Please welcome Guest Designer Tessa Wise! We love her fun and fresh style! We've been admiring Tessa's work from afar but today we get to see it up close and personal! What a talent! No wonder she placed in the top tiers of Paper Crafts Gallery Idol in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
Here's a bit about Tessa in her own words.
"I live in Northern Virginia with my husband and my two little girls. They keep me busy but in my spare time, I love to make cards and scrapbook! You can see my work on my blog, Crafty Girl Designs. Currently, I work at Scrapdoodles, a local scrapbook store part time where I teach and coordinate the class schedule. I am also on the design team for Inspired Blueprints, an online sketch challenge site."
So what happens when we gave Tessa all the new products from CHA Winter? She went right to work and created magic! In fact, Tessa had so much fun that she created two different sets of projects so we decided to feature her today and tomorrow!
First up in this trio of projects with a focus on Spring is a card featuring SRM's Thank You Stickers by the Dozen, SRM's Pastel Border and some delicious Shore Twine. Tessa paired them with Pebbles Family Ties line. A little birdie told me that she has flipped for the new Glassine Bags from SRM! Tessa used a glassine bag to add a gift card to the front of her first card.
Then Tessa took a SRM Mini TUBE, decorated it with Thank You Stickers by the Dozen and Twine and filled it with her favorite chocolate eggs. YUM!
Still feeling crafty, Tessa created another card using using a Stickers by the Dozen sentiment and added a doily, a birdhouse image and another touch of Twine.
And here's what they look like all together.
Here's what Tessa has to say about using SRM Stickers:
"SRM Stickers are great! The Stickers By the Dozen sheets are my favorite. Each sheet comes with multiples of each sentiment. Love how they come in a variety of fonts and work so well with any style of card. Love how easy they are to use!. Also love that SRM Stickers is offers more then just stickers. Their glassine envelopes, clear pillow boxes, and TUBES make it so easy to give out little treats in a creative way. I can't wait to use them over and over again!"
Thank you Tessa for sending so many cheery projects our way. Be sure to drop by tomorrow when Tessa will share with us an adorable trio of Disney inspired projects! And there will be a GIVEAWAY too!
