Party Banner by Tracey

Tracey Taylor created a year-long PARTY banner that's just too much fun!

Tracey says, "I was inspired to make a PARTY banner using a collage of calendars and party sentiments so the banner could be used all year long for any party occasion. I took apart a canvas banner mini album and strung it together with binder rings to make the banner. What I like best about this project is how quickly and easily it was put together with minimal product. I also love how easily one can create a collage with SRM's clear stickers."

Frankentube by Jan

Jan Tatomir got clever with a Mini Tube! Jan says, "I found these unfinished coffins at my local craft store and knew a mini tube would fit inside. I decorated the tube as a somewhat cute Frankenstein with the stand-up hair, scar, and bolts sticking out from his neck! I added the left over piece from the scallop at the bottom to look like his boots.

I finished the casket with alcohol inks, regular ink, and pattern paper. I added the We've Got Your Border Halloween stickers to the outside of the casket and placed the Happy Halloween sentiment from the Halloween Stickers by the Dozen."

Stick around, we have a lot more to inspire you this week!

Eek!

Halloween is right around the corner and if you're looking for layout inspiration, here's a fun layout by Valerie Mangan. Valerie says, "The versatility of the new We've Got Your Border and Labels by the Dozen stickers amazes me! For my Halloween page they worked perfectly together.  To form the letters in my large title I applied the border stickers to a piece of cardstock (that matched the background of the page) then trimmed them. The strips were easy to manipulate and arrange into any word I wanted... 'eek!' seemed appropriate!"

"When I applied them to the page, I deliberately let them curl up here and there to add some dimension. Here you can see a label sticker, re-purposed as a photo corner, peeking out from behind the main photo."

"I trimmed another border sticker into pennant shapes and applied the little descriptive words to my photos - just love that typewriter font!"

"You can see one of the labels sticking out - I rotated the label so the 'to' & 'from' were hidden under the photo then stamped the date."

Christmas Ornaments and Tags

It's never too early to start on your Christmas projects, right?! There are so many fun and unique ways to celebrate with papercrafts. Here are just a few ideas from Amy Duff and Corrie Jones.

Amy says, "I bought clear glass ornaments at a local craft store and then used red, white, and green card stock to create these ornaments that double as tags for packages. I am so excited to use these on my gifts this year!"

"I painted" the inside of the clear ornament by filling with white acrylic paint. Next I placed my label on white cardstock and trimmed. The fancy sentiment was placed on a punched green circle. I added a few rhinestones to embellish. I used craft glue dots to adhere to the center of my ornament. The next ornament uses the same steps except I did not "paint" it."

Corrie got a jump on her handmade holiday tags using Labels by the Dozen - Christmas and Fancy Sticker Sentiment - Christmas;

We have a lot for you this week -- Valerie Mangan is up tomorrow with a Halloween layout that you'll want to CASE!

Thank You Gift Set by Jan

Welcome back! We have a lot in store for you this week including Halloween projects, a new shabby calendar by Shannon, and even some Christmas items! Jan Tatomir is here today to share a happy little gift set using a TUBE.

Jan says, "While we were gone for the day, I had our neighbor feed and water Lucky, our cat. She is young and her Mom wouldn't let me pay her so I made up this little flower pot and seed gift set to thank her. She loves to help her Mom with the gardening so I think she will like this."

"The flag is sticking into a little pod of soil that the pot came with. I didnt care for all the space so I punched a hole through 2 layered flowers for a "pot topper". cut off the "to & from" on one of the Labels by the Dozen and made the flag and added the "thanks a bunch" sentiment."

"I added the daisy chain and the scallops from the Thank You Borders to decorate the Skinny Tube and filled it with a mix of wild flower seeds."

We carry several sticker options when you want to say 'thank you' or 'thinking of you' - check them out HERE!

Halloween Frame by Carolyn

Carolyn King altered a frame in such a cute and festive way! Carolyn says, "I thought this was a cute way to use the border sheets. I framed a Halloween picture of my daughter that was just a little bit smaller than the frame. I used the We've Got Your Border Halloween stickers to create a mat for the picture to add some pop of color. I also used the Stickers by The Dozen Halloween stickers to add the sentiment on the pumpkin. I added two more border stickers on the frame itself to add more color."

Thanks for visiting SRM Stickers this week. We're here every weekday with brand new designs - you don't want to miss a beat!

Tiny Calendar Keychain by Christine

Christine Ousley really thought 'out of the' box when we asked her to work our new 2013 Tiny Calendar Stickers... Christine says, "I love calendars. I have one on my desk, one on my phone, and one hanging in the kitchen. I can't tell you how many times I am asked by someone if I know what date is the third Saturday in a month or what day of the week is a certain date. Of course I am always ready with an answer. So I thought why not also have that information ready and hanging right off my keychain?!"

"The keychain calendar measures 1 1/2 x 2 inches. It's super small and oh so cute! I used the newest addition to the SRM Stickers calendar series, Tiny Calendars 2013 - 48099. Each calendar measures 1 x 1 inches! I also used image stickers from the new Calendar Companion sticker sheet - 48010, and the year stickers off of the new Year of Memories 2013 sticker sheet - 48007 and a few other monthly sticker sheets."

"It was pretty easy to create calendar book. I cut each page from heavy white cardstock and adhered my calendar and image stickers. Then I clipped them together with a heavy duty paper binder/clip. Next I smeared a heavy layer of Glossy Accents to the binding side of the stack and let dry overnight. The next morning all of the pages were stuck together and would flip like a book. Then I added some ribbon on the binding to create a hanger and covered the outside with patterned paper. The mini book is very sturdy and I think will hold up to me throwing it in my purse for the year. I also think that this would make an awesome gift for coworkers or family and friends. In fact, I've already had some requests for them so I better get busy!"
