World Card Making Day Bloghop


Happy World Card Making Day and welcome to the SRM Stickers blog!  We are thrilled to be participating in this Mega WCMD Bloghop sponsored by Operation Write Home.  We are featuring 5 of our Design Team members.  SRM Stickers loves and supports the work of Operation Write Home as they have sent over 2.5 MILLION cards to our heroes.  Simply amazing! 

  Be sure to leave a comment and you will be in the running for one of 5 "Thank You" prize packets pictured at the bottom of this blog. 

 Now let's take a look at the cards our team has created.  All are made using the guidelines of Operation Write Home.  Hope these give you some major inspiration!  WARNING:  Long post with lots of inspiration some of SRM's Design Team members.  Enjoy!

First up is Michelle Giraud.  She loves making cards from sketches and she found the OWH sketches to be so easy to follow.  She had a hard time choosing her favorite sketch, so she created 3 cards in just 45 minutes using SRM's Thank You Sticker Sentiments and Fancy Sticker Sentiments and a touch of twine. Which one is your favorite?







Here's a bright and beautiful card from Corri Garza who loves using her die cutting machine to dress up her cards.  Corri used a sentiment from SRM's Thank You Sticker Sentiment sheet.  SRM's clear sticker sentiments work well on any card.  She did a horizozntal take on Sketch #119 for her card.  So fun!




Laurel Seabrook loved so many of the OWH sketches since they were all so fun.  She chose #164.  What a beautiful card made using SRM's Fancy Sticker Sentiments Thank You design.  



Angi Barrs created this fun card using OWH's Sketch #149 and some SRM Thank You Border Stickers.  What a "hoot"!  Don't you just love that owl?



For her card, Latrice Murphy made it all about the stickers!  That makes sense since she loves using her clear SRM Sticker Sentiments.  Latrice was inspired by sketch #189 which is so fun and quirky.  Perfect!  Love the bright, bold colors and the use of black and white.

    Wow it is hard to pick just one! I think my favorite is the leaf with twine card. Michelle's second card with the bird I like too! But you can't help but love the owl...and the heartfelt thanks card that was turned, love when people think out of the box! Thanks for sharing!

    Cards are so delicious and stickers even more! Love the owl one a lot! I would sure use those stickers on my cards (so easy not to make a mess with stamps and inks when you have those gorgeous stickers! ). So much hope to win some!
