Amy's Countdown to Christmas

Amy Crockett created a fun wall-hanging, just in time for Christmas!

Amy says, "I used my Cricut to cut the little boxes. I put fun little things like Christmas buttons, stickers, candy, as well as fun activities in each one, as we countdown the 12 days of Christmas. I have many windows in my house and not much wall space, so this will fit perfectly on a thin strip of wall. I was also thinking of expanding it to 24 days!"

Supplies: Large Calendar Numbers and Fancy Christmas Stickers.

New Year's Tubes

Rae Barthel created a set of confetti-filled New Year's tubes for her family -- little goodies to help them ring in the new year. She took regular silver basket shred, chopped it into tiny bits, then stuffed it into the tubes; they will be opened and thrown outside...

Rae attached a placard to a wooden box, and placed the tubes inside.

Rae used two matching stickers on the tubes for her and her husband.

Rae used three matching stickers on the tubes for her kids (pink confetti for her daughter, of course!).

Rae finished off her tube set by adding stickers to the lids.

Supplies; Quick Cards #52032 New Year's; Year of Memories #48004 2012; Sticker Sentiments #51013 Congratulations.

2011 XC Layout by Melanie

Melanie Jarocki created a layout to document her daughter's Cross-Country Season this past Fall using our Athlete stickers;

Melanie says, "I made a large pocket to house her certificate, times sheet, and a full-page of journaling that I typed. For the pocket I trimmed 1/2" off the top of the blue paper, then cut off the top right corner. I then stitched around the sides and bottom to attach it to the back sheet of cardstock."

Melanie also used our 2011 Year of Memories stickers to complete her layout. Thank you for joining us this week. Please stop by on Monday to view our 2012 Design Team Call!

2012 Journal by Melanie

Melanie Jarocki assembled a lovely 2012 journal using using chipboard, patterned paper, lined school paper, bind-it-all, and SRM Stickers. She decided to use all of the Mini Calendar Stickers to decorate the cover.

Melanie cut the patterned paper squares to 2.5x2.5 inches then adhered them to the red dotted paper. After placing the calendar stickers onto the squares, she stitched along the squares for a quilted look.

Melanie added more SRM Stickers from the 2012 Year of Memories sheet, and used the big one on a transparency. She punched holes in the transparency to line up with the binding, but then cut slots in each hole so the transparency can be removed and placed as a bookmark in the binding anywhere in the book.

Snow Tubes by Renee

One of Renee Morris-Dezember's treasured holiday traditions is creating handmade ornaments for each of her children. This year, she had a clever idea to fill our standard-sized tubes with test tubes containing "Make Your Own Snow". Renee used die cuts, photographs (taken the day of the season's first snowfall), and SRM Stickers to decorate the ornaments;

We have a great idea to create a 2012 journal that we'll be showing tomorrow. Come back and see us!

P.S. Spread the word! Our 2012 Design Team call is on the horizon! We'll be posting everything you need to know on December 5th.
