Welcome back! I have a few projects for ya today, I hope you enjoy. One of my favorite SRM Sticker sets is "Thinking of You". I love this set because it's extremely versatile, and the phrases are so uplifting and happy. They make me smile. :) I used the "just a note" sentiment a few ways, let me show you...
First up are a few notecards. They aren't exactly mini-cards, but they're not full sized cards either. I make a lot of this size, approximately 4x4", give or take a half inch. I use them when I'm sending packages to friends or to my scrappy sisters, and about once per week, I put one in my 7 year old daughter's lunchbox. She loves it when I do...she has kept all of her lunchbox 'love notes' for the past two years!
I used October Afternoon's "Road Trip" line for all of my projects today. The collection contains cardstock labels that work perfectly in showcasing my SRM Sticker sentiments.
A few days ago, when my girls and I were on our weekly trip to the dollar store to search for alterable treasures, I came across these tall notepads. They measure 3 x 7.5". Four pads for a dollar - can't beat that!
I created a cover for them but cutting a piece of double-sided, heavy-weight patterned paper to 6.25 x 7.5" then scoring it at 3" and again just a smidge over, to accommodate the thickness of the notepad. I attached the notepad to the back cover, folded over the front cover, and embellished. Once again, I used my trusty "just a note" sticker, layered onto a label.
The apple was cut from my Slice Machine, I added a few gemstones, and called it done. This is a perfect project for mass-producing, it's so quick & easy!
