Whimsical Watercolor Birthday Card by Karen

Hello!  Karen here today with a fun idea for birthday cards!

For this whimsical card, I used my Marvy Uchida LePlume II markers as watercolors. To do this, lay down color from your marker onto a non-porous surface (plastic sheet or your acrylic stamp block). Then simply use your watercolor brush to lift up the color.
I used a small sheet of watercolor paper which I first spritzed with a bit of water and  used the pink marker to create the rough shape for a cupcake stand. I added a table with some blue to anchor the stand and then added lots of splatters of color, still using the markers and water brush.

Once it was completely dry, I went back in with my black LePen to sketch out the whimsical-style stand. A yummy cupcake sticker was placed on the stand (I trimmed the bottom dots from the circle).

I added the Happy Birthday sentiment and the stitches along the side to complete this fun and pretty card. Can't wait to send it out to someone special!

Little Lamb Bible Journaling by Shannon

Bible Journaling is such a personal thing.  Each day many of our design team members spend time reflecting on Bible verses and then adding an illustration.  Today Shannon Morgan joins us with her personal thoughts and her beautiful artistry.

-------------------------

It's always an abrupt transition from preparing for the birth of Jesus to his adulthood and acceptance of what He's about to take on. This entry is still in the celebration of Christmas for my faith, yet here we are reading about John the Baptist declaring that Jesus is THE ONE!

My mind is still stuck in infant Jesus land and we're already reading about grown up Jesus. I couldn't help drawing a baby lamb, because as infinite as Jesus becomes, he was still a sweet, vulnerable, beautiful baby boy. Being a mom, I identify with this, I am looking up into my Paddy's face now and it seems just that fast...he was a baby and it seems to have flown by. I can't help but think of him as my baby. I can't help but think of Mary feeling this way, especially once she realized what Jesus was going to endure. As always, I remain thankful for Mary's yes and Jesus being strong enough to tell his Father in Heaven, yes.

I couldn't have drawn that sweet lamb quite the way I wanted to without a perfect white pen. SRM has just that pen. It's light when you need it to be, the lamby swirls, or heavy when you need it, bordered letters. Thank you for letting me share with you and I hope you are inspired today!

Bless You Vinyl Box by Samantha

Hello! Samantha here today to share a little project for those of you with spring allergies. You can't make spring allergies any fun, but you can make them a little cuter with this simple Bless You Tissue Box.

I started with an unfinished wood tissue box holder. I painted it with a bright blue color, because after a winter of snow and dark I'm always ready for bright spring colors. When the paint dried, it was time to add some vinyl.

I love SRM's metallic vinyl, and I never shy away from mixing it up a bit, so I decided to use both the gold and the silver vinyl on my tissue box. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut both the silver "Bless you!" and a gold shadow to go around it.

I used transfer tape to position the metallic vinyl on the box. It's that simple to brighten up tissue box and bring a little sunshine while you're muddling through spring allergies!

Oh Baby Gift Bags by Shelly

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Today, I'm sharing some super sweet and easy baby gift bags!

Seriously, how cute are those little white polka dots on the kraft?!!...When I was looking at them, my mind just kept thinking of baby. (and no, I'm not expecting. lol) So, baby gift bags it was!

I started with each bag, folded the top down and added some twine. After adding my twine, I tied a bow.

Once done, I added my 'oh baby' sticker. Which I used a circle die with some white cardstock, then added my sticker to it.

After, I added my sticker piece to my twine using a mini clothespin. Easy peasy, right?!...

*I made up each bag with a different color of twine to show how easy it is to change things up. If it were to be for a boy, girl, etc. Also, I only added a little bit of tissue paper in my bags but you could easily fill them with treats, announcements, keepsakes, etc. All around fun, yeah?!...

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day and see you soon!

