New Product Introduction - Calendars - Day #2

It's Calendar time!  And SRM offers lots of options for calendars!  

First up, our Keepsake Calendars!  The 12 x 12 Calendar is back by popular demand!  This product is perfect for creating scrapbook like pages on the top of each month.  Here's the 3 sizes of Keepsake Calendars:  12 x 12, 8 x 8 and 6 x  6.  Which one is your favorite?

New Product Introduction - Bible Journaling & Planner Stamps - Day #1

Welcome to Day #1 of our Summer 2016 Product Introduction.  For the next 5 days you will be treated to a variety of new products that we are very excited about.   

Today we are sharing with you 10 new Bible Journaling stamps and 3 new Planner stamps. 

SRM has always had products with Faith themes and with the growing popularity of Bible Journaling we are expanding that offering.  Here are the 10 new faith stamps.  Enjoy! 

I love how these stamps can be used to create so many different verses or expressions.  Like the first one can be: 

The Lord is kind & merciful 
The Lord is my strength
The Lord is my light 
The Lord is my shepherd 
The Lord is my Savior 
The Lord is my Refuge 
The Lord is my Rock

And I love the combination of words, fonts, images and borders.  You know how much I love Sticker Stitches and now they are part of many of our stamps. 

For those crafters who do not illustrate of do lettering, these stamps are perfect!  And even for those who do illustrate and do lettering, these stamps will blend in nicely with their work. 

These stamps are great not only for Bible Journaling but also for Faith cards and layouts.  

And we have 3 new BIG Faith stamps too!  Love the bold words and the stamped stitches too!

Planners Gotta Plan by Tenia

Stickers & Twine by Amy

Twine and clear stickers are a great combination!  Both are easy to use and both look great.  Just ask Amy Crockett…who uses this combination all the time.  

Today I'm sharing a few of Amy's Twine/Stickers projects that I simply love.  First up is a little teacher gift that she made using a little paint can topped off with a lovely tag that's embellished with a Thanks sticker and some Peapod and Cappuccino Twinery Twine.  YUM! 

The next project is a wonderful little tag that Amy created using images from the Silhouette store topped off with a SRM Sticker and Twinery Twine.  

And the final project is a birthday card with a rainbow fringe of twine and topped off with a Fancy Sticker Sentiment.  

So make sure that you have plenty of clear SRM stickers and Twinery Twine in your stash.  You'll be amazed what you can create with this winning combination!

It's All About Heart Bible Journaling by Shannon

Good Morning!  Shannon here today to share some of my Bible Journaling with you.  Bible journaling is such a wonderful and personal craft.    By the way, SRM has a Bible Journaling Facebook group called Bible Journaling Journey.  Come join us HERE.  

June is Ordinary Time for my faith, but it is anything from ordinary. We devote a whole month to The Sacred Heart of Jesus, not to be overshadowed, we also honor The Immaculate Heart of Mary. These two hearts work in everyone's lives, whether they realize it or not. For those of us who call on them daily, they are a source of peace, love, growth, comfort, devotion, a safe place to tell your sorrows and joys to. 

My page I am sharing with you, it's a declaration of sorts, the reading is a sad one, before Jesus dies on the cross, and breathes his final breath, but it is a powerful declaration. Mary is mother to us all. She loves us and wants the very best for us. She is our protector, she is the one who wraps her arms around us in deep sorrow or celebratory joy. She is amazing and all the love in the world could never compare to the love she feels for each and every one of us.

I used many SRM goodies to create this page, the products are the perfect size for the limited margins in a journaling bible, and you truly can add dimension without bulk. I used SRM Glassine Bags as a subtle layer, you can still see the text and colors behind.  Large Scalloped Punched Pieces make a big impact and  an additional layer.

If you are looking for a quick way to add some journaling, SRM has tons of stickers with great sentiments, I used Free Style/Thrive and Sentiment/Shine Your Light to add some loving words. I can't complete any project without using my Le Pen or Sticker Stitches.

Splish Splash by Shantaie

All occasion cards are by far the ones I find the most useful, I like to keep a stack of them ready to fill in quickly for life's little emergencies, a "thank you" or "I miss you" or even just to spread a little cheer.


