Happy 4th of July! Hope you are all planning lots of "happy" things to do throughout the day and evening.
Today we are sharing the first project from Michele Kovack whose crafting skills are amazing. We are so blessed to have her on our team. Prepare for some inspiration! :)
When Michele thinks of "happy" she usually thinks of bright, fun colors! So when she took her bag of Punched Pieces from SRM she wanted them to reflect happiness. She took out her alcohol inks and started randomly squirting them the white scalloped circles with various colors. She loved the splotched, colorful look!

Since Michele is a total hoarder and never seems to throw anything away, she keeps all of her cuts from previous projects. In a way, it's a good thing she does, because it saves her time later! The flower she used on this project, for example, was from a previous project that didn't make the cut. The leaves were also from something else but the worked perfectly here! Michele added a bit of ribbon and her Happy Day sentiment sticker from SRM's Stickers by the Dozen Birthday Birdie sheet.
Michele loved how this card turned out and has a few more ideas about how to used SRM's Punched Pieces. Stay tuned for more Punched Pieces projects in the very near future! Have a happy day!
Love Michele's card, the colors are beautifully bright and vivid and I love the look of the alcohol inks!