Spring-Inspired Mini Card Set by Tobi

Hi there! It's Tobi Crawford here with some pretty Spring-inspired cards. I know that it's Valentine's Day but what says love more than sweet flowers?
Before you know it the flowers will be blooming and the world will look green and fresh again. My entire colour-scheme is based on the patterned papers I chose, and the design/layout was inspired by a card on Pinterest! I take inspiration from where I can, because on these cold winter days the mojo isn't always flowing like it should ;)

Every card is a little different as I mixed and matched the greenery and flower sizes. When I am mass-producing or making a set like these guys, I don't like to make them exactly the same because I get bored easily... Lol.. VERY easily. So making small adjustments and changes keeps it fresh.

I played around with the die cut flowers too. Sometime the small pieces were inlaid, and sometimes I put them on top for a raised effect...

I also added the foiled die cut for a little "pop." Initially I didn't have it on the card but I felt it needed something. I think the metallic element is a nice texture-change as well.  The the white sentiments?  They are from SRM.  There's always a perfect choice!  For this project I used the We've Got Your Sticker Thanks.

Valentine Goodie Bag by Michele

Good morning!  Michele here with a Valentine goody bag to share! I used the heart and love sentiment from the brand new set, Walk by Faith The heart was stamped numerous times with Versamark ink and embossed in gold.  I used my Watercolor Twist Pencils to color the background and each of the hearts.

I added a highlight to each heart using my new Gel Reminisce Pen in white.  I stamped the Love sentiment with Versamark and embossed it in gold.  I used a heart shaped die cut and sponged pink ink around the edges while die was still in place.  I adhered everything to this darling patterned striped bag!  I added a bit of pink and white twine and a felt heart.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Love You by Michele

Good morning friends! Michele here with another lumpy, bumpy card!  I used layers of die cut paper, felt, and a resin frame.  I lined up tiny felt hearts inside the frame and glued a clear sequin on each one.  I decided that a sentiment from Stickers by the Dozen/Valentine would be a perfect way to tie the hearts together!

I tied a red satin bow with a bit of pink/white twine, a felt posey and another clear sequin to finish the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Renew The Love Within by Shannon

This may be a little late in the season to be sharing an Advent entry...but...the focus is right on time. I'm forever delayed on getting things done for myself on time.
Guys, I really wanted to be the person who completed my December Daily album (wait, what...yeah that didn't happen) and I wanted to do a daily Advent entry...cue the laughter reel, again hilarity ensues.
Anyone who knows me, knows I am incapable of saying no to a cry for help. Unless I have a bone protruding from my body somewhere or I am super ill, I will be there. This is what happened from August to December and is still ongoing. Guess what? I am more than ok with it, I am a helper, it's what I do. Yet there's that regret of not being able to focus on what I love most, creating. It's not my path at the moment. It's going to circle around. Which brings me to the relevance, on renewing the love. You deserve a few quiet moments to focus yourself each day, I'm working on loving myself a little bit this year. That means doing things that make me happy. Renewing the spirit inside myself so I can care and help others without feeling deflated. To help with renewed  joy and care.

So in a weird way, this Advent message is a Valentine/Love message to you. Renew the love within you, look to things with a smile instead of a frown. I know that's easier said than done and I am guilty of frowning myself. When you're stuck and unable to say yes...say a quick prayer to God to renew your spirit and help you to be cheerful, to love others and yourself.

This entry was incredibly easy to create, hearts are one of my favorite things, so it flowed out of me quite fluently. I used watercolor pencils, the wonderful new white pen and Le Pens for this entry. Thank you for letting me share with you.

Happy Chinese New Year by Tobi

Nihao, it's Tobi Crawford here with some custom-cut vinyl pieces for cards. Did you know that Chinese New Year was January 28th? Until I moved to China I had no idea how big of a deal it is... If possible, it's bigger than Christmas! The country (yes, of 1.5 billion people) literally shuts down so people can go spend time with their families and for two weeks you will be hard-pressed to find a corner store open for business... So it was no surprise to me to get a couple of requests for CNY (Chinese new year) themed cards.

When I first got the request I immediately knew I'd use red and gold, but I didn't have anything stamp or die-cut related to China or CNY. Enter in Cameo and vinyl!!

