When Angélique Jarrier received her new SRM Vinyl she was excited to try it. She wanted to create a fun game for her daughter's Lilou's birthday party so she set the work. Lilou loves Monster High so that was the theme of the party!
First Angélique chose White, Black and Pink SRM Vinyl.
Not having a Silhouette or Cricut, Angélique created templates from images found on a Monster High fan website: http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/monster-high
I'm always amazed at the intricate projects that Angélique loves to make. And hand cutting all these pieces is truly a labor of love. I know that the "cool ghouls" will appreciate it! Here's the image on the back of her black SRM Vinyl. It's from Oracal, the finest vinyl available.
Here are the black and white images that she hand cut and layered on her final project.
And here are the two pieces put together! Her Monster High image is coming together nicely.
Now Angélique creates pink bow ties.
And she adds some black vinyl to give detail to them.
She then adds black velcro on the back of each bow. And she places some black velcro onto the black bow so that she can attach the pink bow onto the black bow.
She made a template for Monster High.
And then cut out the letters.
Angélique put it all together and here's the finished project! A darling game for the girls to play. The object of the game is who can place the pink bow on just the right place. Kind of an updated version of "Pin the Tail on the Donkey"! FUN!
Vinyl can be used for so many different kinds of projects! And SRM Vinyl comes in so many different colors and styles, the possibilities are unlimited!
Be sure to leave a comment here on the blog for a Vinyl GIVEAWAY. One lucky fan or friend will get a stash of SRM's new vinyl. It might just be YOU!
