SRM Stickers + Ribbon! (WCMD Winners, too!)

We recently asked Clare Buswell to do her magic using SRM Stickers and ribbon. We love the project she created!

Clare says, "I used the dotty border from We've Got Your Border - Thanks (57004) and added it to white seam binding. I was surprised at how easy it was to tie the bow with the sticker on it. I love the effect -- the border stickers are perfect for this."

Clare also used Labels by the Dozen - Everyday Brights (63001) and Sticker Sentiments - Happy Birthday (51003).

Guest Designer; Juliana Michaels

My name is Juliana Michaels. I currently live in Quincy, IL with my husband Danny. We don't have any children, but we have a big ol' paint horse named Woody. He is my husband's pride and joy. He is also his stress release...kind of like scrapping is for me! I work full time as a physical therapist at a local nursing home and I dream of one day working part time to have more time to scrap, workout, garden, cook and travel.

I've been scrapping for a little over 15 years and I have been fortunate to design for several different manufactures. I am currently designing for Bo Bunny, Bella Blvd, and I am a sketch designer for a blog called Creative Scrappers. I have also had my work featured in multiple publications, including Paper Crafts, Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooking & Beyond, Paper Creations, Cricut Magazine, Card Trends, Scrapbook Trends, and Simply Handmade. I love working with my hands to create things. I love trying new techniques and products. The products are almost always what inspire me to create whatever it is that I make whether it be a card, a scrapbook layout or an altered object/home decor item. I was first introduced to SRM Stickers about two years ago when I was part of the Cricut Design Team. I have grown to love these stickers and what they can add to any type of project I create. I am thrilled to have been asked to share my projects with you and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them!

Clare's Christmas Event

Clare Buswell went to work with our many holiday stickers to create a fun Christmas party event. She created party invitations, party favors, and Christmas Crackers for the table that can be personalized with a name to use as place cards;

Clare says, "For the Christmas Party favors I made little Christmas Trees using the Mini Tube (38003), We've Got Your Border - Christmas (57006) and Quick Cards - Merry (52013). I drew a template for the trees, traced onto green card, and painted the white dots. The tubes have woodgrain embossed brown paper lining them."

The Christmas Crackers (traditional here in Ireland and the UK, other places too I'm sure!) were made from white paper with cardboard inserts inside. I used We've Got Your Border - Christmas (57006) and Stickers By the Dozen - Christmas (62002).

"For the Party Invitations, I used We've Got Your Stickers Plus - Christmas Tree (54006) layered onto a die cut scalloped circle, I used one of the border stickers from We've Got Your Border - Christmas (57006) on some ribbon and the white sentiment is from We've Got Your Sticker - Merry (53006)."

"Inside the invitation I used You're Invited - Blank Invite (58000)."

Calendar Keepsake by Corrie

Corrie Jones accepted our challenge to create a 12x12" 2013 calendar using SRM's calendar products and stickers. She did an amazing job! Corrie had 12x12" black and white photographs printed to serve as her monthly focal points - gorgeous! Be sure to click on the photos to view them super-sized.

Holiday Tubes by Jamie

Jamie Cripps used her die cut machines and SRM TUBES to create a Hot Chocolate Gift Set (with marshmallows!) And as a special treat, Jamie is sharing a tutorial on creating the tube holder. Scroll down to view (and be sure to click on the images to view them full-sized).

Tube Holder Instructions;

1. Cut cardstock to 12" x 10" and score at 2" and 10". Turn and score again at 2", 4", 6-1/2", and 8-1/2". Fold on all the score marks then cut six slices. Using a 1-1/4" circle punch, create three holes as shown.

2. Flip the cardstock over and fold up the back of the box as shown.

3. Adhere the top of the back of the box down.

4. Fold up the sides of the box and adhere inside.

5. Adhere the remaining tabs inside the box.

6. Fill three tubes with hot chocolate and marshmallows and decorate as desired!