It is really hard to show that the cuts are indeed GOLD, but you can see the gorgeous detail I got, and then since it's basically a sticker, I just adhered it to the cardstock.

Here's another version:

This is more traditional with the CNY lanterns.

Lastly, this is a thank you for a Yoga teacher made with the same supplies, but just a different color-scheme.

Valentine Gift Tag by Michele

Good morning! Michele here with an altered birch wood disc.  I used a sunburst stencil and texture paste.  I sprinkled yellow glitter over it.  I glued some pink and orange pom pom trim to the perimeter of the circle.

I cut an orange felt circle for the middle of the sun and adhered two stickers from the Valentine Sticker by the Dozen collection  I also added a few sequins, white thread with a clear sequin.

I thought this a perfect decor item or gift bag tag!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

Love & Kisses by Amber

More "love" from our Design Team today on Day #3 of Valentine Week #2!
There's plenty of time left to make some of the amazing creations that we've been sharing with you!

------------------

Hello everyone! It's Amber here, today I have this fun little Valentine's Day card to share. I used these two little sheep from My Favorite Things BB Ewe Are the Best stamp set and paired them with some Valentine's Day themed pattered paper, sliver heart sequins, and SRM's Sentiment/Love sticker sheet.

To begin I started with an A2 sized white card base and adhered a slightly smaller piece of patterned paper to the front. I cut a second piece of pattered paper into a strip and adhered it right over the first piece of patterned paper I added to my card base towards the top half.  I die cut a large stitched circle out of some white cardstock to stamp my images onto, cut a little heart out of some gray paper, and cut two different sized banners out of some pink paper to add to my card later.

I stamped the two adorable little ewes towards the top center of my stitched die cut circle, colored them in with some Spectrum Noir Markers, and adhered the die cut to the middle of my card base right over my two layers of patterned paper. I adhered the little grey heart I cut to the left of my circle die cut and adhered the large pink banner with the "Love & Kisses" sentiment to the right of my grey heart right below my two images. I added the second pink banner I created towards the top right of my card base and finished my card with some sliver heart sequins. I hope you enjoyed my card today!
Thanks for visiting!

From the Heart by Shannon

Good morning, Shannon here..sharing a Valentine's Day inspiration post with you.

In a world of digital everything, there's something to be said about a handmade card or note. When you take the time to send a heartfelt note, it can make all the difference in someone's day. ❤

I created some festive, fun Valentines using SRM stickers, doilies, twine, punched paper pieces and labels!

Take a look at the set of three below:

I love Stickers by the Dozen! They are ideal for invitations, thank you notes, greetings for family and friends. I am instantly transported to my childhood using doilies, how awesome are these Red Heart Lace Doilies?!?!?
Punched Paper Pieces add the perfect pop of color to these greetings.

SRM Labels by the Dozen can serve so many uses, as an actual label, a gift tag, or a super cute embellishment! A go to sticker for me in pretty much every project, Sticker Stitches...you can find them on 99% of my projects. The other one percent? I blame my children and their friends for horribly distracting me!

A Valentine wouldn't be a Valentine without a sweet sentiment, SRM has so many ways to express yourself, even the We've Got Your Border Stickers have sentiments and heartfelt wishes on them! And twine is always a perfect addition to anything ❤

Thank you for letting me share these sweet valentines with you today!

Jesus Loves Me Valentine by Christine

As soon as I got my hands on my new Bible Journaling stamps I knew I was going to have design a Valentine with them for my kids to make!  Christine joining you today with a quick and easy Valentine to stamp with your kids!

This was super easy to make and I create a process video to walk you thru how I did it!

Here's a closeup look at the Valentine and bag.

To create my Valentine I used a sentiment from the Child of God Stamp Set.  The background is made with a border stamp from the New Testament Stamp Set.

I tucked the Valentine into one of the brand new patterned bags and then sealed the whole thing with a heart sticker from the Stickers by the Dozen Valentine set.
