? I announced our new Design Team. There is so much excitement buzzing about SRM Stickers and our new Team! We can't wait to show you their creations. In the meantime, here is a set of mini cards for ya. :) I used layered Cosmo Cricket flowers, cut with my Making Memories Slice Machine, as my focal points.

I wanted to see how well SRM Stickers would adhere to heavily glittered cardstock. I was pleased to see that it blends and adheres absolutely perfectly! In fact, it worked so well that I sprinted over to my local craft store and stocked up on a stack of white for future projects.

Quick Cards:
"Happy" & "Hello"

I'll be back tomorrow with a few St. Patrick's Day cards. Crafting with green normally doesn't excite me but these were a lot of fun to make. Come back and see us...and don't forget to follow! And, how about this -- the first person to comment on this post (you must be a follower) will receive a complete set of our Quick Cards stickers. Just email me with your postal address, lucky reader!

Norma's free-thinking approach to paper crafting shines through in her projects - they are beautiful! She has a flair for the little details that bring everything together.

Nina Brackett

Nina's cards are elegant, sophisticated, and stunning, every single time. She's a rising star and we are so glad she's now designing for SRM Stickers.

Kathy Racoosin

Kathy has to be the most diverse card makers I've ever encountered. She creates fun & funky cards with owls and monsters, and the next day, a breathtaking floral card. She's so talented. Go - check out her blog - see for yourself!

Deana Boston

Deana's work is uplifting and fun. She has a flair for design and her blog is a great read. Deana's a fantastic scrapper and we know you'll love her as much as we do!

Carole Kisch

Carole is another rising star that will surely shine bright in 2010. Her cards have a clean and professional quality with a touch of whimsy. We think she's incredibly talented and an asset to the Team.

Becky Williams

We can't decide if we're more in love with Becky's cards or layouts. She's one of the handful of scrappers who excell at both. Becky's a fantastic addition to this Team and we were thrilled when she accepted our invitation.

Amy Heller

You'll always be treated with an unexpected element in Amy's cards. Her cards pop with unique design and beautiful detail. She's going to do great things with SRM Stickers.

Welcome aboard, ladies, thank you for joining SRM Stickers! Quick Cards, Wednesday

Welcome back! Today's card uses our Quick Card set, "Love", again. So appropriate for this time of year. I wanted to create a valentine for my little boy, Logan, that wasn't pink and pretty with ribbon and bows. I went with red and stars. I used My Mind's Eye paper -- the stars are punch-outs that I distressed with an open pair of small scissors.

I hope he likes it and doesn't feel that it's "too mushy mom". :) I have a pair of minis to share tomorrow, stop by for a looky!

Quick Cards:
"Love"

Once again I have to send a HUGE thank you out to all of our design team applicants. Wow. There is so much talent out there and it was wonderful browsing your blogs and galleries. Susan and I knew the task was going to be bittersweet as we gathered together our first ever Design Team, while at the same time having to say no to so many other talented crafters. We are truly thankful for your interest in SRM Stickers.

All Design Team Invitations have been sent. We hope that those of you who didn't make the Team this time around will consider reapplying at our next Call in December.

I'll be posting our dream team on Monday! I think you'll adore them. You'll be seeing stellar scrapbook pages, cards, altered items - all kinds of beauties, created with SRM Stickers. They are an incredible bunch.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you get time at your craft table today. Remember, if you make something using SRM Stickers, add it our Flickr Gallery (link on sidebar), and let us all enjoy.

Quick Cards, Tuesday

Hello! As I mentioned yesterday, this week is all about our Quick Cards Sets. You can view them all, in yesterday's post. Today I used our "Love" set to create a focal point on my card. The bingo card punch-out is by My Mind's Eye -- it's the perfect size for a card panel.

I placed the heart sticker onto black cardstock and punched it out using my circle punch. It makes a perfect embellishment on a card that is in jeopardy of being too busy.

"Love"

Now for today's winner of our entire collection of Quick Cards Stickers;

Guiseppa, please email us to claim your prize! I'll be announcing a new winner, chosen randomly from our Followers, every day this week! Lastly, I want to send a huge Thank You out to everyone who applied to our Design Team! We'll be contacting selected candidates within the next few days.

Quick Cards Week

Welcome to another week of inspiration at SRM Stickers. This week, I'll be showcasing cards using our Quick Cards sets. We have 7 new sets that help you whip together cards in a snap. They measure 2 7/8” x 2 5/8”. You've seen them here, over the past few weeks, but here's a look at all of them;

Now for today's card! I used our Baby Boy set to create a simple card that pops. I layered the little baby feet sticker onto a punched circle, then again onto a punched scalloped circle. I was able to perfectly align my sentiment sticker by nesting it into the corner of my patterned paper panel. As I mentioned before, you can't even tell where the sticker starts and stops.

Which Quick Cards set is your favorite? Leave a comment on this post and let me know!

So let's start off the week with a give-a-way! I'll choose a random follower to receive a complete set of Quick Cards Stickers, every day. Be sure to check back each morning to see if you're a lucky winner.

Today's winner is...

Kissin' Krafts

Please email your postal address to us to claim your prize.

Reminders; Check out our February Challenge, HERE. You have until Midnight tonight to apply to our Design Team, HERE. Good luck!

Guest Designer, Heidi Van Laar

We are thrilled to have designer, Heidi Van Laar, join us today with a few greeting cards using SRM Stickers. You might recognize Heidi as a finalist in Paper Craft's 2009 Gallery Idol competition. Her work is widely admired. Thank you, Heidi, for sharing your talent with us today!

I asked Heidi to try her hand at creating a few cards that incorporated more than one SRM Sticker. SRM Stickers are so versatile, and she's done an amazing job showcasing them!

Monday marks the very last day to apply to our new Design Team! We are reviewing applications and having a grand time browsing some incredible work. Good luck, everyone! I'll back on Monday with more, and every day next week!

Sending Happy Thoughts

Hey everyone! Thanks for popping by SRM Stickers. I have a card for you today, one that uses many stickers. I created this card using Basic Grey's new line, "Origins". The collection includes a 12x12" sheet of full-color image stickers. I wanted to 'pop' my image stickers so I rubbed corn starch onto the back of them, to remove their stickiness. The flowers, leaves, and scalloped strip are all stickers, and of course the SRM Sticker sentiment!

I adhered a light-colored, grid patterned panel onto the inside of my card, so that I can write my greeting. The dark green, textured back panel wasn't suited for writing.

Ingredients:
"Thinking of You"

I'm so excited to tell you about our new public gallery! If you create anything using SRM Stickers, you are invited to share it with the world in our new;

Valentine Treats

Welcome to SRM Stickers! I have some Valentine treat bags for you today. I have to tell you that I made FOURTY-EIGHT(!) of these, for my girls to give to their classmates. They were a lot of fun to make, and they are all unique! I used our "Love" set of stickers which gave me many sentiments to choose from. I wrapped miniature Hershey bars in patterned paper and created 'toppers' for the cello bags.

Ingredients:
"Love"

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? If so, leave a comment and let us know how! I'd love to read how other people treat February 14th. Come back again tomorrow for more sticker ideas!
