ATC Tray 2016 Calendar by Amy

Hello everyone!!  This is Amy here to share a fun calendar project with you.  It would be a great gift idea for that hard to buy friend or family member on your list this year.  I created a calendar project with a black ATC Tray that I purchased but didn't quite know how to use.  I saw that they would fit the mini calendar stickers perfectly and then came up with this fun idea...….

I used the 2016 Decorative Mini Calendar Stickers mounted on vanilla cardstock and then used the matching Wafer Thin Die to cut out each month.  I filled in the tray with papers from the Echo Park Times and Season 2 collection.

I used some mini clothes pins covered with various black and white washi tapes.  I glued these in and then clipped the calendars into them that way they are interchangeable each year.

At the top, I used a 2016 Year of Memories Sticker on some vanilla cardstock and then put some brads into is and glued it to the top of the tray.  I will have to take it off and put on a new year next time, but It won't be too difficult.

To finish it off, I tied up some black and white ribbons at the top.  So, what do you think??  I can't wait to display this in my home (or even gift it) this year.

Have a great day!!

Getting Organized with SRM Stickers by Christine

We often use our paper craft supplies for fancy, fun, and whimsical creations.  But every once in a while we find a really sensible use for them that will enhance our everyday life.  Christine joining you today to show how I used supplies from SRM to create a new filing system! What!?!  Yep, a filing system, with paper craft supplies!

Our family is busy and with four kids, I have to be organized or things get ugly.  One of my biggest weaknesses is having too many piles of paper work.  Bills, invitations, school newletters, they take over fast.  And then I can't find anything!  So when I saw this post recently on creating a "Tickler File" on Home Solutions 101.  The basic idea is to jog your memory on upcoming events, tickets, bills due, etc.  Click on the link and it will take you right through how to set it up! It's a system I knew would work for me so I got right to creating it!

Using Number Stickers and Calendar stickers are the obvious part and SRM has a variety of them available in the Calendar section of the store.! I used months from the Year of Memories Sticker Set.  But wait til you see how I made the file tabs!

Our new Wafer Thin Die for the Decorative Calendar Sticker works perfectly!  I cut enough to make tabs for 31 days and 12 months.

Running it thru a xyron machine allowed me to have a strong adhesive when I secured it to the file folders.

So there you have it!  Just another way to use those paper crafting skills and supplies for something that came make your life even better!

Mini Calendar & Die by Shantaie Fowler

I have a sweet little mini calendar set to share with you today that can easily be made in multiples for the upcoming gift giving season.

I started with a simple sheet of 12X12 kraft cardstock cut to 5.5" X 12 and scored at 6".

From there I cut a 4"X 5.5" piece and scored it at 1"-2" 3" to create the easel base. Embellished with papers that inspire you and add a layer of ecru lace, ribbon and gold shimmer twine.

I applied each calendar month to coordinating papers and cut them using the mini calendar die and my cuttlebug, I then attached them to 3"X 3" squares of cream cardstock and added  the calendar months up top for added boldness
{ I love this look!} I punched a small hole in the set and placed a brad to hold them together, {A kraft bag would be great to store them in too!}
Now stow the upcoming months inside the easel and clip the current month to the front with a border sticker embellished clip.

Fun with Dies, Boxes and Stamps by Angi

Hello and let's welcome back the uber talented Angi Barrs!

We are super excited to have her on our All Star Team!  We simply love her style!  Now let's hear from Angi in her own words…

*****

Hello! Angi Barrs with you today! I am so blessed to have wonderful friends. I always like to thank them in some way when they do something thoughtful for me. Here is a "thank you" gift that I came up with using some fun products from SRM Stickers.

I mixed three different SRM products to make this one. First up is a "thank you" tag.

The tag is adorned with a canvas piece to add some texture. I used the wafer thin die and white cardstock to add a layered piece. This die coordinates with the mini calendar stickers, but can be used for other purposes too. I love to use it to add sentiments to my projects.

I also used the Jane's Doodles "Fancy Doodles" stamp set to add a sentiment and flower. I placed a tiny gem in the center of the flower to give it some shine.

I then dressed up an SRM kraft window box. You can use them for a variety of projects. I added coordinating washi tape to both the box and tag. I also stamped an extra flower for the outside of the box.

The "thank you" tag, confetti paper, and a gift card easily fit inside the box. Each of these window boxes comes with a clear film that you can adhere to the inside of the box. This ensures that your contents won't fall out.

Here's the beautiful "Fancy Doodles" stamp set that I used for the sentiment and the flower embellishment.