You know nautical is always in style, but this summer it seems trendier than ever and that is fine with me!!! I really do love this updated version of vintage nautical. How perfect is that stripe of "splish splash" flowing along the bottom of the card? It is such a fun way to tie the whole card together!

For this card I used:
4" white doily  
Express Yourself water fun stickers
Gold shimmer bakers twine

Mini Calendar by Christine

When Christine Meyer wants to make a crafty gift, she often thinks "Mini Calendar"!  They  are perfect to make for little gifts for the  holiday season!  Never too early to get started!  Here's Christine's Mini Calendar that hangs in a frame and is perfect to set on a desk.

This project is a quick and easy one!  Christine used some ready made tags as the base for each month.   The tags came in a variety of colors and since she loves color she went with that!  But you could just as easily do it with all white tags or black or kraft and make it less bright!  The Wafer Thin Die for the Decorative Calendar made cutting out the Decorative Calendars fast!  She cut out a simple patterned paper and put that on each tag.  She then used the metal die cut to cut out the calendar stickers and mounted those to the white cardstock.  Christine added those to the center.  Once they were done she added them to a jump ring.

Remove the glass part out of this standing frame and then put the jump ring at the top so the tags were hanging down and can be flipped over for each new month.

To add some variety Christine used different sticker stitches throughout, both black and white.

Mini Calendar by Roberta Rosi

Today we have a treat for you!  It's a project from Roberta Rossi creating the most wonderful boxed mini calendar using SRM Stickers and one of our rectangular clear boxes.  Roberta made this project in 2014 when she was a member of our design team.  Just change the stickers to the 2017 version and you are good to go!

And to hold her Mini Calendar, Roberta used this rectangular clear container. 

And now we'll show you how she made it!   First Roberta  covered the outside with a strip of paper ( 10 ½ " x 3 5/ 8 "). , She also cut  4 squares of paper 2 ½ "x 2 ½ " (two yellow and two gray ) to cover the bottom and the cover of the box which helps the box to become more rigid and sturdy.

She then cut out 6 rectangles in yellow cardstock (2 ¼ "x 3 ½ ") and adhered the calendar months to the white cardstock.  She cut out the months by hand.

She decorated with stitching and borders the six yellow cards on both sides.

With pop dots Roberta put the 12 months, two on each yellow card (front and back and decorated them with Stone twine.

With a Sizzix die Roberta cut flowers in yellow cardstock and she assembled them to make it 3D. 

On three sides of the box she attached strips of kraft high ¾ " and decorated with Sticker Stitches.

On the cover of the box I attached the flower and a 2014 sticker mounted on Kraft. (change that to the 2017 sticker)  And now the box is ready to be loaded with the mini calendars!

Just put the mini calendars inside the box.  You will have 6 cards with 12 months and be sure to include a small metal clamp inside as well.

To use as a calendar, simply remove the first month from the box, attach it to the top front of the box with the metal clamp. 

 Brilliant and beautiful!  

Roberta is from Milan, Italy.  You know that Milan is the design capital of the world.  When someone asks you about the calendar that you made, you can simply say "It's an Italian design!"  And it is!  Thanks Roberta for this ingenious project.  It is truly an inspiration!

Mini Calendar Gift by Lorena

I celebration of our new 2017 Mini calendars, this week we are sharing some of my favorite mini calendar projects from our Design Team.  Today we have a little beauty from Lorena Cantó.  Using the 2017 Standards Mini calendars, 2017 Year of Memories and one of SRM's small glassine bags, you can create this little beauty too!

Lorena wanted a calendar that could be pinned to a cork or bulletin board and changed every month.  She created 12 die cut tags and adhered different colored 1/2" strips to each of them.   She then placed the calendars on each month.  What a happy project!

Once the individual months are finished she created a cover page with the year.  You change it to 2017 to make it current and you are good to go!  Put them all inside a small SRM glassine bag and it's great to use for yourself or to make for gifts.  

Super fun, super fast and something that anyone would love to receive.
