Day #3 - Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - LOVE Gift Cards by Tessa Wise

It's Tessa Wise sharing today!  I am always inspired when I see the cute gift cards at stores - especially Starbucks!  Why put them inside the card when you can use them on the front?  They make the perfect focal point.

I layered some gold polka-dot vellum onto a kraft card base and then lightly adhered the gift card over the center.  I added a striped strip of patterned paper just below the edge and then had fun with some Black Sticker Stitches!  I added them underneath the gift card but in places it is clear so you can see through it below.  I added the sentiment sticker from the Sentiments/Congratulations Sheet.  Then I embellished with a few sequins and some Solid Pink Sorbet Baker's Twine.

    what a great way to use the Starbucks coffee gift card! I love those stitches stickers, too. since I can't sew worth beans, (ha!), they come in quite handy for me! such a fun, bright, happy card! :)

    This is absolutely gorgeous. That gold polka dotted vellum has got to be one of my favorite papers ever, and those zig zag stitched stickers are so cool. Great idea to frame the gift card on the front. Really like this one! Bev
